Repost @lcfremont It’s time for #horrorsistersfavoritemoviesof2021 and I’m starting out with a polarizing one. 💀What can be said about Malignant? It’s bat shit crazy and I loved every single second of it. There is dramatic close ups on cheesy overacting, a medical award that gets turned into a weapon, a seriously cool tracking shot, a bonkers backstory that somehow makes sense and a final act that is absolutely not what you are expecting, but exactly what you needed. Annabelle Wallis pulls off an impressive job as Madison (especially in that final act) and Michole Briana White is comedic gold as Detective Moss. James Wan threw us a curveball with this movie and it’s a real gem of banana pants craziness.
