Process details under the cut!

So after lineart, I usually color each component of a piece (fur, shirt, etc.) separately on individual layers, and shading each of them individually. This works but is pretty time consuming, and since this was my first piece in Clip Studio Paint, I wanted to experiment with something new. Basically, I tried doing all the flat colors in a single layer and the shading/highlights in a different layer, and then experimenting with layering options till I got a result I liked:

In some ways this is preferable to my old method of coloring/shading each component on a separate layer, I might continue with this technique in the future! I'd like to figure out a way to get the colors to pop a bit more, I think next time I'll try separating the highlights and the shadows into two separate layers that I can apply different layering options to.
