Name: Ryali Everthorn
Ailias: Oracle, Eye of the Desert
Species: voidling
Age: 227
Gender: female
Weight:126lbs
Height: 6’4” (not including horns)
Hair: shoulder, white
Eyes: 3, black sclera, violet pupils and color
Horns: crown horns
Skin: tan
Preferred outfit: green leather leotard, leather leggings, thigh high black boots, leather gauntlets, leather coat with fluff.
Residence: birch house in the desert.
Voidlings: Ryali Everthorn was born in the native area for the voidlings, the end void.
Voidlings are cautious, keeping them in their dimensions for the most part. They do have access to the Overworld, End, and Nether though are rarely seen.
Voidlings have a lifespan of 3,000 - 5,000 years. Because of this they are very careful when having children, normally no more than 2,000 voidlings are ever in existence. Because of their long lifespan, voidlings tend to be considered adults at around 100, but can be living their own life a little earlier.
Voidlings can have pregnancies for up to 2 years. This is because they possess the ability to hold back birth until they deem it safe to give birth. Normally a voidlings must be pregnant for at least 9 months before being able to give birth. This can vary based off their partner.
When someone violates rules in voidling society they are normally sent to the Pit (colosseum) where the severity of their crime determines how many fights must be fought and how hard the fights are.
There are animals in the void dimensions, but they are more aggressive, tougher, and heartier than animals from the over world. Due to this, farmers are considered higher members in society, slightly above warriors.
Voidlings all have in a way physic abilities, able to slightly see the past and future with some having more sight than others.
Voidlings vary in appearance. They are bipedal, and skin colors range from human shades to shades of gray to black. Hair color is normally from white to black, but if a voidlings is born with other colored hair it will normally be a darker shade. Voidlings all have horns, pointy ears, and fangs, horns varying in appearance.
Eyes will vary in color, though normally with black sclera and a color in the middle.
Horn classification: horns that are large/on the side of your head are considered unfortunate as they cause sleeping to be awkward and tight spaces difficult. The best of these ones are thought to be ram horns.
The best horns are small horns on the top of the head or the forehead.
Extreme Punishment: very rarely is it used, but should a council decide that the pit is not enough punishment for a voidling, they will be exiled.
When exiled all the memories of home are blurred and the reason for exile erased.
This has only happened 5 times.
Ryali’s story: Ryali was born to a mother and father, who owned a chicken farm. This is what caused her love for chickens.
At a young age she was trained in swordplay, and would frequent fights at the pit with her family.
Like her father, she inherited his crowned horns. Her mother had long front horns. Ryali resembles her father more than her mother, but does have her eyes.
When she was 103 she joined the services (military). To celebrate her father took her on a mission to gather diamonds and emeralds from the overworld, and the wood and fire from the Nether to forge an amazing sword.
Around a decade later there was a massive fight in which many perished. Rather than fighting on the front lines she abandoned her post to look for children to hide from the enemy.
After the fight, the council admired her bravery but also decided she must be punished for abandoning her post and leaving her squadrent to perish.
And thus she was exiled. Ryali has lived in the overworld ever since, having made a home and an oasis in the desert, raising animals and crops, and awaiting events.
Now she is 227 and knows that soon, people from another world will appear, and start a series of events. All she must do is wait.

I was tagged by @sleepswithvillains ! Thank you! 😀
Tagging: @elaphaemourra, @outcastcommander, @elvhenyoung, and @tearlessrain
A snippet from the invasion of Korriban:
- - - -
Ryali can feel the metal of his lightsaber biting into his skin through the grip, and he can taste blood and ozone.
His hands are slick with crimson and some splashes of green and yellow. He hadn't bothered to check which species he was gutting.
His boots sink into the soft sand, and rage bubbles inside his belly as he stares his opponents down.
It is, in his mind, a righteous fury.
This is his sanctum, a place of learning and history. His students, the ones too young or untrained to hold a lightsaber, are frightened. He can feel their fear. He draws on it, pulls it into himself until he is boiling with rage.
The shadows cast from the craggy ruins seem darker than they should be, stretched unnaturally long. They writhe in the corner one one's eye, and he longs to step into one and envelop himself in it, to let the darkness flow through his veins and lend him it's strength. It's been such a long time since he's wetted his blade that the thrill is lingering.
His lightsaber's dual blades cast a deep crimson glow over the sand, turning it true red.
"Stand aside, Sith."
Ryali's grim expression deepens, and he shakes his head.
"You will not touch my students." He says firmly, "We won't let you pass, Jedi."
The Jedi's mouth thins, his own blade drawn and reflecting ocean blue in his nautolan black eyes.
Ryali can feel panic tugging at his senses.
Not for the battle, no, he didn't make Darth on his academic acumen alone, but because he has no time. He must reach his students, trapped outside the academy grounds. He can't fail them.
He grips his blade tighter, his senses brushing the presence at his side for guidance.
"Master-"
Darth Nox steps forward.
He's swathed in black robes, the deep hood thrown over his head and casting what little of his face that was visible into shadow.
His presence is tightly leashed, but it still hums I'm the air when he gets close.
The Jedi and their troopers tense. Some look confused by the alien in Sith robes.
"I'm afraid you will not be fighting my apprentice," the miraluka murmurs, and his voice, deeper than his thin frame would imply, carries over the sounds of wind and far off battle. He nods sharply at Ryali, a sign to leave this to him and run.
A wave of gratefulness threatens to extinguish the rage that is topping up his energy, but it merely adds it's fuel to the fire of his determination. He begins to back away, and their opponents raise their weapons.
Darth Nox let's his power slip for a moment, and the air turns heavy.
It's subtle at first, like the air before a storm. There's a faint taste of ozone and petrichor, incongruous in the desert of Korriban.
It builds swiftly and surely, like an avalanche gaining speed. It's massive.
The Korriban day seems to darken as the sparse cloud cover turns black. The sand seems to shiver under their feet and Ryali can feel his skin pebbling as power seeps into the air.
Thunder rolls inexplicably overhead, bass and threatening, and the pressure keeps rising until it's a tangible weight on their bodies like the gravity settings on a ship are out of alignment.
It's getting hard to breathe now, like trying to suck air in through mud.
Sparks skitter from Nox' gloved hands, and lightning forks over the now bruised sky overhead.
He's a spectre wreathed in power and shadow, and Ryali can't help but find it beautiful.
He flexes his fingers, and electricity arcs from between them and up his arms, providing a sparking mantle of power.
His expression is grim and dark, and as much as Ryali loves his Master, in this moment he's almost as terrified of him as the Republic forces that look on in horror.
He's radiant in his power, and to sense him in the Force is to be blinded.
One of the troopers is hyperventilating, clawing at her helmet as her knees begin to buckle.
He's unfathomable, and Ryali can hear the hiss of comm units shorting from the static buildup.
One of the Jedi is furiously trying to raise someone on their comm unit, to no avail.
Panic tastes metallic in the air.
Thunder rumbles overhead as lightning forks through the unnatural black cloud that bruises the sky purple.
Ryali steps back and prepares to run for it, to hurry to his students and defend them to his last breath, if need be.
Darth Nox eases the leash on his power slowly, carefully.
He's a very careful man.
He raises his hands, palms up, and lightning jumps between his fingers, hissing and spitting sparks.
Small, stray forks hit the sand around him with cracks like snapping bone, leaving little glass beads in their wake.
Scars twist his mouth, and Ryali can't comprehend how anyone managed to cage him.
Nox tilts his head, ready.
"You will be facing me."
#WIP Whenever#OCs#Ryali (Darth Imperius)#Avior Kallig (Darth Nox)#Nox doesn’t flex his power often but when he does...#there's a reason some Sith flinch wheb thunder rolls overhead#and they say they can tell when Nox is angry because the Kaasi storms are more violent#snippets

Bar Crawl
Music: “Your Light” by Yoe Mase
“ID, please.”
Norman casually produced the small, rectangular piece of plastic and gave it to the bouncer. The dude was one intimidatingly massive demon with cloven hooves where feet and shoes should be. Every inch of the guy oozed bouncer stereotype (tall, big arms, big chest, icy stare, cold demeanor), but the tight-fitting “Super Mario Bros” t-shirt he was wearing threw off his tough-guy fengshui. Norman fought back a grin, trying not to give away his thoughts. The last thing he needed was to be kicked out of the first bar of the evening. He still had so much exploring to do since this was his first time visiting Hell.
The bar’s neon “Beercade” sign overhead cast a yellow glow over everyone waiting in line behind Cal. Norman had never been to an arcade bar before. Cal said this was the place to come for the best local beer. Norman was more of a rum and coke kinda guy, but beer sounded great when Cal originally proposed the idea.
While the large, green demon checked his credentials, Norman’s eyes drifted up to the beast’s large, black, curvy horns. The way they twisted in a sturdy spiral reminded Norman of a mountain ram. Norman wondered if he ever kicked out disgruntled bar patrons by smashing into them headfirst.
The demon caught him staring and raised an eyebrow. “You need something, bub?”
Cal’s hands clasped Norman's shoulders from behind, making him jump. He poked his head past Norman’s left shoulder and addressed the bouncer, “No, we’re good, Ron. Sorry, it’s his first time in the Furnace so everything is still pretty...new.” Cal planted a peck on Norman’s cheek and gave him a noogie.
The “Furnace” is what native demons referred to as Hell’s main dimension. Cal brought Norman to Pandemonium, the capital of Hell and heart of the Furnace, to introduce him to demonic culture. As they exited the portal from Earth to Hell, he best described the bustling, satanic metropolis by calling it “an infernal version of New York City.” When the city came into view, Norman’s jaw dropped. The resemblance was unmistakably New York-ish with a dash of hellfire, exposed brickwork, and thousands of screaming, writhing souls of the damned. Skyscrapers grew out of the ground as far as the eye could see and stretched all the way up into the black, tar-like, starless sky. Taxis, cars, and other vehicles packed the streets, making any mode of transportation other than walking a pain in the ass. Flying was also an option for most since several demon species had wings, but Cal said most demons shy away from it due to all the construction and demolition hazards in the downtown area. Dozens of bars, coffee shops, and retail stores littered the bases of every skyscraper. Various demons, creatures, ghosts, ghouls, and undead hustled to and fro in the clustered madness that was Pandemonium’s downtown nightlife.
Cal tried to give Norman another noogie. He rolled his eyes and tried to shrug Cal off. The bouncer, aka Ron, smiled at their playful banter. He cleared his throat, politely coaxing them to stop, “Yeah, I know how it is. My girlfriend is human, too. We’ve been together two years and she still gawks a bit whenever she comes to visit. The Furnace can be a lot to take in all at once.” He checked the identification one more time before extending it back to Norman. “Here’s your ID back, dude.” He gave a nod to Cal. “Have fun you two.”
“We will! Thanks Ron, good to see you again.” Cal smiled back. He casually grabbed Norman’s butt and gave it a squeeze then walked through the door without ever showing Ron his own ID. Norman let loose the grin he’d been holding back and shook his head at Cal. Must be nice to have connections, He thought to himself. He wished he had something like that when he was still a minor.
He was thinking of ways to pay Cal back for that public ass grab when he stepped through the tinted glass door and gasped. The interior of the Bar was laced with intricate woodwork from floor to ceiling. The wood was clearly recycled, but sanded down and molded to fit perfectly in every corner. It looked like something straight out of a boujee architecture magazine. At the far left was the main bar with tap nozzles, shelves of fancy liquor, and a painted version of the “Beercade” sign from outside. On the right sat arcade-style video game machines stacked back-to-back all the way to the patio and emergency exit doors. There was Pac-Man, Galaga, Donkey Kong, Super Mario Bros, various racing games, and even skee-ball. Norman felt like he’d stepped back in time to the 80s.
Dozens of demons crowded around the main bar counter, ordering various glowing liquids, beers, and shots. Some of the drinks smoked ominous gases while others screeched earsplitting cries of intangible babble. Norman swore he even saw one of the drinks try to crawl its way out of a martini glass. He glanced around, trying to locate his boyfriend, when a familiar red hand shot up through the crowd and waved at him frantically. Norman squeezed his way between a very intoxicated rock golem and a succubus with ginormous boobs to find Cal saving the only two remaining barstools at the counter. He beckoned Norman to come sit.
“Hey you, what d’ya want to drink?” Cal asked as Norman pulled up in the stool next to him.
“I don’t know.” Norman replied casually. “What’s good? I don’t normally drink beer, so order something for me. I trust your judgement.”
Cal grinned. “You got it!” He turned to the nearest bartender and shouted over the noise of the crowd, “Hey Ryali, two Pitchforks over here!” She nodded and gave a thumbs up.
Pitchfork?
“What’s Pitchfork?” Norman chuckled. What an a-typical demonic beer name. It was almost so corny that it was a perfect fit. He was excited to try it.
“Only the best brew to ever touch your mortal lips. It’s made from dragon’s blood.”
Norman grimaced, “Dragon’s blood? I don't know if I can stomach that...”
“Oh no no no, not actual dragon’s blood. Dragon’s Blood. It’s a type of hop plant grown in Erebos. It gives the beer its unique flavor. Ah! Here we go.” He took two sweating, ice-cold beer cans from the bartender. “Thanks Ryali!” The demoness smiled, nodded again, and winked at Norman with her third eye, making him cringe a bit. Cal laughed and handed Norman his beer. “I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of seeing you squirm.”
“Oh shut up and drink your beer.” Norman snarked as he popped the tab on his can. Air hissed out of the opening when the metal punctured the seal.
Cal held out his can to propose a toast. “Here’s to new beginnings and cute guys.” He winked.
“Uh-huh, suuure. And here’s to us.” Norman retorted.
“To us.” Cal agreed, clanking his can on Norman’s.
The cold can chilled Norman’s lips. The first surge of beer hit his tastebuds and sent waves of bitter, tangy flavor through his senses.
“Damn! That’s good beer!” He exclaimed, sitting back to marvel the can with new insight.
“Told you.” Cal responded. “Hey, Ryali! Another round over here!”
Norman looked over at Cal and found his beer completely empty. His eyebrows shot to the roof of his forehead. “We’ve had these in our hands for exactly one minute! Did you just chug that?!”
Cal grinned, showing off his fangs, and wagged his eyebrows. “They didn’t crown me ‘Beer Chugging Champ’ in college for nothing! It’s all in the gag reflex.” He flexed his biceps in a display of sarcastic, manly macho-ness.
“Is that so?” Norman cocked an eyebrow as Ryali brought Cal the next round of beer. The demon eagerly opened his second can and began gulping down a good portion of it. Norman returned to sipping his first beer and added with sexual fervor, “I can think of something else you should be chugging right about now...”
Cal choked, sending spurts of alcohol flying out of his nose and mouth. Ryali, the two other bartenders, and several people around Norman and Cal stared for a moment then started laughing. Norman joined in as Cal got a towel to clean up the mess he made on himself and the counter.
“That’s for grabbing my ass earlier.” Norman chided, sticking his tongue out at Cal.
“You bastard.” Cal laughed, wiping beer from his face and shirt. “Your ass is mine when we get home.”
“Is that a challenge? Cuz I honestly wanna see you showcase those chugging skills.” Norman fired back at the demon. “If you can beat me in a Das Boot chugging contest, you can have me any way you want when we get home, deal?”
A spark of excitement and mischief flickered across Cal’s demonic eyes, “Oh it’s on like DONKEY KONG!”
They shook hands as Ryali brought over two gallon-sized, glass boots full of beer.

Finally grabbed a screenshot of Ryali!
Honestly, his design has changed quite a lot from his in game look, but this is close enough. Yes, he’s prancing around in a Jedi set because that’s how he rolls.
(None of the armour dyes were pastel enough for me, and I do like the base colour of this set...)
