The Looking Glass shook softly over its surface, as if a drop had fallen upon a peaceful lake. It won’t take long before a couple of Pixies would flutter out of the mirror, carrying several little trinkets & gifts of many types, shapes, materials & colors. Maybe all that was ‘similar’ among them, would be how the fae deemed them ‘Shinies’ & how many were shaped like roses. Earrings, pendants, necklaces, crystals, rings, hair ornaments, dress pins, a writing feather adorned with an amethyst rose, a book carried among a group of them, engraved with golden & obsidian roses…
Eventually, a table would have a pile of gifts and many happy tiny glowing ladies. Their crystal bell-like giggles full of mischief & glee, but also tender love… they after all consider her Family as much as they consider her Twin to be…
“My, my… seems like they all came before me—“
Emilia would smile from the other side of the glass before seamlessly trespass across the magic veil uniting their worlds. A smile upon her lips, as she would offer her a package containing some grimoires from her world. Arcane power may always be of use for both, she assumed maybe some details from other Realm may prove of utility, or at least, of entertainment~~
“Happy Birthday, my beloved Twin. May your days & nights only be Marvelous~”

Emilia had always known that the mirror held secrets—a portal to another world, one that mirrored her own but was distinct in mysterious ways. And today, she sensed it would offer something unique. Sure enough, the glass began to ripple, the surface undulating like water as it opened to reveal the universe on the other side, the place where her other self resided.
She greeted each pixie that fluttered through the portal with a warm smile, her desk soon buried beneath an ever-growing pile of little gifts, each trinket more whimsical than the last. Finally, her gaze met the reflection that crossed the shimmering threshold, her twin stepping forward with a familiar smile. Emilia opened her arms wide in welcome.
"You know," she began thoughtfully, "I don’t think I’ve ever asked this, but isn’t it our birthday in both worlds? It only seems right that we celebrate together. After all, our worlds wouldn’t be the same if we didn’t wield the quill that writes their stories!"
Emilia cast a loving glance at the gifts that had accumulated, especially the grimoires—tomes filled with precious knowledge, treasures she could never resist. She held one close, feeling its weight and meaning. “Thank you for these. Knowledge is a gift that will always suit my taste!”
Then, with a knowing smile, she gestured to the corner of the room. “But for you, my romantic twin, I’ve prepared something a little different.” There stood a life-sized painting, depicting Emilia and Caitlyn side by side in a lush, flowering garden—a place her twin would surely recognize as her own cherished Rosarium.
"I hope you like it," Emilia said, her eyes twinkling. “And, of course, I’ve arranged for cake and treats—enough for us, your pixie friends, and Veigar as well. If you’d like to stay, we could have a small celebration in honor of this special day.”
