Things I have learned about Alexander Rossi today:

Clean freak (already knew) but he hates doing laundry, so Kelly does it (Alex does other things around the house). Because he’s a clean freak though, he will only wear clothes for a short bit of time and then change because he “doesn’t want to stink” (implied he’s literally only wearing these clothes for the smallest bits of time, but okay).

Likes to set the thermostat to FIFTY-SEVEN TO SIXTY-ONE degrees (Fahrenheit). Because he is INSANE. LIKE ACTUALLY CRAZY BEHAVIOR.

Not only does he set his home temperature to this (rip kelly, praying for you girl). HE HAS RESEARCHED hotel thermostats, found they commonly use three brands, and knows how to get into the “vip mode” so he can set the temperature to insane low levels in his hotel. I am scared of you Alexander Rossi, why are you sleeping at morgue levels of cold???

Has dreamed of sleeping in a coffin, imagines he would actually sleep well in a morgue. He likes hard beds. Alex might be Dracula in disguise, not entirely sure, but if he asks to be invited into your home maybe don’t let him in.

I am so glad i scrolled all the way back to the oldest off track episodes because i just listened to alexander rossi trying to convince james hinchcliffe and john green that percy jackson would beat hermione granger and bella swan in a fight because he can talk to horses. The fact that his first instinct was to go to "horse stampede" is so rossi 😭

Notes from Off Track (Texas Track Limits and a Wedding)

- Alex is dragging James about being “part of the f1 circus” from the offset which is hilarious

- Alex distracted them by cute photos of his dog

- They discussed how good max is at knowing F1 rules and that McLaren strategy sucks. Cmon Alex draaaaaggggg themmmmmmm. (He didn’t but I wish he did)

- “Mexico will be exciting because young… potato gets to do an FP1 in Mexico finally (…) so I’m very excited for him, because we all know how big a deal he is in Mexico. I mean… most of us do. Some don’t but most of us do.” Alex is gushing SO MUCH and billboard mentions teehee. #palexforever

- MINISTER ALEX TALK.

- He was so nervous leading up to it, awh.

- He rewatched his wedding for it and Thim and James cackling like mad men made the Final Cut which they were delighted by. Alex not so much.

- “I was told everyone was very happy with how it went” and said he would never do it again 😂

- Alex didn’t drink before but… caught up after and passed everyone as well 💀😂 “so he won”

- He was in the sim (then it broke) but he was gonna fly Charlotte Thursday night but it was closed because the orange Cheeto was in NC and he didn’t want to get a military escort so he had to go early the next morning

- IndyCar was going to have a merch pop up and asked Alex to go and sign stuff at the FFA convention (farmers) not the FAA convention (planes). He seemed sad there were no planes.

- Alex still uses Facebook. I am tickled by this.

- Alex then listed all the places you can fly out of from Indy because he knows because he is a nerd 🤓 🥰

my love for thim the producer is mostly built off of his outward dislike for santino. this man is one of the most consistent haters ive even seen and its great to see hinch struggle to get through thim’s many many rants abouts him while alex encourages this behaviour.
