Le Belle Fool Sans Merci - December 2022

My last piece from 2022, in which I tasked myself for some reason to a redraw of la belle dame sans merci with my favs. Closing off the year with this art piece was a little major for me (backgrounds ugh) but super excited to get into 2023 with renewed creative vigour!!

Reading Fool's Fate mood board (ch.21 specifically)

I just finished golden fool and although I think the rhythm by the second half was not as good as the first, the whole book is a masterpiece. That one alongside with the third assassin's quest are currently my favorites. Now THE QUARREL all alone is one of my favorites scenes in all literature prove me wrong yk!!

I am so relieved that the fool keeps it gender fluid identity and the robin hobb did not took the easier way by making him/her assume a definitive gender. Also, for lord's sake Fitz, you are definitely not worth the wait because the fool is way too much for you. Anyways, hope your non-homo phase it's over soon.

I think we all need to have a moment of thanks for the editors at HarperCollins Voyager and Bantam Spectra who read the entirety of the Fitz and Beloved's developing relationship and then looked Robin Hobb in the eyes and said, yes, this is platonic, I agree. Unsung heroes.
