i got an ask that referred to Shuri x Namor as ShuMor (? i think i don't remember clearly) and my brain went SHURAMORI!!!

in jpn, shura 修羅 is the demigod Asura who waged war with the Gods but it also means carnage, shambles, etc

and mori 森 means forest

these two things combined = shuramori & it makes ZERO sense linguistic wise but my brain always go a forest in carnage which isn't so far off from Shuri x Namor relationship bcs their hecking relationship is in hecking shambles bcs of all the fighting, sorta fitting! also, it sounds cute & catchy & my brain is v simple haha
