About me: I’m Sam! Chances are I’m buzzed on coffee. I’m probably crying, reading or performing one of the seven deadly sins.

I have an English accent (I’m black British, not an actual Englishman) so get me to 200 followers and I’ll record myself saying things like “can I get a bottle of water” or “it’s Tuesday innit” (I reached 200 follower a while ago, this will happen very soon, just need to buy some marmite)

I like kpop and k dramas but I’m also in like almost every book fandom out there at this point. I also like coffee, knitting, reading and writing

PLEASE I would love to read your Spanish fics im still learning but it'd be so cool!

I feel pretty self conscious writing in Spanish, being honest. However, there's a lot that gets lost when I translate my writing from Spanish to English (I'm still unable to write directly on English for too long).

For example, there's a word in Spanish that's stands both for bank (the place you go get money from) and bench (like a type of chair). That word is banco and I can say stuff like:

Sentado en el banco de su corazón, se dio cuenta que aquel amor le había dejado en bancarrota.

That would translate to “sitting on the bench/bank of his heart, he realized that that love had left him broke”

BUT the word banco would mean equally bench and bank.

This is a poor example, but it's a funny way to communicate things because you can play a lot with words and metaphors. And well, I'm a metaphor addict being honest. I use them a lot, but it takes a lot much effort to write them in English.

Anyway, I have written in Spanish many of the things I've updated to my writing account. I'll made an AO3 compilation to upload them and I'll post the link over here. It'll only take some minutes 🌼💞
