Just finished She and Her Perfect Husband! Started it because of how obsessed @cdramastuff was watching it as it was airing and it seemed like a nice drama to watch whereby the main leads are all lovey-dovey in a play pretend fake marriage only to fall in love for real but I never expected it to hit HARD about marriage, sense of self worth, ambition, and what is essentially gifted kid syndrome, all of which packaged in 2 characters who are so similar yet so different and both of them are smartass persona who are cold on the outside but deep inside they are just traumatised individuals who were hurt and never got to properly heal but with them crossing paths they finally had not just the chance but also the courage to overcome their past trauma and take the step forward towards each other.

Their dialogues!!! I especially love their dialogues!!

This drama is easily one of my personal favourites of all time.

Synopsis :

Lawyer Qin Shi is focused on her career but is rushed into the marriage by her parents. The top law firm "Cheng and Hui" is recruiting lawyers specializing in family affairs, and one of the requirements is to be married. Qin Wen Yu, Qin Shi's second brother, secretly changed Qin Shi's marital status to "married" without her knowledge, creating a fictional husband for her. Not knowing anything, Qin Shi is employed by the firm.

Her outstanding performance earned the approval of the founder Lao Jin. During a gathering with partners, Lao Jin recommends Qin Shi to be the legal counsel for the Association of Women Entrepreneurs. It is only then Qin Shi realizes that she is purportedly married.

Qin Shi decides to clarify the situation to Lao Jin, but at this moment, her "husband", Yang Hua, appears. He's forced by his mother to come for a matchmaking session with Qin Shi's competitor. Feeling resentful over his mother's forceful actions, he forms an alliance with Qin Shi to benefit from the situation. They hit it off immediately and impulsively decide to register their marriage. However, both their parents sense something wrong with the situation.

Qin Shi's ex-boyfriend suddenly joins the law firm, and while facing numerous crises, Qin Shi and Yang Hua begin to have feelings for each other.

My thoughts on this drama :

I started this one based on the cast. I was curious to see Yang Mi in a modern drama. The story itself is nothing too interesting, but I like the dynamic older woman - younger man for once. She's an established lawyer vs a protected mamaboy. Though there was little chemistry between the actors, they did a pretty good job portraying their characters, it just was not believable enough.

Esse aqui foi o 1° cdrama que eu terminei e já comecei com o pé direito porque ele é um queridinho meu, um dos meus confort dramas, que eu sempre revisito minhas cenas favoritas, o que ajuda é ser romance moderno meu gênero favorito de drama, com o meu plot favorito (casamento por conveniência) E AINDA ser jie jie (mulher mais velha com cara mais novo) pra ser melhor só se tivesse um final melhor e não se perdesse pro meio 😩, mas isso não estragou minha experiência e nem fez com que deixasse de ser meu queridinho, principalmente porque tem o Yang Hua e ele é assim top melhores protagonistas masculinos namoraveis, juro!!!.

• Considerações

Um drama que tem o personagem chamando Yang Hua não tem como ser ruim. É sobre uma mulher com seus 34 anos que se vê em uma encruzilhada, para crescer na empresa de advocacia que ela dedicou e dedica ANOS de sua vida e experiência ela precisa ser casada para assumir esse cargo e pós um término de anos, ela não tem nem ficante, por querer muito essa promoção ela acaba indo atrás de arranjar alguém que se case com ela durante uns anos para conseguir esse emprego, e é aí que entra o Yang Hua, um jovem adulto de 28 anos formado em finanças, desempregado não aguenta mais seus pais, principalmente sua mãe falando em sua cabeça que precisa desesperadamente casar e ter filhos, mediante a proposta de Qin Shi ele vê uma saída e acaba aceitando. A princípio eles não iriam morar juntos, mas a mãe de Yang Hua como uma boa mãe de menino se que é me entendem 🤭😬 ficou em cima para ter certeza se de fato eles iriam casar ou se era só balela e eles tiveram que casar no civil, fazer festa E morar juntos, como o yang hua não trabalhava ele ficou como responsável pelos serviços domésticos e a Qin Shi por trabalhar e manter a casa e pagar as contas.

Foi divertido ver os papéis invertidos e ver um homem responsável por esses afazeres que em nenhum momento diminui seu papel e nem se sente menos masculino por isso, faz seu papel muito bem e ainda sem reclamar 🥹.

É lindo ver o amor florescendo entre os dois, yang hua poeta nato!! E a Qin Shi tentou ser forte no início mas não deu, ele era muito bonito e prestativo pra não querer namorar e eu não julgo ela!

Sobre o título do drama é bem isso mesmo, o yang hua é um gentleman perfeito! Ele zela pelo bem estar da qin shi acima até do seu próprio, sempre está lá por ela, e faz tudo isso porque gosta e porque quer a ver feliz, sem esperar nada em troca 🥹💕 e a Qin Shi é uma diva girl boss que não precisou descer do salto, conquistou tudo que ela tem com muita luta, suor e dedicação, que ama sua carreira e concilia amor e profissão com maestria.

Únicos pontos negativos é que são 40 episódios, então a história se perde no meio algumas vezes, seja por focar demais nos secundários que ninguém se importa, seja pra implementar ex do nada no enredo só para dizer que movimentou e o final apesar de doce, poderia ser melhor! Mas continuo amando esse drama 💗🫶🏽.
