I think Symphonie Fantastique is one of the most interesting pieces of music, for how it was created. Berlioz loved an English speaking actor he met in his home country of France. And they couldn't understand each other cuz of the whole not speaking the same language thing.
SO he has a dream, a nightmare probably, does opium and writes a 5 movement piece scored for twice the number of instruments as was usual in an orchestra at the time. And then wins her heart somehow even though THEY STILL DONT SPEAK THE SAME LANGUAGE
