I love the implication that this is all the heads-up she gave them about which compatible enough dinosaur she has in mind.

There’s show-don’t-tell cuts to reveal the audience information while skipping the in-universe explanations, and then there’s characters apparently thinking “there’s no way of putting 'you’re going to have to extract blood from a maybe-sufficiently tranquilized T. rex’ that would make a person more mentally prepared for the task, so it’s better they have their ‘you’ve got to be kidding me’ moment where I won’t have to waste time on explaining to them how much I’m not”.
