I have to ask because you’re the only other person I’ve seen with an OC that differs from the norm. Do you think my Warlock and Ruxiz would get along?
For context; My Warlock, Azrael Zovas is a Child of darkness, who works with Eris, The Stranger and Drifter. Occasionally Osiris if needed. He is a very.. traumatized boy. Fresh off the rezz he witnessed a group of guardians being torn apart by the Darkness. He has lost most of his crew in VERY traumatic ways. (Being ripped apart by the darkness, SIVA corruption, and just death in general.) He was resurrected once before he was found by a corrupted Ghost, during the dark ages. He occasionally has flashbacks during meditation. He has recently discovered, with the help of Eris that he may have been “created” by the Witness to use as a weapon. Also, he has wings because fuck it we ball 🫡
His personality when first meeting people comes across as standoffish and egocentric, but once he becomes close with someone, he loves like a wolf. He lives to protect his crew, and would die for them without hesitation.
I feel he would definitely be very interested by Ruxiz, and study him a bit before he interacted with him. He’d be fascinated by his tail, as he believed himself to be the only one with animal like traits.
What are your thoughts?
I think it could be a possibility! It depends on like, what storyline he's engaging with but the general behaviour Ruxiz exhibits is fairly friendly and modest! Ruxiz is corrupted in a sense as well, he was infected by The Black Garden as it messed with his head in the D1 vanilla campaign. I feel like he'd find a sense of solace with your character in that part, being corrupted and having traits outside of the norm automatically would put your character in good standing with Ruxiz. Although, being studied may make Ruxiz feel uneasy as he sees being study as a negative thing. Especially given his history with The Garden and vex as a whole, but I think he'd eventually see Azrael as a positive influence in his life and would enjoy befriending him. He may be standoff-ish at first, either out of necessity or viewing Azrael as another one of the garden's hallucinations, I think it could be a pretty good friendship given time for them to warm up to each other. I think he'd find Azrael other traits very fascinating as well, maybe even put at ease knowing he isn't the only one with 'abnormal' features.
