I'm in such a fluffy mood thinking about how two muses are pining so hard for each other that when they think the other isn't looking they just stare at them like they're their whole world and theres just fleeting touches and gentle words

And then the damn breaks and they make out and it gets spicy ✪ ω ✪✪ ω ✪

Or just the unrequitedness of watching the person they're in love with being happy with someone else and they're absolutely miserable but they play it cool because as long as they're happy they'll survive :D But everyone can see they're dying on the inside and always on the brink of tears. Along with the obliviousness of the crush and when they finally confess they take it platonically because that's all they ever been so its weird to think of think as something else.

And then theres the ones that think they're too plain, too boring, too much in the shadows to be with someone who is literally their opposite and thinks they can always do better and then it turns potentially unrequited but they're okay with it because they never expected feelings to be reciprocated anyway. Even if it painfully obvious to everyone else that its mutual but they've been beaten down so much they can't believe it. They think it's inevitable that they'll get bored and leave.

Then there are the ones who fall for the wrong people, the ones who they know it wouldn't work. So they stay quiet, in pain, and hope the other doesn't notice it. Its not so much the person is toxic, but more of theres something so innately incompatible between the two yet it happens anyway.
