Kain Highwind (FFIV) for his selfish friendzone bullshit and not having a single redeeming quality I can think of

Varian Wrynn (WoW) for being the worst plot-warping Gary Stu I have ever seen, for being designed specifically to make the Alliance feel better, and for a tragic backstory that combines improbable fridging bullshit with another character’s superior backstory

King Onyx (Odin Sphere) for being a fucking supercreep to Gwendolyn and trying to kill her husband

Kratos (GoW), for being the ambassador of all the bullshit I hate in video games and making me worry he was going to beat his son

Shahdee (Prince of Persia: Warrior Within) for being the OTHER ambassador of all the bullshit I hate in video games and the worst designed woman I’ve ever seen. The only person on this list whose name I had to look up.
