Some of my favourite scenes in chapter 7 are the ones where General Lilia makes a statement that is no longer true in the future (ex: he will never like children and hates them, he isn't a father, he will always be in Meleanors service etc.) and every time Sebek and Silver just react with deafening silence and stares.

Going to be obsessing over how Malleus was always there to celebrate Silver's birthday, the human he thought was a gross monkey and didn't want anything to do with, who he only did the bare minimum to keep alive to avoid making Lilia upset. Thinking about little kid Silver running up to him every year before his birthday to give him his hand-made invitation to his birthday party, made with some paper lying around and crayon... The way Malleus would have been completely swept off his feet by this tiny little human he was determined to hate by the first birthday invitation alone 😭

Twst spoilers for the Halloween event!

Wow, everyone is really fast with their fanart. I had to go to a vector base I made for inktober to make this, lol.

Anyway, super excited for the Halloween event but also I’m trying to keep my expectations low after some of the previous Halloween events disappointed me. I just really, REALLY hope they focus on just the Halloween aspects and ignore the x-mas stuff. I like x-mas but ever since The Nightmare before Christmas came out it’s been infringing on other holidays. (I hate the x-mas in July thing. >:( ) But I digress.

Halloween town is so cool that I want to focus on that stuff. And if Oogie’s here, I hope he’s actual villain. I know that goes against what TWST is about, but I wanna see how the boys act against an actual baddie. (No, Henrick doesn’t count!) Look, just say that he has blue and orange mentality, meaning he’s unaware when he crosses the line. That way, we get a “non-villain” and a villain at the same time!

Speaking of the boys, my dream cast for this is as follows;

Silver: Because A) he’s my fave and I want him in everything. (And I have a feeling when ch 7, he’ll be pushed to the side.) Plus, I can see him in Sally’s role where everyone is having fun but he knows something’s wrong. However, he hesitates to say anything because he doesn’t want to ruin everyone’s fun.

Lilia: Partly because we haven’t had an event with him and Silver together. Also, I think this event, if the writers choose to, can explore how he can be too carefree or over confident, which gets him and others in trouble.

Jamil: This mainly is for the lols as all the creepy crawlies will have him burn everything down. But also, the mind game of him and Oogie would be fun. (And some JamSil moments?)

Ace, Ortho, and Epel: Not gonna lie I wanna see the trio go against the Trick or Treaters. At first they laugh off the tricks, until they start getting hurt and humiliated and they decided it’s payback time!

Jade: I just think he’d have fun joining Jamil in turning Oogie’s tricks against him.

Not Having a Good Time

Malleus Draconia

Were you to ask your friends what or how it is to be lonely, Malleus would be the first to know the answer, but he'd be the last to respond. (No, that has nothing to do with the last arrival or no show trope.) Malleus is not one to express his negative emotions. Most times, they don't bother him so often. However, when he sees you down and out, he can't help but want to do something about it. He finds you coming home from the main campus as usual, and as you two meet for your daily meeting, he confronts you about your usual behavior. Hesitantly, you explain the week's stresses to him, and it's had you bothered for a while. You feel ashamed that Malleus had to see it, so you had hoped to stargaze to help releax.

"Quite frankly, Child of Man, it appears we are both bothered this evening. Shall we take a stroll together as we indulge in the night air? I know a place to get a better view of the stars."

You two stick together as you walk around Night Raven's campus. If it were a kinda chilly evening on the island, Malleus will remove his large uniform jacket and wrap it around you to keep you warm. Whatever is making you the most comfortable, Malleus keeps his attention on the little things to make the comfort happen.

Lilia Vanrouge

You were not in the mood for any out-of-nowhere surprises, but unfortunately for you, Lilia is all that. You were at dinner by yourself as all of your friends were elsewhere. You keep poking at your food with no motivation to eat any of it. Since he noticed you weren't exactly busy, Lilia thought it was the first time to say, "Hi." He classically upside-downs himself from the chandelier, which scares the living crud out of you, even more than usual. Lilia returns to ground and apologizes immediately. Since making you laugh or smile didn't work in that way, he questions what has gotten into you today. You weren't sure how to answer since he's the most senior of all of your classmates. Furthermore, after the scare you just had, you really didn't feel like talking about your problems. Lilia deeply sighs and says:

"Listen, Yuu, I don't know what's going on, and I believe it would help the both of us if you opened up a little. I won't tell anyone. This conversation is just between the two of us."

If Lilia says so, you let out your frustrations stronger than you usually would. It's a little frightening, even for you. However, this is Lilia you're talking to. A raise of voice is not going to scare this fae warrior. In fact, as you regain your breathing after ranting, Lila puts his hand on your head, ruffling your hair as he chuckles warmly. He reminds you that you don't need to keep your problems to yourself and that letting it out will set you the most free. He asks if you would like to talk about it some more while you eat, and you agree to the invitation. All this talking has made you more hungry, much to Lilia's delight.

Silver

Riddle's surprise tutoring session not only ruined Ace and Deuce's private time, it also ruined the hangout that you had been planning with them for days. To say that you're pissed is an understatement. You three have been looking forward to letting all the class work go after a long week, but then, there it goes. You get a text from Silver, reading that he had been hearing from Riddle during Equestrian Club that he's not too thrilled with his freshmen about flunking the latest test, so he decided to hold a tutoring session to fix that problem. He figured that Ace and Deuce were a part of that session, and he apologizes for your plans being interfered.

If it's any help to you at all, he invites you out on a horse riding trip around campus. Silver asks for you to come at 4:45pm since that's when both Riddle and Sebek would be gone from the stables. You meet him not a minute earlier than that with Silver and his horse ready for riding. He helps you up, and you're already on your way. You tell Silver that you're surprised that he hasn't returned to his dorm yet for a nap after a busy school week. Silver replies:

"Riding helps me stay awake for the evening. Furthermore, I missed having time to myself, especially during club. You are not interfering at all if that is what you're afraid of. Let me show you the trail."

Silver commands his horse to head into the forest. The run of the horse kicks up the dirt on the forest path, making the smell of nature more pungent. The late afternoon breeze hits your face like a pillow fight, which is strangely comforting. A few minutes of riding later and the horse takes you and Silver to the cliffside at the edge of the woods. The skies were shimmering on top of the ocean's surface. It was a beautiful, relaxing sight. Silver helps you down from the horse as you go relax under a tree to watch the approaching sunset.

Sebek Zigvolt

After the stressful school week you just beat, you wanted to just go home and relax, but you then remembered that you promised yourself to eat better. While at the same time, you really didn't have the energy to cook something time consuming. You're also late on receiving your allowance, so getting the expensive items is off the table. You decide to text your friends any ideas they had on cheap dinners to make. You hate to go into Sam's store without an idea in mind. However, you get a quick response from an unlikely source.

Sebek tells you to buy a bag of rice, a stalk of celery, and one chicken breast and immediately meet him back at Ramshackle. Sebek coming to you? That's a first, but you don't question it. You fetch the goods and you return to your dorm to see Sebek on the porch just as he said in the text. You don't have time to waste. He's got a recipe to teach you. You didn't even know Sebek knew how to cook, but he explains that if he, Silver, and Malleus wanted to eat good food for the rest of their lives, they had to teach themselves how to cook properly.

"You need to learn how to cook, right, human? Why are you standing so far? COME! You need teaching, so you can do this for yourself!"

Like a soldier in lineup, you come at Sebek's command as he instructs you verbally and physically how to make this rice, celery, and chicken dish. He also explains that it's easy to store for leftovers in the future, so if you don't feel like cooking, you have it right in your fridge to warm up and eat. It doesn't take long to cook either, so he helps prepare the plates and you two will enjoy the dish together. You promise that when you learn how to make this for yourself that you'll have Sebek come over to test it for you. He blushes and tries to brush it off as nothing, but he hasn't been invited much either, so maybe it wouldn't hurt as a compliment.

Sebek- *GASP* I HAVE NOT RECIEVED THIS PARTICULAR ONE YET. I SHALL ADD IT TO MY COLLECTION OF RARE -

Sebek, lowering his voice- I shall add it to my rare collections page of stickers!!!

Silver, Lilia, and Malleus staring in absolute astonishment.

Silver- ...Were you aware the prefect was using such tactics..?

Malleus- I agreed to this arangement, yes. (Y/n) had Shroud mass print a bunch of photos I gave permission for them to take of me.

Lilia- how did this come about?

Malleus- it initially began as a way to encourage him to cease referring to fellow classmates as "humans" rather than their names, and it seems to have evolved into other uses as well, as Sebek had volunteered to do more things in order to receive more stickers.

Silver- ...and does this not strike you as a little odd?

Malleus- on the contrary, I find it incredibly amusing.

You, counting your remaining stickers- I'm really just handing them out now at everything, since he's already managed to stop calling me "human." I'm running out of stickers, but he insists to keep finding more tasks to fulfill....

They stare as Sebek pulls out his notebook and adds another sticker to an already full page while cackling to himself happily

Lilia- ....absolutely genius! Why had I not thought of that?!

My personal headcanon is that the way Fae asks for their lover's hand in marriage is by weaving them a flower ring and proposing to them, they either cast a spell to not wilt or to change the flower ring regularly

So imagine the shock when you jokingly proposing to any of the diansomia boys with a flower ring

(This applies to qny of them, but i had silver in mind)

both of you were walking in the garden, while he was talking about how great malleus is, you busied yourself with a flower ring

it was a bit simple to make, you wondered if your half fae boyfriend would like your little creation

while he was still talking, you went in front of him and presented him the ring, making him stop for a moment.

his reaction was priceless, just a blank stare with blown eyes once he realized what it was LMAOOO 😭

"HUMAN! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING, PROPOSING TO ME WHILE WE ARE STILL SCHOOLING?!"

"sebek what."

turns out you didn't know a thing about fae stuff and all that, he calmed down and accepted the ring

he was a bit sulky once he found out you didn't know a thing about fae culture and actually thought you were proposing 😭🙏

while bored out of your mind, you decided to make a flower ring for your sleepy boyfriend so you can surprise it with him once he wakes up.

with your fingers delicately working on the flower and stickig it onto the ring, you felt silver wrapping his arms around you

his head resting on your shoulders as he asked what you were doing while he was still half asleep, his eyes widened a bit once seeing the object in your hands as you showed it to him.

"[name], are you sure you want to marry me? im not an ideal husband, but i can try to provide and such. if we were to have kids then-"

"silver wtf are you on about."

oh. yeah, you didn't know anything about fae customs.

he was taught about fae culture from lilia lolz, he embarrassingly hid his face from you as you put the ring on his gloved hand.

he wears it daily and often asks lilia to cast a spell on it whenever he sees it withering.

while you were out somewhere, probably at sams shop, you saw a pretty looking flower ring.

thinking of lilia and how he would rather enjoy the small gift you bought for him, you purchased the said items alongside a few more.

walking back to the campus, you could only be fnaf jumpscared by lilia who popped up in front of you, upside down, like a bat.

recovering from your surprise, you quickly boop him on his nose, makig him laugh before standing up like an actual human being.

sitting down on the ground, you showed him everything you purchased. from antiques to books.

once you showed him the flower ring, his smile turned into a straight line as he stared at you.

it wouldn't be long until he smiled sadly, knowing you didn't know a thing that you just did.

"are you trying to propose? haha, in fae culture, we usually propose through flower rings."

"oh.. then, consider this as my promise to marry you!"

you were staying in your dorm before you heard the knock, like, the knock. your boyfriend is here to take you out on a nightly stroll!!

grabbing your jacket, knowing it's a rather chilly night, you noticed the flower ring your made yesterday for him. bringing it with you, you opened the doors and saw him patiently waiting.

holding your hand in his, the moon shining its light down on the pavement the both of you stepped on, the both of you either talked or kept on walking in comfortable silence.

the next moment you brought on a new topic, you pulled out the ring, making him stop taking a few steps forward as he stood there in shock.

it wouldnt be long until fireflies decorated the area near you two, giving it a melodramatic scene as you stood there, utterly confused.

"i accept, man of child."

"malleus what do you mean 😦"

turns out you knew nothing, not even a shred of fae culture.

the fireflies would be gone and it would start raining LMAOOO

he thought you were serious, well, you were; about the whole ring thing, but he didn't think that,,,, ☹

very well then, he shall be content with the trinkets he has now.

having the ring on him, he gets all giddy now whenever he looks at it and never takes it off.
