So I looked this one up cause I’d never heard of this pairing. And apparently their ship name is Artillary. I have no clue where these two as a couple come from but I am intrigued and now have an excuse to write about Sym.

Coffee shop AU: Who is the barista, and who frequents the coffee shop? 

Fareeha works at a local star bucks cause she’s a broke sports scholarship collage student

Satya is the extra exhausted architect major who spends most her mornings and late afternoons chugging venti triple espessos

Fareeha is extremely concerned about Satya but is way too intimidated to address her about her coffee intake

Highschool/College AU: Who is the straight-A student, and who’s the backrow slacker? 

This absolutely ties into the Coffee shop AU above

Fareeha’s here on a basketball scholarship and working 4 jobs she doesn’t have time to pass her classes.

Satya would rather die of caffeine poisoning than risk getting anything less than an A on her projects

Rivals to loves AU: Who takes their rivalry seriously, and who is half in it just to push the other’s buttons? 

Satya is 9000% serious. She is determined to destroy Fareeha.

Fareeha doesn’t even notice there’s a rivalry, she either thinks Satya hates her, or they’re best friends just friendly bickering

Enemies to lovers AU: Which one switches sides? 

Satya’s going to join Overwatch eventually, when she finds out how twisted Viskar really is

Soulmate AU: Who is eager to meet their soulmate? Who absolutely does not want to meet their soulmate? 

Fareeha is ALL about having a soulmate. She was raised by everyone in Overwatch talking about their own soulmate and the difference it makes in your life

While it’s not her number 1 priority, she still really looks forward to meeting them 

Meanwhile, Satya is work first all the time. She honestly could care less about ever meeting her soulmate. She doesn’t even really like romance all that much

Single parent AU: Which one is the single parent? 

Fareeha Amari, learning from the three most adoptive people in Overwatch, absolutely scooped up an orphan during one of her missions

Satya, naturally more coordinated and better with children is much more mother like to this random child

Doctor AU: Which one is the long suffering doctor? Which one is the patient? 

Doctor Satya Vaswani and rough and tumble jock Fareeha

Satya works in a little clinic in a small town

Fareeha comes in daily with everything as minuscule as a scrapped knee, to a full on broken nose

She mostly comes by to flirt with Satya though

Bodyguard AU: Who is the bodyguard? Who are they protecting? Which one is secretly pining for the other? 

AU in which Viskar does hire Helix to protect them

Fareeha is assigned to protect Satya, sense she’s one of the best architects they have

Fareeha witnesses a Symmetra mission that, like in the comic, backfires horribly. She’s the one to snap Satya out of Viskar’s control

Pirate AU: Who is the pirate? Who is the member of the royal family who did not sign up for this? 

The Amari’s are for sure a pirate family. Ana already has a pirate skin

Satya absolutly did not sign up to spend months on a floating rat cage and she refuses to be quiet about her complaints

Ana considers throwing her over board most days 

Childhood best friends AU: Which one was super obviously in love with the other the whole time? Who was oblivious until they were older? 

Autistic child Satya absolutely does not catch ANY hints that Fareeha liked her at all

Fareeha, baby lesbian, tries very very hard though

Make it full circle this also ties into the College/Coffee Shop AU I mentioned before

Where Satya moved away before middle school, and they somehow ended up going to the same college, but Satya doesn’t remember Fareeha at all
