2016 Snapshots

I went through my laptop and browsed through a series of photos that I have per year. Whenever my phone gets too full (too cheap to buy cloud memory), I upload the meaningful ones on my laptop.

So here are some snapshots from 2016 when I was still working in Japan.

I used a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge that time when taking these photos and the quality is really nice.

I'm planning on getting the S23+ this year and the reviews on the phone are quite convincing. Finger-crossed that I can get my hands on it.

my tumblr app has been broken for a few weeks now, so, unless I'm at my computer, the only features I have access to are my direct messages & activity page - I can view, but not click through to anything - and the For You tab. and. dear god. having never used the For You feature before, it *sucks* why would anyone ever use algorithms on purpose?? there's no control, you rarely see your friends, you pause for a nanosecond too long to parse what a post is about before realizing it's meta for some show you don't care about but- TOO LATE now half the posts you see are about that show! posts on topics you ARE interested in get increasingly incendiary & upsetting as the algorithm pulls in more and more from blogs you would never follow in your life! if people are out there using this thing regularly, I'm starting to understand where half of the rising kicked-wasp-nest feel of this site is coming from. get out of there!
