How do I stop my cat knocking things off of my counters and breaking things when she doesn't get what she wants (ie food or going outside at night.) She's broken about 100 dollars of high quality makeup this year and she's thrown my sewing needles all over my carpet before causing me to step on one. I refuse to hit her because I'm not an animal abuser, but I've tried yelling at her to get down when she climbs up, I've tried a spray bottle, I've tried physically removing her every time but nothing is working. She usually does this when she wants food outside of her feeding time or she wants to go outside in the middle of the night (I don't let her put at night because of owls, hawks, and she's dark and hard to see so I don't want her ran over.) I just need help cause nothing is working and she's done this all 10 years of angry life she's lived.
