i’m actually really nervous about twow bc i feel like every series i made my whole personality from the ages of 10-17 ended really badly EXCEPT probably farscape and ummmm well…the disney series’ aksksj hsm3 and descendants 3 written by children’s media icon and genuinely amazing director, screenwriter, & choreographer kenny ortega both had really solid endings that fit the characters & themes & also there wasn’t a noticeable decrease in quality of writing. is it unserious to compare grrm to cassie clare, rick riordan, megan whalen turner, or the hacks who wrote once upon a time? absolutely. am i gonna stress regardless? also yes.

I think the prettiest mc is Artemis (Rott) and for the ugliest mc, im gonna ignore the old art styles (sitf, moonborn, sos etc) and gonna pin point at s10w Sophie. the main reason I couldn't play s10w was that i found them too ugly sorry😭🥴

My new Rage of the Titans theory:

Jason is Orion, Artemis's hunter.

Here are my reasons:

1. In mythology Orion was a son of Poseidon, which tracks with the fact that Jason wore a Poseidon outfit to the party in season 1. He knew at the time that the gods were real, even if he didn't know his friends were gods, which means he picked the Poseidon outfit on purpose.

2. Orion was Artemis’s hunter (one of very few men who ever were) and was killed by either Apollo’s agent Scorpio, or by Artemis after she was tricked into killing him by Apollo - either way this would track because Jason doesn’t care at all about the gods and was annoyed to find out his friends were gods. If the gods were responsible for his death (godly infighting specifically), he would definitely hate them, and hate them for ruining his second chance at a life.

3. Orion became a constellation because Artemis cared so much for him that she put him in the sky - Jason as an character seems to only care about Andrea/Artemis. He doesn’t care about any of the other gods, only about her. If he was once her cherished hunter, this would make sense.

4. In his first diamond scene Jason says he’s loved Andrea ever since he first met her. If he’s talking about Artemis, then Orion did love Artemis. If he’s just taking about human Andrea, then it would make sense for him to remember Artemis enough to fall in love with her all over again.

5. In season 2 when you ask him who he is, he says nothing and instead does this:

And then this happens later on in the scene during Artemis's internal monologue:

Jason knows the gods, he knows enough about them to talk Hades into protecting Theo, and he knows enough to hate that they're back in his life. He won't tell Andrea who he is, which probably means he's someone she'll recognize. Orion, thanks to the constellation, is a pretty recognizable figure.

So that's my theory.

Do you have to balance the points in Rage of Titans or can you just stick to one path?

Honestly I’d recommend sticking with one route (the author has also said this), especially if you really care about the LI you’re romancing in this book.

Also try and get as many influence points as you can as that also impacts the ending - it actually impacts the ending far more than the divinity/humanity route. It essentially determines whether or not you get a happy ever after

I don’t want to spoil too much but there are 3 possible endings you could have, so my advice is choose whatever you prefer out of divinity/humanity and stick with it. And then get those influence points up 😁😁

I can't play Rage of the Titans anymore. I absolutely hate their portrayal of both Hades and Persephone's relationship and Persephone in general.

I finished season 1 of rott and I have questions:

Is Andrea a new god or old god?

Why did she lose her memory?

Andrea/Artemis is an old god.

So I realized something kinda horrifying when playing rage of the Titans on romance club. Mc’s old boyfriend and the main setup love interest is her cousin. I’m serious think about it MC is Artemis who is traditionally Zues’s daughter and even in the game Zeus says ‘hello my daughter’. Adrian is the son of Hades the sister (in real life mythology hades is Zeus bro not sure why they made him a her in the game) But either way Adrian is Mc’s cousin.

Honestly, I don't know what to add, because I am aware of all the inc*st in greek mythology. Is inc*st disgusting? Yes. And yes, in rott MC and Adrian are cousins. Just like she, Apollo, Hephaestus, Persephone are siblings 🥴 maybe even Aphrodite, depends on the version of the myth. And if the 'Pierce is Prometheus' theory is true, then he is her uncle.

That being said, if you're feeling this fact is off-putting, then I suggest staying single or romance Theo who is a human and therefore not related to our MC. Because really, all the divine LIs are related to MC in one way or another (and that comes from a Murphy romancer)

But that won't erase the Adrian being her ex thing, will it? I'm not the writer, so I don't know why they decided to go with that route, just as I don't know why they genderswaped Hades.

My personal stance on this is: it's greek mythology, and while it's absolutely not acceptable in real life, in case of gm I turn blind. Is that a correct thing to do? I don't know. Probably not.
