9 fell in love with life again because of Rose. Then on Satellite 5 he thought he saw her die before his eyes, got her back, then almost watched her burn from the inside out because she loved him enough to sacrifice her life for him. He then died for her.

Of COURSE Ten is afraid of love, and specifically loving Rose. He's held what he thought was her ashes in his hand, and his whole existence he's known that one day he might lead her to her death for real.

Nine fell in love with his pink and yellow human.

Ten was born in love with her, and that terrified him.

I am sorry but my roman empire is Rose Tyler being trapped in the parallel world away from the Doctor. Really just the whole last ten minutes of Doomsday. The shit cut me so deep.

I AM SORRY BUT when Rose stops screaming to go back and just goes silent cause she can FEEL the Doctor through the wall, maybe even imagine the beating of his two hearts. Like ugh it's so hard to watch even 18 years later. Like nothing will ever compare to that moment. That hurt they both are feeling. How they thought they had a life together because SHE WAS GOING TO STAY FOREVER. and it was literally ripped from their hands! And even when they finally say goodbye it's let unfinished (I deny metecrisis ten) I will not Elaborate on that

Anyways their story will forever be unfinished in my mind. And that is sad beautiful and tragic. And I just honestly lost my train of thought at point to this post but Basically. I am back on my DW bs and I need good as shit tenrose content

Anyone have any really solid 10/Rose fanfic where she has a little Time Lord hybrid in the parallel world? Like they are properly as much of a couple as they can be with telepathy and all that? And she's trying for find him again with the initial reason but also to tell him about his child. (*I've always headcannoned thier kid to be a boy but either sex works). I want your bangers. The ones that leave a stamp on your soul. The best. I'm so hungry for that type of story rn. Bonus for angst and a little bit of smut as well but not entirely necessary.

I don’t know if it’s because I am autistic but for some reason as a kid I never realised Rose and Ten is meant to be seen as like a doomed lovers relationship. I fully watched her get sent to another universe and tell the doctor she loved him and went “wow what a great friendship”. It’s the opposite of homophobes with queer relationships going “why do you have to ruin male friendship”
