"I'm never gonna find love," you sighed, staring at the tv, displaying all the great names of actors who starred in the movie you just finished.

"What? What do you mean, never?" San commented, his eyebrows raising as he slid the hood from his head, revealing his silky raven hair.

"My life's just never gonna be as perfect as her's. She got it all. She has the job, she has gorgeous looks. She has a hot boyfriend, and look at me, I'm only a potato that no one wants."

San frowned. "What are you even talking about? You have a fine job, you're prettier than she is, you could easily get a boyfriend. You just need to learn how to open up," he said as he played with your hair.

"I'll never be good enough anyways," you mumbled, turning off the TV.

"You don't have to be so insecure, Y/N, you're doing okay, right?"

"Okay... yeah, sure," you sighed. Okay? No you were not okay.

You had lived your whole life with your parents telling you you weren't enough, hitting you once again when you didn't get an A on a test (even though you got a B).

Your entire life was about trying to make them happy, make them proud of you, but not once in your life had they told you this. Yet, you still loved them. Still needed their validation, because they were your parents.

Now you're well above 20, and you lost your parents a few months ago, as they passed together in a car accident. Your ignorant sister, who has always believed to be better than you has moved to the other side of the world, not bothering to even contact you.

Now even when they're gone you can't let it go. You flinch when people you care about raise their voice or raise their arms, you feel your heart beat faster with anxiety when someone looks at your body and you feel like you can not breathe when you have to make a test.

They ruined you.

No you were not okay.

Would you ever be okay?

San looked at you. "Y/N? Are you there?You've zoned out...," he said as he wiped a tear from your cheek. You hadn't even noticed you were crying.

You looked down. Can't look him in his eyes. His sweet loving eyes. You only wanted him to look at you the way you looked at him.

But he was a friend. With beautiful eyes that made you melt. A smile that makes you feel warm inside. Skin that makes every part of your body tingle when you touch.

To you he was San. But to him, you are just you.

"Sweetheart, don't cry... you'll get there. You have your whole life ahead of you," San said as he pulled you close.

Your head rested on his warm, muscular chest. Softly, you sobbed into his chest, tears staining his black t-shirt.

"San? Do you think I'm a failure?," you sobbed. San's heart broke, again, and again. With every tear he felt on his shirt. It broke him. He wanted you so bad. Wanted you to be okay.

San wanted to kiss you so bad, make you believe you're the most beautiful creature on this entire planet. A failure? You're an angel. My angel.

"Honey, you're not a failure...," he sighed. "Look at me."

Shyly, your eyes met his, and for a second it took away every sorrow in your body.

"You... are a beautiful young lady, inside and out. You have talent, you're passionate, you're beautiful, kind and sexy. You have nothing to worry about. I got you..."

"I am...? Sexy?"

You blushed a little when you noticed San's flustered look on his face.

He nodded softly. "You are sexy, you really are, I mean... you just have all the right...,'' San sighed, '' you are everything anyone could possibly want."

"But that's not true. No one wants me. No one ever has fallen for me," you sighed as you rubbed your eyes, mascara staining your cheek and hands.

"But I am falling for you, Y/N."
