It was a memorable day for Shri Venkateshwara University as the Kickboxing federation of India (Under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports) nominated Dr Rajiv Tyagi, our Pro chancellor, its Associate Vice President.

The International Kickboxing Tournament 2022 kicked off at the Talkatora Stadium in Delhi on Nov. 3 wherein Sports Ministers, Presidents of Sporting association, & the Sports Secretary IAS Mr. Jitendra Yadav was present.

In the presence of International coaches, & players the Chairman of Kickboxing federation Santosh Agarwal, Croatian Minister Romeo Deza, South Korean Kim Harris, & International Poet Dr. Dinesh Raghuvanshi the Sports Secretary Mr. Jitendra Yadav nominated & honored Dr Rajiv Tyagi. 

In the first two days of the event, Indian players both in the Men’s & women’s category defeated Jordan & Korean players & advanced to the next round.

Dr Rajiv Tyagi received the honor for promoting sports among youths, especially girls & encouraging them to take part in national & international events.

Dr Tyagi thanked the Sports Minister, Mr. Anurag Thakur & Mr. Santosh Agarwal & dedicated his nomination to the entire Venkateshwara family.

On his feat, Dr Rajiv Tyagi asserted that it’s the clear vision of our Chairman, Dr Sudhir Giri, that Venkateshwara students should take part in national & international sporting events in large numbers.

He informed that our students have represented the country at many international events.

Later, the Campus Director, Dr Pratap Singh, gave certificates to all the participants to further boost their morale.

Then Dr Nitin Raj Verma thanked different coordinators for making the program successful.

Shri Venkateshwara University & VGI Meerut organized a campus placement drive where Sata Vikas Ltd. shortlisted diploma engineers and management graduates.

Over 226 students from Gajraula & Meerut campuses took part in the on campus placement drive.

University Professors, lawmakers & judges from different parts of the country explained the significance of new criminal laws & their application in today’s time.

Shri Venkateshwara University hosted an on-campus placement drive wherein 27 students got jobs.

Shri Venkateshwara University/VGI Meerut conducted an on campus placement drive wherein reputed Korean company PICL shortlisted 27 students.

Over 300 diploma engineering students from Gajraula & Meerut campus took part & after several rounds of selection process, the company selected 27 candidates.

The company officials, along with the College management, gave them offer letters.

These students will join as Junior Engineers from the coming July 8th. They were elated after getting jobs in these crunch times.

Till date, we have placed over 1780 students in one academic session.

Shri Venkateshwara University received accolades from the Governor of UP for doing excellent work in education & health.

It was a special day for the Venkateshwara Group.  

On the directions of the Venkateshwara Group Founder President & Chancellor Dr Sudhir Giri, the Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi met H. E. Madam Anandi Ben Patel, the Governor of UP, at Raj bhavan in Lucknow.

Dr Rajeev Tyagi presented a detailed report about the revolutionary work Shri Venkateshwara University has done in the domain of higher education, public health and women's empowerment.

He briefed her about the work the university has done in the past 15 years.

H.E. Madam Anandi Ben Patel praised Shri Venkateshwara University for their outstanding work.

In her congratulatory message, she encouraged us to focus on nation development and the nurturing of skilled professionals for the future.

Later, Dr Rajeev Tyagi informed the Governor that Shri Venkateshwara University has fully implemented NEP in its curriculum.

H. E. Madam Anandi Ben Patel congratulated us for implementing NEP in its totality & stressed the National Education policy is employment oriented & futuristic.

Shri Venkateshwara University/VGI Meerut conducted an on campus placement drive in 2024 wherein reputed automobile company Vikas Group of Companies Ltd. took part.  

Over 500 students from Gajraula & Meerut Campus took part & after 3 rounds of stringent selection process, the company shortlisted 47 candidates.

These students will work as Mechanical Engineers & join service from coming July 1st.
