can you share about your WIPs, "Silver and Sonic going out for luns together" and "Sonic and Silver with Silver's cute sweet dream" please? :D
Of course!🍀 I'll put excerpts of both under the cut, with the title for each ^-^
For Silver and Sonic going to luns: the idea there is that Sonic invited Silver to go get lunch together in a fancy restaurant in Station Square, except Silver comes in late and scraggly as heck due to drama in the future. It doesn't have a big story: it's just the bois being cute together and hanging out with a ton of comfort and fluff <3 I just don't really know how I want it to end, haha!
And Silver's cute sweet dream is based on a dream I had, actually: I dreamt my best friend and I were hanging out at a neighbourhood barbecue in my street, and they got a salad with a food they're allergic to in it (woops XD) and I also gave them eight siblings in my mind (which they deemed to be Too Many). The moment I woke up, I incorporated all that in a story about Silver having had about the same dream, and going to Sonic to tell him about it <3 And my friend doesn't live close by, so I told them that I enjoyed the fact we can hang out in my dreams even if we aren't together in real life, and I wrote that into the fic as well❤️ Also here the ending is a pain, lol. It's really just one or two sentences I need to think up... but I don't have inspiration for it yet. Hopefully soon!

The bois going to get luns together
It’s unlike Silver to be late.
But late he is, one sunny noon in which Sonic has paced through the entirety of the streets around Station Square’s finest hotels a dozen times over. Had the speedster arrived most timely, Silver is making him wait; long, and fond annoyances at that have long made way for far deeper worries.
“Silver, where are you?” Sonic mutters under his breath, ears twitching. His pal has to come from the future; their lunch reservation had been planned before he went back to his home in his birth era. But if it’s already unlike Silver to be late, it’s even more unlike him to forget the plans he makes, and thus Sonic cannot help but fret. Going to the future surely is not impossible, but he’s not sure how, or even where he can find Silver in both time and location-
But a flittering spark of light, that materialises before bursting into a swirling blue portal, make the speedster whirl right around again.
Out stumbles the scruffiest, dirtiest, most weary hedgehog Sonic has seen in a long time.
“Silver,” Sonic blinks, remembering just in time to put a smile on his face. “What took you, bud?”
“Sorry, sorry,” he gets shrugged at. With a grunt Silver lands on the ground; and staggers, just a bit, but enough for Sonic’s experienced eyes to notice with no issue. “I got caught up, is all. Did you have to wait long?” the time traveller continues, rubbing the side of his head. Sonic’s sure there’s a huge bruise there, seeped just a bit onto his muzzle.
“Nah, not at all. I was a bit early myself.”
“That’s good. Apologies again.”
“Is… everything going okay in the future?” Sonic deems the best, least loaded question to ask. Not that it gets answered in the way the speedster wants, because Silver just shrugs again.
“It is,” the vague answer comes. “Which place did you pick for lunch?”
With a grandiose swaying of his arms Sonic gestured to the building behind him. “This one! For a special reason,” he smiles. A special reason specifically aligned with what interests Silver… “Come on, let’s go!”
“Let’s,” Silver agrees… before stumbling into movement but brushing off all Sonic’s worried grimaces and attempts to help him walk, and thus their entry into the restaurant-slash-hotel takes way longer than planned. But eventually Sonic has got them both into the elevator and to the highest floor where their lunch will be hosted, and the way Silver peeks around with wide eyes makes it all worth it. “This place looks fancy.”
“Yep! They’ve got the best penthouse restaurant in all of Station Square here. And the only, as far as I know. But Amy would be able to tell you more about that than I can.” Though, it’s probably at least the prettiest penthouse restaurant Silver has seen; Sonic has to stifle a chuckle at the curious look his pal sends the ornate pillars and soft carpet that stretch out into their place to grab a bite. “I reserved a table for two,” the speedster adds, darting right off to alert the staff of his appearance. At least it’s not crowded; with some apologies about being late and some chastising eyebrow-raises at the way Silver’s scruffy appearance gets beheld the two hedgehogs find themselves seated in minutes.
[this is the first page in my document; I've got a lot more written already ^-^]

Silver's cute sweet dream
A presence hovers above Sonic’s face.
It can’t be a threatening presence, for Sonic would long have shot up from his rest and kicked it away should his subconscious have picked up on any sense of danger. But it’s a presence nonetheless, and Sonic’s ears twitch at it as he rouses slowly. Lithe breaths roll over his face…
A person, Sonic sleepily concludes as he stirs a bit more. But one who sits very quietly while Sonic is waking up, the speedster’s muscles tensing in a stretch of his shoulders and his fingers digging into grass. Oh, yes: he’d zonked out under a tree last night, huddled away into the protective embrace of its roots and the greenery around. Morning sunlight colours the insides of his eyelids red and dances over his body like a comfortable blanket, though not as warm as the breaths of the person.
Curiously Sonic’s hand moves up. His fingers bump against whomever is leaning over him, splaying out as he explores. The person is warm, and soft, and has a wet nose that twitches when Sonic caresses it, and he’s definitely got a spiky hairdo that Sonic’s glove gets snagged on as he moves his hand further. With some prodding he can determine a most recognisable sensation of five quills splaying out from a forehead…
“Good morning, Silver,” he speaks up.
“Morning,” follows, a tad dryly. “Why are you petting me?”
Cranking open one eye Sonic stifles a laugh. Silver’s face hovers inches from Sonic’s, the psychic sitting cross-legged on the ground with a raised eyebrow that sits half-smushed under Sonic’s fingers. “Most people are a bit surprised when there’s suddenly a person beside them when there was none the evening before,” the speedster teases, pulling his hand down again. But those thoughts clearly had not deterred Silver, who merely shrugs back.
“I guess so. But I wanted to tell you about a dream I had.”
Sonic can’t stifle a snort at that non-sequitur. Leave it to Silver to appear out of the blue with statement like that, and Sonic wouldn’t have him any other way. “Lay down with me. Was it a fun dream?” he inquires, scooting over a bit to make space for his pal. He’s long learned to not question Silver about these things, nor does he want to.
Silver’s warm body sinks against his, the other nodding. “It was. We were at a neighbourhood barbeque in my city. I guess there was a celebration going on.”
“Sounds like my kinda party,” Sonic, never one to say no to parties or barbeques, grins. “Was there tasty food?”
“Lots of it,” Silver agrees… before a dramatic silence falls. “But you had a salad.”
Green eyes widen in mock horror. “What? At a barbeque?”
Even in the dim morning sun Sonic can see the corners of Silver’s lips twitch up. “Hmhm. With tomatoes.”
“Bleeeeeegh,” Sonic retorts with an exaggerated roll of his voice. Not that he hates tomato that much, but he’s certainly got a ton of foods he likes a lot more. And especially at a barbeque of all places; where are all the fried goods?!
“It was a really sad salad too,” Silver nods with fake sympathy. “Soggy… Nasty-looking… Small, even…”
“You might want to rewire some things in here, if your dream creates a scenario wherein I am not eating chili dogs and burgers at a barbeque,” Sonic huffs, tweaking a finger against the psychic’s forehead. The nerve of that brain of his to come up with such a scenario! But Silver laughs in full, mischief twinkling in his eyes.
“You also had eight siblings, but that is neither here or there.”
Sonic snorts. “Oh jeez. That’s a bit too many.”
“They were nice,” Silver shrugs back. “And there was music, and lots of people… It was a very fun barbeque.”
“It sounds like it.” Comfortably stretching out into his blanket of grass Sonic smiles. Tomato-filled salads and siblings aside, apparently…
Silver hums comfortably too, chin sinking onto the tree roots beside Sonic’s head. They lay in silence for a few moments, the psychic’s body radiating heat and Sonic gladly leaning into that, before his friend twitches.
“Oh! But that’s not what I actually wanted to tell you.”
“What would that be, then?”
“I wanted to say that I’m happy that, even if we can’t hang out in real life all the time, we can still be together in my dreams,” Silver smiles back.
A warm smile flows onto Sonic’s face in turn.
“That’s true. As long as we dream of each other, in those minutes it is like we are right by each other’s sides.”
“And that made me happy. I wanted to say that too,” the psychic adds. Though also tired, apparently: Sonic has to swallow down a laugh at the huge yawn that accompanies those words seconds after.
“Did you get enough sleep?”
Golden eyes blink almost adorably blearily. “Probably not.”
“What time did you wake up from your dream?”
“Just before five, and then I went here immediately.”
“You need to get eight hours of sleep a day, lest you ruin your running,” Sonic smart-mouthily informs his pal, which earns him a huff and a cold wet nose jammed right against his neck. But Silver does shimmy closer as Sonic moves one arm up to give the other better access to his side, a sigh of contentment following as the psychic curls into the crook of his body. “Get some more shut-eye,” the speedster adds fondly. “I’ll do the same. Have sweet dreams.”
“I’m not sure if I’ll dream of you again if you’re right here,” gets murmured out into Sonic’s fur, quiet and sleepily.
“That’s okay. Even if you don’t, I’ll be here when you wake up, so we’re together still.”
That seems to soothe Silver; a happier purr follows, that cold wet nose tucking itself away snugly into Sonic’s fur and making the speedster have to muffle a laugh as Silver’s breaths rustle his fur once more. But it does tell him when those breaths slow in full, Silver’s entire body relaxed against him in a way the psychic is rarely seen. “Please give me actually decent barbeque food in your dreams this time,” Sonic whispers into a grey eat standing at half-attention, which twitches, hopefully in understanding.
Or he’ll take the initiative and get Silver a chili dog in his own dreams, Sonic smiles, and it takes mere minutes for him to have drifted off into a comfortable doze as well.
[.....................so I actually have a space between those last two paragraphs in my document, but this does work kinda well to just put it together... hmm🤔🤔]
