my love languages! giving it’s definitely gift giving—it’s definitely my way of being like “hey btw I always think about you even when we’re not together.” I love a little ‘this made me think of you’ gift idk :)

for receiving I think it would be words of affirmation (or acts of service at specific times). even though I literally can’t take a compliment to save my life lol I literally always think about them.

and okay okay this one is fun—I’m gonna run through a few of my favs. For Osamu I think definitely we would. I feel like he gets flustered receiving little gifts that aren’t necessarily for any special occasion bc he’s like “??? you just want me to have this? bc you like me?” and I’m like yeah I’m literally in love w you you dork. and bc he's quieter i think the words of affirmation from him would just mean sm more. like he wouldn't say it unless he 100% meant it. but i do feel like acts of service is HIS love language—he shows his love through food and i am very happy to receive it lol.

i feel like nanami is very similar in that when he says something you know he means it. also an acts of service guy (the way he treats the first years?? hello?? amazing man im so in love w him). and i feel like he'd lowkey love getting little gifts or whatever, keeps them on his desk or dresser or smth and just loves admiring them. also is a flower giver because he's such a gentleman <3

gojo… sigh. i love him. but he'd be so teasingly annoying about it. i just know i'd have such a hard time getting him gifts for big occasions because like… dude's loaded. i'd be so self-conscious like "he could buy this for himself. what if he doesnt like this one bc it's not nice enough." but he'd love literally anything you got him ofc because he’s ALSO a sucker for ‘I got this cause I thought of you’ gifts. and his words of affirmation would, again, be in a very playful/teasing manner so like some days it's great but other days when I’m tired/upset it just strikes a nerve & lowkey makes things worse 😅 can be mature and serious and very very loving when he needs to be tho <3

my valentine's day was actually so nice! my husband and i went and got these little cheesecakes from a local shop, then ate at a revolving sushi bar, and spent the rest of the day window shopping. it was just nice to be out in the good weather (cool n breezy, but sunny) and i would say that that is always my ideal date. i love spending time with my husband, no matter what we're doing. also love to eat lol so always gotta have a widdle tweat <3

loving suguru is like petting a kitty and then they bite you. they're so soft, a little curious, and begging to be loved, but when it's too much they nip you. my hands are covered in little knicks, cuts, and scars from loving suguru too tightly. i'd love him so much i'd change the narrative.

hmm i think nanami is a bit hard for me to write bc his dialogue is more serious and i have trouble writing it to be that way y’know ?? i feel like w gojo and geto they’re always teasing in a sort of way so i write that much easier than nanami but nanami is super fun to write still. i think the hardest character to write tho is ushijima in hq bc that man speaks like 3 times a day and it’s hardly much 😭 idk he’s always been hard for me ig the rly serious characters are always hard for me

soo to answer your question, 2023 was a great year I’d say. it had its ups and downs but Im lucky this year was also something I can definitely look back on with memories and lessons. It was another year of self growth with some real bad months and some amazing months. Im really lucky to be around friends who genuinely want the best of me so having them around just makes my year honestly. Adding on top of that whenever Im at home or alone- I log in here and find you all being the absolute sweethearts. To have everyone here as another dimension of my life is just so special to me. like a sweet lil secret hahaha. I ended the year and started ‘24 with my family so Id say it’s a great end and start.

I discovered my love and need for having alone time which is contrasting because Im pretty extroverted everytime so the moments of aloneness are really peaceful and comfortable to live into. my favorite is the feeling that I indeed did choose the right major to study for and this is something so many people miss so Im really lucky to be the ones who don’t have to feel like that. the feeling of “I was born to study and work in this” and actually getting to fulfill that brings a satisfaction which is unexplainable so this was a great experience of my year.

this year was also a year of self healing too cause just the end of 2022 I had a breakup so first half of ‘23 had went on healing and self recovery. My next year’s resolution is to exercise more and be fit, walk everyday, look for university for masters program cause I graduate next year (WHAT), get good grades, good skin and write more and more because writing, reading and painting is a the therapeutic trifecta, oh and also be a lil more active in messaging apps cause next people will personally come to my home with pitchforks cos I don’t reply LMAO

I think that I definitely run warmer but my feet are always freezing when I go to bed, so I’d definitely be the one tucking my feet under him lol. And I think I’m the blanket hog when I fall asleep bc I just like to be cozy, but Gojo would steal them in the middle of the night for sure 🥺

i am also back with a sel question!! 🥹 what aspects of a fic do you enjoy the most (style, characterisation, flow, etc.)? and what qualities of suguru do you like seeing? 🥹

sel i am so so sorry for the late reply, but life happens, sometimes harder than i'm ready for. only really had the energy to scroll and reblog pretty pictures for a hot minute.

so far i have been consuming the fic intrinsic warmth at maybe a read (or two) a month? which is pretty insane considering it's bordering on 180k words already. but idc dude it's so good, maggie's writing/world & character building is on another level IMO for a self-insert fic. there's so much color and emotion in her chapters, i can't get enough of it! and her portrayal of satoru, jesus she's got him down pretty good, but that's just me everyone has an opinion on gojo. i'm going so feral i started going back and annotating it for a playlist i'm putting together for it. if anyone else likes intrinsic warmth, i would love to talk about it!!

if anyone hasn't read it yet, don't let the word count scare you! once you get started it's hard to stop, but beware if u are impatient. updates are irregular, but sooo worth it. maggie leaves no crumbs with each chapter drop, you can catch her on ao3 or here on tumblr <3

as for suguru...he's been on my mind, but i wouldn't say in a positive light lol. examining his character from what choices i would make in his shoes has soured it a bit but i'm finding my way back.

selbell thank you so much for the flowers. Dipping these strawberries in chocolate as we speak teehee. I am indeed doing pretty comfy and cosy this season. Made a cat friend down my apartment and we spend most evenings together with him perched on my lap.

PLS holiday outfits are my absolute favourite because I feel like my inner stylist pops out in winter. Even though the season asks for hoodies and blankets, I try to plan a lot of hangouts so that I can dress up and do cute hairs with my fits hehehe. My go-to outfit would be long jackets and turtleneck. I feel like I can style them so much better. Other than that I tend to wear colours like beige, dark red, sage green a lot. Recently I wore a cardigan and it looked so good so I'm more inclined to cardigans. I style with mufflers and scarfs for some more statement. I talked so much about myself I almost forgot about Satoru lol -- he is a more jacket kind of guy. My man may be a pretty princess but his wardrobe sucks so I tend to buy a ton of outfits for him in the shade of whites and blacks as well as navy and sometimes brown for a lil fun. His favourite is a hoodie and jean jacket (BRRRR IWA FASHION YOU KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT😍😍).

And if we are feeling a lil lazy we will do matching hoodie sets.

I always love your questions!! This is a good one—I absolutely LOVE giving gifts. But I feel like I would have absolutely no idea what to get Gojo (what do you get for the man who has everything/can buy anything he wants??). I’d probably end up making a little scrapbook of pictures and stuff (and hope he didn’t think it was cheesy and hate it) bc that’s not really something you can just go out and buy, ya know? And I think it would be v cute and I love doing personal things like that 🫶🏼
