 Ok but legit I have been practicing with my (borrowed) rapier every day this month (barring like one or two early on when my arms were aching), and my arms are getting so much stronger.

Like holy shit, it’s only been about three weeks and there’s been a HUGE amount of difference. 

And the more I practice, the more I want to practice.

Dear FFXIV:

I am currently playing the patch stuff so I can go back to level 70 dungeon roulettes and I have this to say:

BRINGING BACK THE MOST ANNOYING VILLAIN IN THIS ENTIRE FUCKING SERIES AFTER WE FINALLY GET TO KILL HIM IS FRUSTRATING AND DOWNRIGHT CRUEL, AND I DO NOT ACCEPT THIS!

We beat on Zenos in TWO SEPARATE SOLO DUTIES, and you made him unkillable.

Then there was Ala Mhigo, and we finally got to hammer him into the ground ... but noooooooo, apparently that wasn’t the end of it.

And THEN there was Shinryu.

I am NOT forgiving you for Shinryu.

And NOW? As of the end of patch 4.2? You’re telling me that after we beat him as a fucking PRIMAL, he’s somehow still alive?

Find a new villain, Squeenix. Turn Traitor McDeceptivePants into the next Zenos if you have to have an unkillable death machine with a hard-on for bloodshed. But don’t make us fight SwordDude McShampooAd in two fights we’re hard-coded to lose, then make us fight him in a bullshit AoE fight, and THEN fight him as a FUCKING PRIMAL ... and then STILL bring him back. It cheapens the entire ending of Stormblood, and I get that no one gets to die in anime (like in soap operas) but COME THE FUCK ON.

Oh dear fucking GODS I hate everything right now.
