@aeolianblues This was supposed to be a little introduction playlist to Sparks/Richard Hawley/Kaizers Orchestra and then just ended up being a bit of a mess of random songs and occasional Scottish bands you may or may not like. I’m sure I could add more but my brain is currently scrambled so this should do for now 😅
#Richard Hawley is a Sheffield icon - Alex Turner adores him and it wouldn't surprise me if Hawley inspired some of AM's later work#they collaborated on a song called 'You And I' once but I would honestly prefer to see them work together nowadays#Kaizers are a wonderfully weird Norwegian band who I love but understand why people wouldn't#my favourite song by them is Forloveren so if you're going to check out any song by them I'd recommend that one!#I included a random Pink Floyd song because... bass#and a couple of Rammstein songs which I'm not sure if you'll like but if you do I can highly recommend the videos#the Deutschland video in particular might be their masterpiece#I thought about adding some Miles Kane/TLSP/AM songs as well but wasn't sure what you'd already heard#okay I think I'm done 😅😊
