I wish to know your side order ideas :)
i'm so sorry. im procrastinating so hard and i just latched onto this.
ok so i think the mission is going to be to save marina. she's either been brainwashed or unleashed something (probably coral or black ink-- more on that later) and got seperated from eight and pearl. eight and pearl are probably going to be the ones to save her (with maybe an appearance by marie cause of that one screenshot with maybe her leg). they're probably going to have to stop a ancient creature (dinosaur?) as the final boss.
so as far as marina being semi absent (def not completely cause i doubt nintendo is that stupid) is because when you pause the trailer at the right time, there is a colorful shot where marina is looking out to the distance surprised. the first thing to notice here is that the picture is like, full of color, something you don't see in many other trailer shots, which shows that she's not in the same place as eight (or the possible new agent) is. also, she's surprised. i think this is either hinting at a possible brainwashing (it would be expected with the amount of times its happened, but likely enough) or she did an oopsie and unleashed the final boss. i think it's more likely she accidently unlocked something because as i mentioned with what the boss will probably be, it seems ancient. something ancient probably isn't going to brainwash her because the two times we've seen brainwashing in this series are with technology. something that may be before splatoon modern era tech likely wouldn't brainwash her. or, nintendo could break these ideas and just go with it, because they can do what they want. just a thought about why they probably wouldn't. finally, as far as the marina picture, there's a weird kind of... barcode? watermark? thing on the bottom. it's kind of glitchy and distorted, which makes me think it's going to be a brainwashing thing, but also it makes sense for her unleashing something.
as for pearl being the mentor character in the story, the picture of her has the perspective of looking up. and, no offence to pearl, but for her to be literally looking down on someone, they probably have to be laying down. i'm assuming this person is eight because the background looks exactly like the place that the trailer mainly shows. marie might be another mentor character because of the one shot with her leg in the elevator, but still, i think pearl will be the main one.
and as far as the villian, i think it'll be some kind of ancient/dino/coral villian. as far as the coral goes, it's pretty obvious if you've seen any theory videos on this trailer-- the entire place has a bleached coral vibe. the trees in the square look like dead coral, there's a brain (representing brain coral), and the entire place is bleached white. as far as the ancient part, my friend actually found this. if you go frame by frame on youtube (pressing the < or > keys on a computer; i didn't know this before he told me lmao) you can see a skeleton/bone creature. and we were looking for matches, and we found one!! literally, a wiki page!! for a creature (probably, i'm not an expert) alive when dinosaurs were!! so either it is a dinosaur, or has the themes and ancientness of one. because this was a more aquatic animal, it fits with the splatoon themes. also, this creature had a very evil vibe (if you've played fire emblem 3h, think sylvain's crest spear (cant remember the name rn) cause that was the first thought i had when i saw this thing). and, because it seemed so ancient (and has a literal glowing red eye where there should be a socket-- no totk trailer vibes here lmao) i think it's not something that was created by anyone or just another villian like mr grizz-- but something marina unlocks.
thank you for coming to my tedtalk lmao. im totally not procrastinating my annotated bib, noo thats someone else

It’s Analogical Week Dudes!
Hey, I was behind a day, so here’s Day Four: AU
Tags: MHA AU, Virgil and Logan both have quirks, blood mentions, angst, more explanations in the notes.
Notes: So there’s this TikTok user Lusicca who has a OC for MHA that is wonderfully interesting and so I based Logan’s quirk off of the OC’s. Here’s an explanation video to her OC’s quirk. Logan’s Quirk upgrade makes it so he can use the blood to infect and control minds instead of making it so he can infect people through others. Takes place before the fall of the League or something, I read the Wiki page for MHA because I’ve never seen the anime.
AO3
@analogicalweek sorry for being a day late:)
“I can’t control them.” Logan said sadly.
They were sitting cross legged on Logan’s bed in the dorms, Virgil still in a prototype of his hero costume, stitching at his normal hoodie.
“Control what?”
“Quirk.”
Virgil looked up, eyes widening. “You have one? I thought you were here because your dad is a teacher.”
Logan shook his head and rubbed at his bandaged arms. “My quirk is a dirty one, they keep giving me blood transfusions and cleansing to try to make it so I can’t use it.”
Virgil looked up, eyes flaming. “I swear if they called you a villain…”
“Why do you think that they roomed me with you? We’re the highest chance of turning into villains.” Logan looked at Virgil and shrugged. “You can control people by grabbing their shadows, I can infect people with my blood and control them.”
“You can what?” Virgil shifted uneasily and Logan felt his heart jump into his throat.
“I can...control blood if I put mine into someone else's? They called it a blood virus.”
“Well that’s not very nice of them. Is that why your arms are always wrapped? They hiding the IV scars?”
Logan blinked. “Yes.”
Virgil squared his shoulders and got off the bed, holding a hand out to Logan. “Infect me.”
“What?!?! NO!”
“How else are you going to practice?” Virgil tilted his head up. “If you say no Imma kidnap you and we’ll go be villians with all the cool guys.”
“Virgil, they’re dirt poor and we’re teens.” Logan rolled his eyes but extended a hand, letting blood seep out of his pointer finger. “But practicing does sound nice. Even though I have to go get a transfusion tomorrow.”
“Little practice is better than none.”
…
One year later.
“Wake up, Virgil.” Logan muttered desperately, his roommate stirring and blinking up at him blearily.
“Wha?” “We need to go.” Logan muttered and in the low light, Virgil could see that Logan was bleeding from several points in his arms and one of his blue eyes was glowing brightly.
He’d broken out and infected someone.
Virgil sat up, instantly awake. “What happened?”
“They’re going to kill you because of your quirk mutate. And me for being me, but if we leave no, we can gain asylum in the League of Villains.” Logan looked back at the door and when he looked back at Virgil, his eye wasn’t glowing anymore. “Shit, it wore off.”
Virgil rolled out of bed and stood, grabbing his backpack and grabbing Logan’s hand. “Infect me and do what you need to do to get us out of here.”
“I can’t. We need your voiding to get out of here.”
“And I don’t know where we need to void, so infect me to get us out of here. Use your powers to enhance mine.”
Logan blinked. “You trust me that much?” There was a scream from outside.
“Of course I do.” Virgil smiled and squeezed Logan’s hand. “I trust you with my mind and my blood.”
“Okay.”
He let himself infect Virgil and after a moment, his eye lit up. Logan guided Virgil to pull them back into the shadows right as their dorm door slammed open, flashlights attempting to stop them, but they were gone, after all-
Virgil was a master of shadow.
…
Logan got them out to a side alley about three blocks from where he assumed where the League was. Once they were both sitting on the ground, Logan let go of his hold over Virgil and leaned against the wall.
“God. I’m exhausted.”
Virgil blinked at him, smiling softly. “Same. Look at us, villains to be.”
“I’m still not happy about it, but grouping is safer than having to try to stick it out together and alone.”
“And you told me that Tomura’s cute, so clearly that helped in your decision.” Virgil teased.
Logan felt his face heat up. “I’d rather kiss you.”
“Oh?” Virgil sat up and turned to Logan. “No balls you’ll do it.”
Which is how Logan ended up grabbing the front of Virgil’s sleep hoodie and kissing him hard on the lips.
“There.” Logan pulled back after a moment. “Let’s go become villains.”

ABOUT THE DORK
(pregnancy, violence tw)
so let’s bring it all the way back to when she was born since that’s a good place to start. now she’s not a spin on valeria or franklin in any shape or form, but to honor the o.g. marvel family i decided to base the birth on the comics a bit (subject to change if sue or reed is brought in and they’d prefer not to). so in the comics, it was hard for sue to give birth because her “cosmic-irradiated physiology” but she still managed to give birth to her first child (judy’s older sibling) through an adventure to the negative zone to borrow some sort of control rod. when it turned out sue was pregnant again there was a growing fear in the parents. the first pregnancy had been really challenging and going through it again would be worse.
in a way it was because this pregnancy led to some issues to the baby and mother alike. judith had many scares while in the womb, but luckily none were permanent enough to truly bother judy once she was born in some underground facility with technology even she has yet to grasp.
once judy had finally gotten home, things were a bit odd. her uncle caught on fire, her mother went invisible, and her father could cook and keep an eye on her in her crib at the same time. not to mention her own sibling had been tested and would be on the way to join them. she, as it would turn out, would not ever get on her way there and that was what was so strange. her whole family could do these amazing things, but growing up all she could do was watch from the tv or the spaceship or wherever they were keeping her safe. even her sibling got to go with them.
when judy was nine and watching her parents fight somebody she knew was trouble on the news, an ad popped up on the screen for comics of her very own parents. her eyes flicked over those and she snuck out of the house to buy an issue, changing her life forever.
she started teaching herself how to draw in ink and make it look like the books she was reading and soon enough started writing random ones based off of what her family and their friends would tell her. they started off really rough (ask uncle ben), but when she got old enough to start really working on them, she would be able to publish them.
but that’s getting ahead of myself a bit. back to when she was still in her preteens. one day when she was supposed to be following the routine, she had decided to go with her family off earth. it wasn’t fair that her sibling got to go so she decided to stow away on board the ship. it was fairly easy, she had her pen and sketch pad to keep her busy along with various snacks, but when the ship stopped she started to hear cries from her family and decided to spring into action. she ran out from the supply closet and ran outside without thinking of grabbing anything. when she did it was chaos. different species of beings all fighting eachother, guns going off, civilians running away- she didn’t know where any “good” guys were. that was until one of them were waving for her to run before everything went dark.
the next thing she remembers from that chunk of days was being told she wouldn’t be able to walk again, but she’d be alive.
since then she’d still dream of fighting the badguys with the FF or somehow being a mutant to, but she realized that just wasn’t in the cards for her.
she lived a pretty normal life from there, minus her family traveling a lot and the constant business trips she couldn’t attend. she graduated highschool at sixteen and started traveling the world and learning more about heroes. she’d learn as much as she could and basically write biographies for the stories she’d find most significant for the world to know.
in the past few months, her job had been getting a lot harder. things are more tense than before and that was when her father called her and suggested she move to paragon in case something bad happens with the changes. she hesitated, but after learning of the school and who all lives there already, she rented herself a nice apartment and moved in on may 7, 2018.
now she’s kind of chilling in town and lowkey writing what she sees, there’s plenty of drafts in her apartment but nobody can see them.
now onto the stuff that isn’t backstory! so in the future she’s going to find out she can manipulate ink and if you don’t quite get what that’d be about, superhero wiki defines it as the power where the “user can create, shape and manipulate ink, including moving ink, change the color, consistency/viscosity between solid and liquid, etc., even if the ink is printed/written/tattooed. they can write/scribe/tattoo without tools by manipulating ink.” she’ll be limited to what’s around her, but as she comes into her powers she’ll find some ways to make it more than a gimick because i’m sure the moment she does something with it, she’s going to be trying to fight crime or something since that’d still be the first thing she’d like to do. i think maybe down the line it could lead to her more broadly figuring out how to control carbon black on things like wires (engineering made easier) and such and even go broader with things with carbon since carbon black is an ink made out of it. this could be things like plants, wood, plastics. it’d take her honing the skills but practically everything can come from things ink is from and i can make it all sciencey. also i’d like to say another issue is that she wouldn’t quite mess with tattoo ink from the start since it’s iron oxides/metal salts/plastics (though the later she'd try) and it’s not necessarily very ordinary ink. that could lead to sciency stuff too. maybe she’ll be able to delve into that and then also animal ink? i don’t think i’d go that far but like squids have ink made of melanin so can she lift non-inked mammals too? i’m not sure, i think i’ll stick to natural things and skip the biological ones unless i feel silly so we’ll see.
personality wise? judy is a very bright young lady with a longing to protect people. she wants to be the hero but she has been content just admiring them from afar. she’s probably overly hyped and incessantly talking, but she is an easily excitable person. she does things without thinking them through all the way and while she is book smart, she’ll eat out of your palm when it comes to lying to her or teasing her. she believes it all because, to be honest, she’s almost seen it all. she believes in the good of people and thinks villians aren’t just villians (she has arguments in defense for the wicked witch, scar, and at least half of the supervillians she’s attempted to learn about).
oh yeah, she identifies as lesbian (though has had feelings for men once in a blue moon, kind of biromantic but she doesn’t identify with it) both romantically and sexually. she hasn’t really come out yet, but she doesn’t hide it. she just hasn’t really dated more than a person or two to give herself a reason to.
more to be added
WANTED CONNECTIONS
someone she tutors
maybe a superhero she’s highkey a fan of
a human who works with her
definitely a best friend/someone she’s known her whole life, this person would either be a kid of a family friend or someone who lived in new york and happened to go to the same elementary school
bad influence

Allen’s Rambling XX: Writing About Cute Girls is Hard! (Violaceous Storm)
I’ll be doing two Ramblings straight today as well a work on the notes on Panda Academy, and these bad boys usually take at least an hour per post so... wish me luck folks, I’ll need it. -_-;;
Moving on, around the beginning of April I started to write my own original story called Violaceous Storm. And... well, here’s the plot synopsis I wrote on Fictionpress:
Reyna-Mei Song is a student Panda Martial Arts Academy for Girls, known for having two rival branches, the Sapphires and the Crimsons. She has a fierce, violent rivalry with a Crimson girl, Kyo-Annie Mushi. Due to their constant fighting they are forced to live together in the Violaceous Dorms to either get along or die trying. Literally.
It’s... not the best summary ever, but I’ll be tweaking it a bit after this Rambling. So yeah, it’s basically the adventures of a cute kung fu girl and all the fun times and hard fights she goes through. I figured since I talk so much about how much I love cute girls that beat up people with their fists I should make a story about it. I mean, anime rarely sticks in cute fighter girls without throwing them away somewhere, or just making them villians and side characters. And while fighting games have an abundance of cute fighter girls, they also have HORRIBLE STORIES AND POORLY WRITTEN CHARACTER ARCS THAT MAKE NO GODDAMN SENSE. I figured I should do a favor to the lovers of cute fighter girls everywhere and make my own story about one. After all, what better way to my money where my mouth is than actually writing a story about what I love.
And my oh my, writing is hard.
I knew writing stories was hard, my fanfic isn’t exactly Shakespeare, but I think it’s decently written. But... writing an original story and writing a fanfic are two very different things. With Reversal Princess there’s already an established world and lore that people can easily learn about on a wiki page, and the characters are clearly defined in their personality and behavior. Meanwhile, with an original story and world setting I’m the one that has to define all of that, which is a lot harder than I originally thought. There truly is a different between critiquing stories, and actually writing them yourself. I’m realizing some critical flaws I made already when writing my story. The summary, as you can clearly see, is not well written nor does it tell you much about the plot overall. After reading the first chapter I realized how much it felt like a script to an anime episode (and cheesy light novel adapted anime episode at that) and not as fluid as an actual book. A good portion of chapter 2 could had been cut completely since it was a pathetic excuse for an exposition dump to show the major areas of the setting when I could had easily just shown and mentioned those places when needed and not limited myself in terms of resources now that the setting has been, well, set. And the latest chapter, chapter 3, is... actually no, chapter 3 is okay, but... it’s just okay. Sweet Lord Jesus in Heaven, it’s only chapter 3 and I want to scrap this story and redo it.
I want to, however...
I did just that with Azure last year, and I refuse to be a little bitch and cop out again just because I made a few mistakes. When I started writing Azure I had no outline or idea of what to write whatsoever, nor did I know how I was going to end it. With Violaceous Storm I at least know how I want it to end and what kind of stuff I want to happen in the middle. I’m not going into this one without a plan at least. No, I started this story, and I’ve made a few holes, but I’m gonna’ damn well fill them.
So yeah, this is going to stay and I’m dead set on finish it. Like Reversal Princess I’ll be updating it monthly, maybe a bit more since I value original work over the fanfic. But there you have it, a Rambling of my original story. I’ll stick links for it in a bit, so please check it out if you want to read a story about cute kung fu girls. Favorite it, follow it, review, pick it apart, tear it to shreds and call me a hack writer, do whatever you want, I can’t really stop you after all.
Oh, and I’ll be drawing some of the characters and post them from time to time, so... look out for that.

The Bare Bones:
Moon Knight Vol.8 , issue #7 – “ Incarnations: Part 2 of 4”
Marc Spector and Frenchie find themselves in the midst of an all-out intergalactic war with the Space Wolves. Earth has completely fallen, and so the remaining humans who have fled to the moon make one last stand against the wolf onslaught. During the battle, Marc and Frenchie spot General Lupinar (the leader of the Space Wolves) and decide to engage. In the ensuing battle, the Space Wolves Command Ship appears and as Marc focuses his attention onto General Lupinar, he is struck by a jarring otherworldly sensation. For a brief second he assumes the role of Jake Lockley and confused, both Marc and his Jake persona are confronted with a collision of sorts. The Moon Knight One jet crashes onto the surface of the moon and as Marc gingerly staggers out, they are not without casualty. Frenchie is dead, but what is more perplexing is that the Moon Jet is now a taxi cab! Instantaneously, Marc becomes Jake again, and as he still struggles to gain composure after the crash, he spots Gena’s Diner and makes his way there. Again, Jake becomes Marc and this time, he’s on the moon, heading towards the moon base. Suddenly, General Lupinar appears in his fighter jet and before Marc can stop him, Lupinar crashes into the moon base, with the Wolf Command Ship close behind. Marc finally arrives to the base, spots Lupinar and the two engage in a savage fight. Marc’s heart sinks as the Command Ship also arrives, off loading an army of Space Wolves which easily overcome the defenceless human inhabitants. Marc can only watch as each human is either killed or turned, and Lupinar takes advantage of Marc’s distraction, and swiftly bites him on the neck, intent on turning him into the one thing he hates. As if from a nightmare, Jake promptly awakes and finds himself next to Gena’s Diner, with his taxi cab intact. Convincing himself that his hallucinations of space wolves and moon bases are a result of him crashing his cab previously, Jake wanders inside Gena’s Diner, to gain some respite. Shockingly, Jake is confronted with what looks to be a massacre – numerous patrons, and Gena herself lie dead in a bloodied mess. A shocked Jake can only stare as the police arrive, pointing guns and screaming for Marc to surrender!
Moon Knight Vol 1, issue #14 – “Stained Glass Scarlet”
In a rundown church in the South Bronx, a lone woman drifts within, tortured by memories. She is Stained Glass Scarlet, and amongst the solitude, she contemplates her next move involving a recent prison escapee, Mad Dog Fasinera. As Steven and Marlene enjoy a cultured evening, their night is cut short by news on the radio of Mad Dog Fasinera in a shoot out with police. Moon Knight springs into action and it’s not long before he spots the gunfire from the Mooncoptor. Moon Knight manages to subdue the bank robbers, but Mad Dog manages to escape, killing one of his own men along the way. Having evaded Moon Knight’s grasp, Moon Knight decides to track down two of the other bank robbers who also managed to escape. They lead him to an abandoned store, but Moon Knight is surprised to see a Woman in Red appear, and enter the store as well. The robbers are also surprised that their secret safehouse is compromised and are stunned that the Woman in Red knows of it. Moon Knight intervenes and makes short work of the criminals, but is so intrigued by Stained Glass Scarlet – the Woman in Red – that he is compelled to follow. Moon Knight confronts her in the abandoned church and Stained Glass Scarlet tells of her origin – how she was a nun, before meeting a reformed criminal Vince Fasinera. How they married but Vince returned to his old ways, neglected his son and ultimately returning to a life of crime; how his last big bank job ends with his death and the mysterious disappearance of all the bank money; and finally, how Joe, left without a father, grows resentful and ultimately criminal, abandoning his mother. As Moon Knight reflects on this sad Tale, Joe ‘Mad Dog’ Fasinera appears, determined to retrieve his father’s hidden loot from Stained Glass Scarlet. She pleads to her son that she is all he needs, and Moon Knight valiantly attempts to diffuse the situation. Moon Knight is shot, but in the melee, Stained Glass Scarlet pulls a gun on her own son. Stained Glass Scarlet makes the hardest decision that a mother never should and is forced to kill her own son. In a final twist, as Mad Dog clutches at the bell rope, the bell sounds his death knell, but also reveals the hidden stash which had been hidden within the church bell for all these years.

Episode 7 – We Need To Talk About That Mooncopter Episode 7: The High Priests become three as Rey and Connor are joined by special guest Rebecca!

Episode 5:
Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy – plenty of exciting speculation around Moon Knight potentially entering the Netflix Marvel Universe (finally!) High Priests Connor and Rey discuss the exciting news which came from what to expect in the upcoming Punisher TV show – fingers crossed it’s for our boy, MK!
We wrap up the first tremendous arc by Jeff Lemire and Greg Smallwood in issue #5 of “Moon Knight” (Vol. 8) as well as revisit a classic with Vol. 1 issue #12 – “The Nightmare of Morpheus”.
Speaking of which, a new segment, “Character Spotlight” kicks off with an in-depth review of Morpheus the villian – get to know the history, powers and relevance that Morpheus has for Moon Knight as well as the rest of the Marvel Universe. It’s all here in this one episode – grab some moonshine and get ya false idols out, because it’s Moon Knight all the way, baby!
The Bare Bones:
Lemire’s Moon Knight, issue #5 – “ Welcome to New Egypt: Part 5 of 5”
Stopped at the entrance to the mysterious pyramid by what appears to be himself, Mr. Knight attacks the classic costumed Moon Knight after Marlene is coaxed to follow the mysterious imposter.
Mr. Knight manages to stab Moon Knight but is quickly countered and Mr. Knight can’t help as Marlene is whisked away.
Mr. Knight follows the trail of blood but what follows is not what he expects at all.
Deep in the pyramid, Mr. Knight arrives at a tomb door where the trail stops but as he enters, his world changes.
Finding himself no longer Mr. Knight and in the pyramid ,but in fact on the moon, Marc Spector has to immediately escape from the sounds of growls and space wolves which lead him through another doorway.
Beyond this, he comes out the other side as Steven Grant and now on set of some production, with Marlene surprisingly there to greet him. The reunion is short lived however, as the familiar faces of Billy and Bobby (the hospital wardens) attack Steven, forcing him through yet another door.
Again, his world is upended and we now see Jake Lockley on the seedy streets of New York, late night
no doubt, and in a far less salubrious part of town. Despite the different world, Billy and Bobby pop up again to cause grief but Jake manages to elude them once again via a third doorway.
Reality returns to Mr. Knight and he is once again confronted by the Classic Moon Knight visage and the creature underneath the mask. It is Khonshu, and the deity’s plan of wanting to possess Marc (both mentally and physically) are revealed.
Marc Spector refuses, and to escape it looks as though he would prefer death over submission. He flees out of the pyramid and wilfully leaps to his death, after which there is only darkness.
Marc finds himself abruptly awake and as Steven Grant in his bed.
Marlene is there to wish him a good morning and as Steven Grant looks over the New York skyline. He can’t help but shed a tear of joy at what he finally considers for himself, some inner peace.
Moon Knight, Vol. 1 issue #12 – “ The Nightmare of Morpheus”
Dr. Peter Alraune (Marlene’s brother) ponders over the guilt he bears for his patient, Robert Markham, who has gone horribly astray.
Just as he decides to report Markham to the police over the phone as missing, an intruder breaks in and reveals himself to be Markham himself, though now totally crazed and disfigured.
With mysterious dark powers, Markham (calling himself Morpheus after the Greek god) assaults Alraune but before he is able to finish the job, the police arrive and Morpheus flees into the night.
Marlene hears news of her brother now in hospital and pleads to Steven Grant to accompany her to see him. Peter slips in and out of consciousness but sadly as Marlene and Steven arrive, he falls into a coma.
It’s not long during their visit that Morpheus returns to presumably finish what he started, and as he attacks the hospital police guards, Moon Knight springs into action!
Morpheus proves, however, too much for Moon Knight to handle, and he makes short work of Moon Knight using his versatile ebon energy.
Moon Knight licks his wounds and returns to the scene of the crime (Peter Alraune’s office) to try and dig up information on Morpheus.
He is greeted by detective Flint – a seasoned, weary D.I who rather than get in Moon Knight’s way, assists him. Flint gives Moon Knight vital information and the thankful White knight leaves the office in search of Morpheus.
Meanwhile, as Morpheus becomes more and more crazed, he decides to rob a bank, which is easily detected by Moon Knight.
The two clash again, and for a second time, Morpheus beats Moon Knight effortlessly.
Moon Knight vows to do better and chases Morpheus into a zoo and after an intense fight where both seem to win at some point, Moon Knight lures Morpheus towards an electric generator.
Feigning injury, Moon Knight tricks Morpheus to shoot at the generator and as Moon Knight had hoped the electricity negates Morpheus’ ebon energy, rendering him powerless and at the mercy of the Fist of Khonshu.
Morpheus is arrested and brought to Seagate prison where he is sedated – effectively keeping Morpheus and his ebon energy under wraps.
Moon Knight forges a friendship with Detective Flint and as the story ends, Peter Alraune wakes from his coma, much to Marlene’s delight.
