Me, a person who spent 90 minutes at a book sale yesterday frequently squatting down to look at the books still in boxes under the tables: weird, why are my thighs so achy and sore while walking today??

#btw i was a very restrained person who only bought 4 things and kind of feels like I COULD have bought none #Sand Dune Pony (it's been stalking me for years; am honestly not THAT interested but finally gave in for one in good condition)#The Fate of Mercy Alban (another holdout for years except I love this one; and it was in perf condition)#Texts From Jane Eyre which I REALLY love specifically as an audiobook but also kind of wanted in hard copy to mark fave quotes #and The Storied Life of A.J. Fikrey because it was in perf condition and I thought a Target Book Club edition might have extra stuff #also I swore a quiet blue streak upon finding Gentleman Jim (in great condition) which I JUST bought from Half Price for $7+ a month ago #the copy here was ex-library but you know what? so was the HPB one (stickers had been removed but I still needed to clean the residue)#and the copy here was $1 with no extra tax
