When you thought about the consequences of your actions,you never imagined they would be like this.

Life was never an issue for you,as a pixie,you spent your time eating nectar,sleeping and ruining a traveler’s day whenever you could, especially when Phobos encouraged you to.

From stealing away some coins,to purposely misleading them,to using your magic to jinx them,you cackled every time you saw their frustration creep up on their faces.

Humans are stupid,and ruining their day was the peak of your own.

Today was no exception,you saw a handsome young man taking a stroll in the woods, with no equipment, nothing but a weapon on his side.

You deducted that he wasn't travelling then, only walking, a grin creeped on your face.

You thought of the many ways you can make him regret coming here, you could perhaps cut this pretty, long, dark hair that he wears in a low ponytail, or you could make him sneeze for a good few hours,or you could make him trip and lose a tooth.

You noticed that unique lock of hair on top of his head, curled like a weird antenna,wouldn't it be funny if you just cut it off? And it bothered you anyways.

So you flied around the human, giggle as you focus your magic into a tiny spectral blade.

Your laughter, however,is interrupted by a powerful force grabbing you from the air,and a fist squeezing you.

“You thought you were going to do something funny, didn't you?”

You gulped nervously,and tried to wriggle your way from the hold,you wings were basically crinkled paper now, you prayed that they still worked after this.

Now that you are so close to the human you realised he… wasn't human at all,nor was he a Celestan.

The unmistakable crescent mark on his forehead, these shining silver eyes, and the unique, asserting aura,you heart sank as it dawns on you.

“A…Axelia-Maiier?” your words barely came out of your throat.

“Don't call me that if you know what's good for you”

Tears flowed,you were screwed,so absolutely screwed.

Out of all days that your prank could have failed, it had to fail in the presence of THE Axelia, you truly hoped it was all a nightmare but no,it was real,every dreaded second of it.

“And now what can I do with you,you little bastard?”

His hand shifted around you and you breathed after long moments of suffocation,but it didn't last long,for the very next second you were dangling in the air from your foot.

“I could pluck your pretty little wings, or I could keep you hanging upside down like this,or I could keep you in my pocket for later”

Even though you were getting a horrible headache from the blood flowing to your head,you noticed how he licked his lips, they must have been dry,right?

“You know what? I think I'm feeling little bit… peckish.” Wait, what does being hungry has to do with…

Fuck.

You really, really hoped it wasn't what you thought it was,but all your hopes were snuffed out as The Axelia dangled you over his mouth, taking his sweet time in taunting you.

On one hand,it was an honour to be consumed by The Axelia, the one and only,but on the other, you didn't want to die… not in such a humiliating way.

“Ahh~”

But your thoughts weren't important, for it was time to face the consequences of your actions. You were lowered into a cavern of deep crimson red,with pearly white gates,and then you heard a little ‘click’ as said gates were sealed shut, trapping you in horrible darkness.

At least you weren't dangling anymore, despite the head splitting headache you were having from being upside down for so long,but the moment of peace went away, and another form of torture took place.

You were rolled and tossed around pathetically as The Axelia indulged himself in your taste, a loud purr vibrate around you,you didn't have even the tiniest bit of power here, just a little snack about to perish forever, for a prank that went wrong.

You had no strength left in you to fight the strong muscle, so you whimpered and sobbed.

“Please, I'm sorry!” “I'm so sorry! I won't do anything like that again! I swear!”

Your pleas fell on deaf ears as you realize what will happen next,and it won't care about how you feel.

“Axelia-Maiier… please don't do this...”

Your voice dies as the unbearably warm environment shifts around you,The Axelia then swallowed your pathetic,wet form whole.

It wasn't easy, given that he still had the body of a human, but unfortunately for you,it only needed a bit of work before it was completely done, which meant that any chances of getting out,if there was any,was now nonexistent.

You listened to the powerful, rumbling heartbeat,a heart full of power, emotions,and what you sensed it to be something far darker, like it wasn't him.

The fleeting, humbling moment passed and you went through a ring of muscle into the stomach.

You would have just listened to the heartbeat of the Axelia and waited quietly for what comes next,if not for your skin sizzling upon contact with the soft flesh of the walls.

You couldn’t get a single moment of rest,every second since the Axelia noticed you was pain upon pain, and now was the strongest of them,you wished that your mind would just shutdown so you won't feel yourself dissolving and melting.

“I'm sorry,I really am…”

The sounds of the body functions,the horrid darkness, the suffocating humid air,and the acids eating at you.

But before the end came,a force grabbed you into the blinding light of the sun again.

You thought yourself to have been digested,but instead you are held by The Axelia again. This time, however,his hand wasn't a cruel, squeezing fist,it was an open palm, perhaps from how brittle your body was after what happened, your bare flesh exposed to the air and sending you in more waves of pain.

The Axelia mutters a spell,and finally the pain was gone, your wings flutter, your skin grows back,you were good as new.

“There! All good! Like nothing happened!”

“Ax..elia?” You muttered in weakness. “Call me “Oweis”, okay? I don't like the title,” “I don't understand… you just killed me,but somehow I'm back?”

“Well that's because I regene_” “No no,I want to know why you changed your mind, why you suddenly decided that I'm a person.”

He shrugged. “I guess I felt bad for you? Like, you are a little bastard who was going to cut my hair and all,but not to the point where I would kill you, that's just cruel.”

“Cruel,huh?” your voice was filled with seething hatred.

“But you are all good now! So it's fine! You sweared to never ruin anyone's day again.”

“No,I sweared I won't do anything like that again,in that I won't be cutting your hair,but I can ruin your whole life in plenty of ways.”

Now fully regenerated,you focus your magic on taking you away from here, you may not be unable to do anything but you can absolutely tell someone else to do it.

And you know exactly who are you going to tell.

I like most of this ^-^ especially the bits about non-contradiction, clarity, and specificity.

It might be helpful to figure out "rules" around crossover/multifandom vore content too. I know some fandoms have established vore tags. Stuff like don't tag your g/t vore as just #g/t or #giant/tiny and the like cuz people in those tags are not looking for vore and we can make our own crossover tags like #g/t vore, #giant pred, #tiny prey, and the like.

I think #soft vore is a valid one though since some people don't like gore/biting/chewing but don't mind various forms of fatal. Could perhaps be replaced by "swallow whole" or something? It is definitely vague but as long as its not the sole tag, that should be OK (kinda like u shouldn't just tag something "reformation" because what happens to get to that point can vary widely)

I disagree that all non-oral is sexual/nsfw. There is absorption (like with a slime pred), pouch and other endosomas, and tail vore which can all be fairly clean/comfort and nonsexual. I also am personally not a fan of calling vore sfw because even if it is just extreme cuddling I wouldn't want it at work XD so I'd propose changing "nsfw" to 18+ (of course that implies minors never consume sexual content which just isn't true. Its not a great solution) or just straight up say sexual vore.

My only other comment would be dont feel awful if you don't perfectly follow the rules or find a valid case by case exception. For instance a story could involve multiple instances of vore, or a post could have multiple stories in it, so then conflicting tags may be appropriate for the post as a whole, with clarification within so people aren't going in blind and confused.

How about trying to get a uniform tag system for the v.ore community ?

I've seen a lot of conflict recently about the tag system on Tumblr: people getting upset, seeing things they don't like, arguing about the meaning of some tags... So I'm doing this post in an attempt to have everyone be on the same page, and hopefully from now on, everyone will be able to navigate through the tags with more ease and fun. There will be 2 sections: what I suggest / think about what all tags should mean, so we establish limits. No more confusion. The second section will include some rules I think would work pretty well for the community.

I am only suggesting all of these, please reblog and comment if a modification should be done to better fit the whole community. Please avoid personal interpretation and opinions, otherwise we will never get a standard. What I mean by that is, most people should agree with your modification for it to be applied.

Main Tags and what they can mean:

(Note: some of them are not commonly seen, and some I have never saw. Those to which I added three stars*** to them are basically suggestions to help clarify the tag system)

#Safe v.ore: safe noms. Soft cuddles. No death, no gore, no blood, no injuries. Just good gentle noms. Opposite: Fatal v.ore

#Fatal v.ore: Any vore that implies death, permadeath etc. Opposite: Safe v.ore

#Soft v.ore: could be safe or not. Doesn't imply any injuries caused by the pred by biting. Gooey digestion could go here. Cannot be the only tag.

Side note on this tag: I honestly think this tag should be removed and replaced with what they actually are. Is it fatal, reformation, gooey digestion, or safe ? The word is very vague and is the main source of conflict.

#open ended v.ore***: for posts that want to be neutral and allow the viewer to use their imagination to complete the story the creator made. Would avoid using opposite tags and expose people to content they do not like.

#reformation: Anything that implies the prey being digested and reformed, so it could be graphic or not.

Side note: this tag should be complemented with other tags since there is no way to determine the type of noms applying here.

#digestion: a vague tag mentionning that prey is digested here. Easy to block for people who don't like this at all.

#soft digestion, #gooey digestion, #safe digestion: For digestion that doesn't implies any gore, like magical digestion and prey turning into goop.

#hard vore: When the pred bites the prey or hurt them, creating injuries and potentially graphic gore / blood mention.

#hard digestion***, #graphic digestion: for fatal or very gorey reformation or fatal noms.

#fearplay v.ore: noms that imply fear, angst, or prey being terrified purposefully by the pred. Can be safe or not: this should be completed in other tags.

#protective pred / prey: characters that care about the wellbeing of their nom partner.

#Possessive pred / prey: characters that want all the attention of their nom partner or want to keep them for themselves.

#nsfw v.ore: a tag that should be added when there's anything sexual implied in the post. Includes all non-oral vore, even though each variant do get their own tags.

Rules:

Don't forget those are suggestions, and you can suggest edits if there is anything to add. People should agree with it beforehand though.

Rule 1: Please don't tag complete opposite sides of v.ore in the same post.

I stopped counting how many times I saw safe and fatal in the tags for ONE post. Please make up your mind. If it is open ended, then I suggest you use the #open ended v.ore tag.

Rule 2: Use more than one tag, be as precise as possible.

For example, using only the #reformation tag wouldn't allow people to filter out what they don't like. Use at least #safe, #fatal or #open ended along with the nature of the noms; protection ? Angst ? Is there gore or fearplay implied ? Is there some belly rubs ? I can't mention all the tags, but try not to be vague and simply using #soft v.ore when the prey clearly isn't safe / is terrified and there is some graphic digestion coming later in the story.

Rule 3: Don't try to make more notes by using all the tags.

This only makes people want to block you, since they might see things they are actually sensitive / triggered by. Please respect others and we will enjoy your content all the same. You will get a much better audience than if you tagged simply to have everyone see.

Rule 4: Create new tags if there is something very specific applied to your post.

If your post is on the limit of many other tags, don't use those. Create a new one that could get more popular or be blocked if people don't enjoy it. Don't put doubt in the main tags by adding "maybe ?" "or not" etc. This will avoid confusion and conflicts.

Aaaaand I think that's all I can think about at the moment. Please share your opinion in the reblogs and comments on this system, so we could make it perfect for this community. I didn't mention ALL the tags, only the main ones that are the most used and some suggestion of mine. Feel free to add yours in the comments !
