Or so Sasuke thought, until he made the worst mistake possible, and hired some random college kid to babysit; one Uzumaki Naruto. Undeniably hot, undeniably kind and undeniably domestic, Sasuke's heart melts to Naruto too fast for his own good.

okay I have no time to write this but I had an idea for a sasunaru forest spirit! Sasuke AU where Naruto is an orphan who lives with a foster family on the border of Sasuke's forest and since his foster family is neglectful, he wanders into the woods (ostensibly to explore, in reality to scavenge for food) and meets Sasuke when he tries to eat poisonous berries and Sasuke knocks them out of his hand and calls him and idiot but teaches him how to survive in the forest (ostensibly because he's bored, in reality he's lonely and Naruto intrigues and excites him), then Naruto finds out that Sasuke's whole family was killed by his older brother who teamed up with the developers to level the forest for the town's sake rather than have the forest overtake the town, vows to help Sasuke take down his brother, blood oath (sap oath?) or whatever you know they're crazy enough for this, then montage of them growing up together both training (with Naruto freaking out over his developing attraction to Sasuke trying and failing to rationalize it--friend? brother? lover?) to take down Itachi but then Naruto discovers that his foster family is a part of the developers and cue internal conflict but in the end he chooses Sasuke's side and helps the forest overtake the town by being a willing sacrifice to the forest (he thinks it means certain death, in reality it means he, like Sasuke, can never leave the forest's borders), cue cute ending scene of Naruto throwing his arms around Sasuke in celebration, waiting a few moments (minutes) to draw back before Sasuke grows impatient and kisses him and teases him about not hiding his attraction very well, Naruto tells him that Sasuke didn't hide his attraction very well either, Sasuke replies that he wasn't hiding anything and that Naruto's just dense, then Naruto goes to tussle with Sasuke but Sasuke lets him fall out of the tree, but catches him, earning a breathy "bastard" from Naruto before a kiss that goes on and on~

The epilogue would go something like: Those who escaped from the village overtaken by the forest tell of a wild boy who dwells within. No, not a spirit, though they are always together, but a boy who forsook civilization for the beautiful forest spirit. They say that if you walk along the border of the forest, though no one ever does, you can catch a glimpse of them flying through the trees, laughter on their lips, forever in a world of their own.

Thank god for sns au fanfiction writers who write them in character but with healthy communication and regular plot instead of toxic or grandeur one. I lived for the drama when i used to read sns fics years ago but i can see now that the fandom is growing up and i love it

a problem solved - day 5 & 6: Canon / Jealousy would have never written written this outside of sns month and so I was excited to try something new jealous sasuke :))

sun and the moon - day 1: sun and moon my first snsmonth fic and very much what it's supposed to me, simple & something new they accidentally get matching tattoos

for when you're old enough - day 7: domestic & day 14: cooking together especially like the second part or the second part! they start living in sasuke's old family home

the night sky passing by - day 3 & 4: travelling together / on a date idk what this was but I feel like this one is fun naruto falls in love at first sight in the train

happy ending - day 2: happy ending watch me get an excuse to write about Iruka, simple, cute inauguration day

if you'll be gone in the morning - day 27: late night i actually like this one a lot too but it's a lot of dialogue and not as exciting or new sasuke comes back after they've broken up, modern au
