eid mubarak to everyone, especially those in Palestine. you have gone through the most and Allah will reward you and it must be tough but please, hold on a bit longer for you shall have your Eid celebrations soon.
idk if anyone needs it but it is perfectly fine if you don't feel all that excited for eid celebration, if you're in a bad environment that you feel trapped and can't enjoy yourself, or suffering from the overwhelming conditions of interacting with people or the sensory overload of fireworks and the general hectic situation. or for any reason. You are not a bad person or 'spoiling other people's fun', you deserve to celebrate and appreciate Eid in your own comfort and you are not obligated to force yourself into the situation. no matter if people think otherwise.
I'm just basing it out of my own experience and culture. Meeting with relatives (especially ones always questioning and commenting) and preparing for Eid and all that can be very draining. While this post serves no help in solving the whole situation, I just hope people don't feel bad if they are incapable of enjoying in a way people around them are pushing them to. Some people can be so unforgiving when it comes to culture, which in turn kinda defeats he purpose of Eid itself. You deserve the victory and celebration, so let's be more caring and compassionate towards each other and ourselves. Jazakallahu khairan.
