“Mm.. I guess it’s whatever we decide,” he murmured between kisses.  “It’s been more than I really expected already.  Though I’ve loved every moment of it.”

He continued kissing her until his lips went numb and he was breathless and fuzzy headed, then finally lay back on the couch with a content sigh.  “Mmm… I think I’d like to go sit on the balcony again for a bit,” he said.  He brought his lips to her ear.  “It’s smelling a lot like sex in here,” he whispered, and kissed her cheek.

“We could leave the door open and air the room out a bit,” he suggested.  “What did you want to do for dinner tonight.  I was thinking of just having it in the room, but I don’t know, maybe getting out for one meal might be a good idea?”

Peggy nodded. “I’ll be sure to tell you,” she said. “Even if we do get tired - or sore - just laying like this and touching and kissing is fine. It’s still intimacy, even if it’s not lovemaking.” She laughed. “We never really established what counts as a marathon.” She was teasing. “Does half a day count? Should we get to ten rounds? I think this was seven times. I think I could handle a few more. Perhaps not…yet.”

She was completely content with making out with him right here. Her lips parted and she yielded to his tongue, and returned his kiss with all her passion, all her love. It felt wonderful just to lay here, naked in his arms, skin against skin, and just kiss. She wrapped her arms around him and kissed him deeply, slowly, lazily, and enjoyed every brush of his lips, every swipe of his tongue against hers. 

“You’re so wonderful to me,” she whispered.

I always had this headcanon of Peggy Carter being the Winter Soldier. She’d go on the run with Steve and the crew after Civil War and there would be some spots of levity or romance… waking up in some abandoned warehouse in who knows where.

i still can't get over how deep steve and peggy's respect, admiration and love for one-another was woven into their individual journeys throughout the mcu. it makes me so happy.

steve thinks about her in every film, he carries her picture and talks about her influence on him even when he's trying to suffer in silence. then there is peggy, with a picture of him pre-serum on her desk, who talks about him, and carries his influence and looks up to him throughout her entire career. i love them so much.
