L'Atlético de Madrid est venu s'imposer sur la pelouse de l'AS Monaco (2-1), pendant que dans le groupe du PSG, Naples n'a pas pu l'emporter chez l'Etoile Rouge (0-0). La soirée européenne avait démarré très fort. Le FC Barcelone et Lionel Messi ont prouvé qu’ils étaient déjà plus qu’en forme avec cette victoire 4-0 contre le PSV, pendant que l’Inter a remonté un 0-1 pour s’imposer 2-1 face à Tottenham. On attendait forcément ce premier match de l’AS Monaco, qui accueillait l’Atlético de Madrid, deux équipes pas forcément en réussite dans leur championnat respectif. Leonardo Jardim devait composer avec les moyens du bord, avec beaucoup de blessures, et un milieu par exemple composé de Aholou, N’Doram et Tielemans. En face, pas de surprise si ce n’est la titularisation d’Angel Correa à la place de Thomas Lemar. Et ce sont les troupes du Cholo SImeone, en tribunes ce soir puisque toujours suspendus, qui ont pris le meilleur sur leur rival du soir. L’Atlético démarrait fort, avec Diego Costa qui était à deux doigts de trouver la faille sur cette frappe croisée (6e). Mais c’est bien le club du Rocher qui allait frapper en premier, via Grandsir, qui récupérait un ballon après un contre favorable et expédiait le cuir hors d’atteinte d’Oblak (1-0, 18e). 11. A Moment That Made You Cry: Ah, so many! Here is one I haven't told pretty much anyone before. I remember one of the last games of 14/15 was away at Arsenal. This was the height of De Gea transfer drama and it looked certain that he was going to leave by that point. And I was so bitter at him that for one brief moment I wished he got injured. I didn't mean it of course, I don't even want rivals to get injured let alone my favorite player but then he actually got injured for the first time in the season. So there I was on my bed a mess of emotions, crying because I felt super guilty, and wanting the best for Dave but also desperately wanting that that best thing would be United. (And that friends is where I trace my intense dislike of RM to).

Why majority of people in Turkey despise Arda Turan and why his presence in Barcelona is such a disgrace: a elaborative analysis

BUCKLE UP BECAUSE IMMA TALK SO MUCH ABOUT THAT MATTER I’M DEFINITELY IN NEED TO POUR MY HEART OUT REGARDING THE TOPIC.

He definitely has no sense of professionalism both on and off pitch. Especially since his transfer to Barcelona, his behavior during international call-ups can only be defined as repulsive. Not only he causes some sort of polarization during NT camps, last summer, he also attacked a reporter as well.

That said reporter is a 62 year-old man with a highly respected reputation in Turkish media. After that scandal, Arda held a press conference and all the press members left the room when he started talking in order to protest his behavior towards their colleagues. He ended up giving his speech to only his teammates. (the exact moment can be seen below)

After that scandal, he said he’s retiring from the national team. But we all know that this is just temporaliy, because in the past he left the NT on multiple occasions. AND HE JUST CAME BACK ONCE AGAIN FOR THE LATEST IB. 

Since Fatih Terim (the previous manager of Turkey NT during all that media scandal) left the NT after recent defeats and his own scandals (god, this NT is such a mess why isn’t there a normal person in there????), the new manager Mircea Lucescu called Arda up for Turkey’s WC qualifiers against Ukraine and Croatia.

Turkey ended up losing the game v Ukraine and managed to win v Croatia barely. The win had nothing to do with Arda, in fact, the winning goal scored after he was substituted by the youngster Emre Mor. 

OH SPEAKING OF EMRE MOR, Arda actually thinks that he is a role model for Turkey’s new generations in football. He actually believes that he’s making history because apparently sitting on Barca’s bench for the majority of a season is such an important thing that to do. NEWS FLASH: IT’S NOT. 

He constantly repeats himself as “I’M THE GREATEST VALUE TURKEY HAS EVER HAD” what???? which Turkey is that??? I definitely don’t have a value like that thank you very much!!!

After Barca’s historical remontada, he talked to the Turkish media for like 15 days about it. If a person who didn’t watch the game and only listened to him during that awful 15 days, they could actually believe that Arda scored the winning goal and not my little baby Sergi.

DUDE YOU LOST THE BALL DURING THE LAST ATTACK AND TER STEGEN SAVED YOUR ASS WHO ARE YOU KIDDING???

Actually whenever he gets called up to the NT I only worry for the younger players because he’s such a bad example. Emre Mor, Enes Unal, Cengiz Under etc. are the only reason I have tiny bits of hope for the Turkish NT and the presence of Arda and his squad is terrible for them. 

SPEAKING OF HIS SQUAD, his dear friends Burak Yilmaz (now plays for Trabzonspor, but him and Arda used to play for Galatasaray at the same time) and Selcuk Inan are no different than him. After the EURO2016, the trio was banned from the NT by the manager Terim. GOD HOW I WISH THEY WOULD STAY BANNED THE IB’S WOULD BE SO BETTER WITHOUT THEM.

That trio is also so irritating in many ways they always speak about each other like “ARDA IS THE MAN, HE’S THE MOST HONOROUBLE MAN”, “BURAK IS THE MANNEST MAN EVER”, “WE’RE THE DEFINITON OF BEING MAN” it’s disgusting.

Also, the latest cause of the irritation towards Arda is because of his dear friend Selcuk Inan. Selcuk still plays for Galatasaray but because of the recent transfers he isn’t getting to play much and the fans were mad at Selcuk. SO WHAT DID ARDA DO? HE POSTED A LONG ASS MESSAGE ABOUT HIS BFF ON INSTAGRAM it was like “he’s the man he doesn’t deserve this he’s the definition of man” (post below)

Also he’s such an ass-kisser he’s practically licking the current government’s boots because he wants to stay as the captain of NT.

He’s on my shitlist to post a video in which he says “I’m voting yes to the presidential referandum because blablabla”

I’M NOT GONNA JUDGE HIM FOR HIS POLITICAL PREFERENCES BUT IT’S SO OBVIOUS THAT HE’S DOING IT FOR HIS PERSONAL GAIN!

Ok, back to football: Since his transfer to Barcelona, his contribution to the team was barely minimum. It’s just not only because he lacks talent or anything, but simply because HE’S LAZY AND UNFOCUSED. 

His repulsive squad is always at his place @ barcelona EVERY SINGLE SPORTS AUTHORITY IN TURKEY TOLD ARDA NOT TO BE INCLUDED IN HIS CONNECTIONS IN TURKEY THIS MUCH.

He doesn’t deserve even 10 euros for his performance idk how Lucho managed to not to throw him off from the roof of Camp Nou.

LONG STORY SHORT: WE DON’T LIKE HIM. I may be a Fenerbahce fan since I was a baby (the rival team of Galatasaray) and my opinion may seem a bit biased, but I’m a Cule more than I’m a Fenerbahce fan. And I personally don’t think Arda deserves a place in our squad. IMO, Barcelona should be a team where its fundamental values are appreciated and applied throughly (even though the current board is shit at it) , and Arda is just the least appropriate person to have with those values. Today is the last day of the transfer window in Turkey and it’s still not certain whether he’ll be loaned to Galatasaray for 2 years or not. If Galatasaray won’t have him, idk who’ll in this point.

Why I wrote that long-ass text? Because I’M JUST ANGRY AT HIS EXISTENCE IN GENERAL. Thanks to the IB, I spent the last 10 days seeing his annoying face and that shit eating grin in every channel on TV, in every news portal, in every billboard... PEOPLE STOPPED SUPPORTING THE NATIONAL TEAM BECAUSE OF HIM AND HIS SQUAD FOR GOD’S SAKE I’M MAD. AND I WANTED TO SHARE MY ANGER SO WE CAN ALL BE ANGRY WITH HIM TOGETHER.
