rant about k-pop fanfiction in general.
Nothing in this post is going to be as serious as my last one, it’s just a couple of petty things I personally like / don’t like when I’m scrolling through tags, hehe. + lots of emojis and memes.
When the smut isn’t tagged properly
What I mean by when smut isn’t tagged properly is that, sometimes writers, instead of telling you what’s in the actual work, they’ll simply put: “This is (insert xyz) we’re talking about! That should be warning enough.” And it pisses me off to an irrational degree, and I’ve blocked people because of it, I’m not sorry.
When writers use korean girls as a faceclaim for their fanfiction / use korean titles
I don’t know what it is, but whenever I read a fanfiction where the author uses a korean girl, or another female idol as a face claim, I just can’t read it, because girlie, I am tall; brown-skin; black curly hair; I look nothing like that member of new jeans. Trust. 🤣
Now, the only time I understand the use of other korean customs is in fanfictions where the reader themselves is an idol. Other than that, it lowkey cringes me out when I’m reading something and it says ‘Hyung.’ 😖
One the flip side, I do love when the writer openly admits what I’m about to read is just a self-insert. It makes me giggle. 🤭🤭🤭
Random thoughts
I’m super picky about what I read. And when I’m scrolling through tags and half of what I see is just smut, I die a little inside. I don’t want to know how Jay’s [redacted] tastes, I want to know the flavor of ice cream I’m eating when me and Sunoo go on a cute little date! 😭😭
Or you could have the prettiest post I’ve ever seen in my life, with every damn trope I love, but you use a period instead of a question mark when writing. Ex: “(Random sentence), do you.” Taking in a deep sigh before I force my hands through my screen and violently shake the writer’s shoulders. 😮
Me, because half the Enhypen fandom is over 21 and (rightfully) don’t write for Riki because he’s only 18: 😩🥲🫠😓😿😾🤬
Me, because half of the Enhypen fandom only writes for Heeseung, Jay, Jake, or Sunghoon: 😩🥲🫠😓😿😾🤬
When I’m reading an smau or texts and the author makes the members call the reader cringey pet names:
*Cough* Good girl *Cough*
Also, what’s up with all the school AU’s? Half of these idols couldn’t even tell you what an adverb is. 😅
I don’t believe in ‘situationships.’ You are either together or friends. You’re dumb as fuck if you think just talking to someone means you’re exclusive. People need to just drop that word, because holy shit is pisses me off when I read it. 😭
When writers use manga panels when writing smut and one of them says ‘onii-chan’: 🤢🤮
When I look up a group I like and see incest:
If you like incest just know I think you’re god damn disgusting. ‘B- but it’s not real-!🥺” We as humans are genetically wired to find our relatives unattractive. Shut the fuck up and admit you’re just a weirdo who’s so god damn desperate to have sex you’d fuck someone who came out the same vagina and ballsack you did. Nasty-ass, I wouldn’t touch your stank self with a twenty-foot pole.
EDITS: October 31st.
Me when someone writes about readers with a fuller figure / chubby body, and they keep saying ‘soft’ — ‘more of you to hold’ — ‘cuddly’:
I block. Because I know damn well half of y’all writing that shit ain’t got that body. It’s overused. It’s boring. It’s weird. It’s simply not the compliment you think it is.
EDITS: November 3rd.
Me when writers use art that doesn’t belong to them, and it took me a literal five seconds to find the artist with a reverse search on google:
And half the time these is the same fuckers saying “Don’t repost my work, please!!😛🥰🥺” Then don’t fucking use someone else’s without credit or permission. Like damn, you can’t say one thing, and then immediately do it the next. These hypocrites also get blocked by me.
— Have a nice day everyone. ❤️

Would it be weird to ask how you plan out your embroidery designs? If not weird and you have the time/spoons do you have any tips?
Oh no worries, I am the OP! @handmadehazefromtheheart is my craft account. ^w^ You were referring to this post, right?
Asking isn't weird at all btw. I like questions. :3 Though I dunno if my answer will be the most helpful, since I'm still pretty experimental with my embroidery.
For the brain, I literally just doodled onto the fabric with a water soluble pen.
For the latest piece before that, I traced the outline + important features of a picture I had of my girlfriend by holding fabric pinned in a hoop up to my laptop screen. Then I flipped the fabric around in the hoop so it was right ways up. I did the same with her music logo, which I made for her birthday this year.
Mostly, though, I've been actually drawing out patterns on paper.
I trace them onto the fabric using a white screen behind it. (I literally just Google "white" and open an image full screen.)
Getting the colors right is hard, but I'm getting the hang of it I think.
For the brain, I decided as I went which sections would be which shade of teal on the fly.
For the portrait, I gathered various shades of coral (the color of the InfiniTints prompt it was for) and then separated them into groups based on where I thought each shade would work best. I had a hair pile and a skin pile, and in each pile I determined which would be used for lighter areas and darker areas based on the picture I was using.
For the In Decay logo, I did pretty much the same thing but with whites and greys, though I haven't shown off the full thing yet. (I'm going to do that in a special way. :3c Stay tuned.) The mouse had the same process. The mouse was actually the first one I did it like that for, and I love how it turned out—and the fact that a duplicate made as a commission came out so nice after.
You can kind of see on the clover pic above that I actually labeled it for where I wanted which shades of green. I should probably do that more.
I've mostly been working with long and short stitch, but working on this pre-made kit has helped me get a sense of how to use different kinds of stitches together.
So far, the brain is the most deliberate in terms of different stitches.
[ID: A two second video showing off the embroidered result of the brain sketch near the top of the post. It's mostly satin stitch, but the outlines are all stem stitches, and there are French knots in some places next to backstitches and split stitches that swirl. /end ID]
I'd say I've improved a lot from my first attempt last year:
Oh... I got away from myself writing that out, didn't I? I hope you got what you were asking for out of it! 😅
#crafts#asks#embroidery#hand embroidery#fjskjfjd I rambled so hard there I dissociated after writing it I'm fine tho thanks for the ask#This was fun to go over

Charm is subjective bt i dnt find it to b a requirement. I find JDW to b charming (i liked his n Zs off screen chemistry, he seems goofy lmao) and Austin to nt really b that charming (bt he seems nice n is talented) lmao bt ik u n sum others might disagree 😅 if they seem cool, i lik their vibe and/or their talented then i can become a fan
And i think sum ppl r just great storytellerers lol Tom def is and thats apaprt of what makes him charming n a great interviewee. On the flip side i find Timmy/Z to b charming too, bt i dmt think their really known for their interview skills
Yea, I think you're right anon. I think charm can definitely be subjective. One man's "charming" can be another man's "boring" I suppose ROTFL!!! 🤣
For me personally? I don't NEED my favorite actors to be "charming" tbh. As long as they're kind, respectful, talented, and seem like good people, I really don't need all of my favorite actors to all have the same personality or be a certain way. But that's just me. 🤷🏾♀️
I've just noticed lately this seemingly undue focus on "charm" or "rizz" and I'm likeeee..... Ummm...they're just actors lol. They're not your personal entertainment buddies or comedians. Goodness. 🙄 I'm not just talking about Twitter either. I've even seen that comment here in my inbox.
Yea, it's great if an actor can be charismatic like Tom Cruise or Tom Holland, but it's not a requirement for me personally. In fact, it would be kind of weird to me if all actors acted the same in interviews. JMHO. I'm fine with actors just being themselves?? 🤷🏾♀️
RE: JDW...
That's funny, because "charming" is not the word I would use to describe JDW right off the bat (I've seen him in a few interviews lol), but you might be seeing something I'm just not seeing Anon lol. Maybe you'll need to send me some other interviews of his for me to see what you're seeing lol. To me, John Boyega is REALLY charming and charismatic off-camera, but then again, I kind of feel like most British men are?? lol. 😅
RE: Austin...
I actually think Austin is very charming as well...but not in an in-your-face, loud type of way. I feel like Austin is more stealthily charming (lol) in that you will be listening to him talk, and then all of a sudden you're like..."oh wait a second....I was not familiar with your game!" LOL! 😅
Austin has women AND men flustered by him in interviews chiiiiilllleee lol.... It's actually pretty funny lol. 😅 So I kinda think he's actually more charming than you give him credit for lol. He just seems very easy to talk to and like he doesn't have a "celebrity" persona at all. Like he's just a regular guy. So I def think he's very charming, he's just more low-key about it hahaha.
RE: Tom & Timmy...
Timmy and Tom are definitely charming in more obvious ways imo. Like I said before, I think there are various ways someone can be charming. 😅 Tom is a GREAT storyteller and has you hanging on to his evey word just by the way he tells a story, even if it's not all that interesting ROTFL! 🤣He just has a really good knack for that, and is very charismatic and charming. Timmy too! Timmy is charming also, but maybe in a slightly different way from Tom.
I think some people view "charming" as maybe "lively", "Funny" and "outgoing", but I actually view someone charming as someone who you just smile when you hear them speak, and you just feel like you could talk with that person and want to hang out with them and you'd feel comfortable with them. You know what I mean? Like, some people just give off that energy. It's not about being fake or phony, or putting on a persona. And you don't have to be outgoing or a comedian in order to be "charming" imo. I just think of it as someone who's pleasant to be around?
RE: Z....
I think her interviewing skills are just fine??🥴 See, this is what I mean by this hyper-focus on "rizz" and "charm", to the point where now, people just being "NORMAL" in interviews is now considered not all that great?? Like, huh???😵💫
I don't get it honestly. I really don't lol. Z is very charming and sweet in interviews imo! She's' just not loud and in your face, and that's okay!
