Hellooo i joticed your requests are open and i was wondering if you could do a moonwater x fem!reader where reader has eczema since she was a kid and the boys would stop her from itching or picking on her hand and would remind her to use her hand cream whenever the eczema on her hands are dry :b
thanks for your request, sweets <3
poly!moonwater x fem!reader who is struggling with eczema [511 words]
CW: cracked/dried hands, brief mention of insecurity of eczema, fluff
“Amour, I swear to all that is holy, if you do not stop I will duct tape oven mitts to your hands.” Regulus threatened as he hastily stood from his seat on the couch in order to press a loving kiss to your knuckles (after prying them apart from one another) before stalking off further into the flat.
“Don’t threaten her.” Remus chided after him before turning to look at you quickly. “Do you think it would help though?”
You let out a very petulant half-laugh, half-sob as you threw your head back into the sofa with a thud.
You didn’t even have time to verbally respond before Remus was making a sympathetic tsking sound and rising from his own chair to kneel in front of you.
“I’m sorry, dovey.” he cooed as he peppered kisses over your dry, torn knuckles that you’d been angrily clawing at.
“I don’t want you to be sorry, I just want it to stop.” You bemoaned as you lifted your head to look at him, both loving and hating the sympathy that was simply oozing from his being. You hated him even touching your hands; they felt mangled and rough and nearly un-human, and certainly not at all deserving of his tenderness and affection.
“Here, love.” Regulus interrupted quietly as he returned to the living room with a bowl of ice water. “Let’s have a soak for a little, hm? I’ll get a damp, hot towel ready for after, and then we’ll moisturize.”
“Then the oven mitts?” You pouted, offering him your best puppy-dog eyes and lip jut in spite of Remus’ warning tap to your thigh for being facetious.
“If you insist on shredding your hands apart, then yes, amour.” Regulus responded in kind, though he pressed a conciliatory kiss to your forehead as he placed a fluffy blanket on your lap and then the bowl of cold water on top.
You quickly placed your hands into the bowl without prompting which had your body nearly melting in immediate relief.
The cold stung, sure, but your hands didn’t itch and burn when submerged which was a huge improvement.
“Better?” Remus murmured from below you, prompting you to open your eyes which had fallen closed.
“A bit.” You murmured back, earning you a half-smile from your boyfriend.
“Take it easy on him, okay? He hates seeing you in pain and discomfort just as much as you hate being in pain and uncomfortable.”
“I don’t mean to be combative, but-”
“You’re not.” He assured you quickly. “You’re uncomfortable and feel defensive when you feel like he’s scolding you, which he was; he needs to be patient with you, too.”
You nodded in understanding as he rubbed circles into your thighs. “He takes good care of me.”
Remus smiled at that. “He takes good care of both of us.”
And when Regulus returned with both a steaming towel and your moisturizer, he also brought a few of Remus’ pain meds and a glass of water for him.
Yes, Regulus certainly did take good care of the two of you.

Noah dating girl with atopic eczema
Soo I know this is very specific and probably not everyone is gonna relate, but as someone struggling with this condition and having big flare up this last month, I wanted to share this with you. It is important to me that this condition is spoken about, so feel free to slide in my inbox or message me if you want to talk about it.💗
*Atopic eczema is a condition that causes dry, itchy and inflamed skin. It is long lasting (chronic) condition and tends to flare sometimes. It is not contagious. The cause is unknown and there is no cure for it, only treatments that can make ot easier to lice with it.*
Noah learned about this condition when he met you.
You are used to living with it by now, but for Noah it's something new.
He sees it as any other condition and takes it very seriously.
He reads about it, because he doesn't want to make you uncomfortable by asking questions.
When you two met and it became more serious, you were scared that it will throw him off.
It's not contagious, but lots of people don't know that.
And because of that you get lot of stares and sometimes ugly comments.
When you started dating you were using your creams to make it better, but you HATE those oily creams, so you use them usually only when you know you will be in public and your skin will be seen.
As you two got closer you felt confident enough to tell him about it.
He was surprised, but just because he didn't notice it.
His reaction was very neutral, because he didn't see it as a problem, as you were scared he would.
Which was relief for you.
You stopped using your creams daily and it started showing more and more.
Noah asked some questions, mostly about how can he help, if it hurts when he touches you or if you want him to apply your creams for you.
Which was honestly one of your favorite things, him putting cream on your back and giving you a little massage along with it.
Those creams weren't so bad sinxe Noah started applying them.
But you have your ups and downs with this condition.
When it's really bad, it hurts.
It hurts like burns, and they're all over your body.
Noah makes sure you have water and your meds that help with the itching on your bed table.
He noticed that you're scratching yourself even in sleep, so he gave you one of his longsleeve t-shirts to avoid scratching yourself to blood.
He also started taking showers with you daily, because he noticed you always come out all bloody and bruised and the bathroom is like a fucking sauna.
That's because hot water triggers your skin, but it also feels really nice on your skin in the moment. But you're left with bloody hands and red skin afterwards.
So he showers with you to make sure you use warm water, not boiling hot water.
If you mention that some food or shampoo or washing powder triggers your eczema, you bet he will throw it out immediately and will look up options that are safe for sensitive skin.
When it's really bad and it effects you mentally (because it does) he showers you with love and cuddles.
He hates when it makes you cry.
Or when he sees you looking at your skin in the mirror with those sad eyes.
But what he hates the most is when you come home, obviously sad and he has to get it out of you, that someone at work said nasty comment towards your condition.
His heart aches when he sees you in long sleeved clothes almost every time you two leave the house.
It's not that you're ashamed of eczema, but you want to avoid those looks you get from strangers.
He also hates seeing you in long sleeved clothes at the band's concerts. Those venues get real hot really quick and he knows you're hot even if you say you're fine.
He makes sure to point out if your skin get's even a little bit better and he's all happy about it.
He helps you look for doctors that specialize in those conditions.
And he makes sure to attend every appointment with you, if you want him there.
He also uses it as a reason to go on vacations by the sea for a longer period than is usual, because sea helps with eczema.
Overall he helps you with everything, he helps build the confidence you lost because of this condition and he loves you unconditionally.
Remember that conditions like this don't definw you and you are beautiful and loved!💗

shiggy headcanons: eczema edition ⋆𐙚₊˚⊹♡
from a person with eczema who felt very seen ily tenko shimura you’re my real one
also if you don’t know what eczema is it’s a skin condition that makes your skin hella dried out all the time it doesn’t retain its moisture and with dry skin comes an itchy hell *scratches neck cutely*
◦ he smells musty and stinks, dabi’s smoke and his dust from decay make him smell ashy and smokey, like cigarette butts
◦ he doesn’t smile or make lots of expressions because it makes his dry ass skin crack and it hurts to do it
◦ he scratches his hands and fingers a lot especially when he’s playing games
◦ spinner notices shiggy scratching his hands during games and tries to minimize it by distracting him and shoving him lightly when he sees him reaching to itch
◦ spinner gifted him a small container of lotion that he saw in an abandoned store and shiggy uses it all up on his hands (he’s too afraid to try on his face because it burned the first time he tested on his cheek) when he runs out he’s too prideful to ask spinner if he has more and tries looking for the same brand in other stores
◦ he has bad dandruff and his scalp is full of bleeding and cracked skin and he tried to be funny once by ruffling his hair and saying ‘hey it’s the first snow’ (only twice was like ‘oi shigaraki that’s pretty funny’ then his other side said ‘ew that was gross’ and shiggy never tried it again. everyone else was dumbfounded and silent)
◦ the league doesn’t have easy access to showering and normal hygiene practices but shiggy would avoid showering and washing his hands anyways because it burns his skin
◦ toga made him wash his hands once and used hot water and it felt so good but after he dried his hands his skin felt 10x worse so he avoids water
◦ hates winter because it dries out his skin and hates summer because it makes him sweaty and more prone to itching and it irritates his skin
◦ toga tried to get him skincare products before but they burned him on the first use and he never tried again
◦ picks his dead skin (lips and hangnails around fingers) and eats it
◦ chews his nails and eats the dirt (guilty pleasure)
◦ actually hates having long nails because the itching is worse with them but he doesn’t have nail clippers available
◦ rubs at his dead skin absentmindedly because it feels satisfying
◦ when he was younger and his dead skin flaked onto mon chan’s fur, he would gently brush it off and try to avoid getting it on mon chan
◦ scratched off his eyebrows because the itching was so bad
◦ sometimes wished dabi had ice instead to numb his skin
◦ has had the urge multiple times to ask dabi to burn all his skin off during particularly bad eczema episodes
◦ he always wakes up with skin flakes all over his pillow and has to flip it over to the other side everyday (someone get him clean sheets pls)
◦ has trouble sleeping because his itching keeps him up
◦ dabi notices him itching himself in his sleep because it’s loud as hell and shoves him to make him stop (not out of the goodness of his heart it’s because the noise is annoying as fuck) (it helps a little anyways)
◦ desperately wants to buy skins for his lol main but doesn’t have a credit card to pay for it (he steals from someone off the street and puts them in generational debt with transactions from lol)
◦ scratches his neck furiously when he loses a game and can’t stop
◦ when he gets super regeneration it nullifies his eczema and gives him relief but erasure taking away regeneration also takes away the relief of not having irritated itchy skin so that’s why he gets extra pissed at aizawa and holds a grudge (so cool eraser!)
◦ the reason he gets mad easily is because his skin being itchy all the time makes him super irritable
◦ when he reawakens in the new body he feels more level headed and in control and he doesn’t have to worry about his skin, loves being able to show off his new body that’s not riddled with scratches and cracked skin

Where magic comes from
Sometimes I itch until I bleed and still feel the need. I see the blood, the tearing and still feel the skin that is no longer there screaming at me that something crawls along it. My hands and my scalp is where it happens. I prefer the scalp.
It's easier to hide on the scalp. Easier to forget when it finally stops, to allow to scab over. Pulling out those scabs feels good. To catch them beneath my nails and feel the tug and how they trace the hair they travel along. Oh, don't make that face. I'm aware it is gross. i like it anyway.
I hate my hands most days, red and flaky with dozens of tiny thin lines of scratches announcing to the world my lack of impulse control.
Sometimes I worry that the itch is coming from under my skin, something trying to dig its way out rather than an external reaction -what? The power in me dying to be let out? It's not. It's just eczema.
I cut my nails when it gets bad, as far back as I can to give my skin a chance to heal and then regret it when I seek relief.
None if this is the magic, you understand? There is no point in collecting my fingernails for your spells or fighting each other the napkins with my blood. Those bruises are for nothing. I do hope that you were joking about what you claimed to do with the scabs.
You should apologise to your brother. The biting was wholy unnescessary. It would have been even if the whole thing wasn't a stupud waste of time.
Yes, I'm serious. I do wish you had talked to me first. Was it Pip who told you to do this? That bastarding cat...last time I summon a familar, I'm telling you. Not worth the hassle. What else did the little shit say?
What? Canibalised my mentor? Ha! He wishes.
That old goat is still alive, thank you very much for the vote of confidence. She retired. Lives in a ground floor apartment in the city with two Irish Wolf hounds and does a lot of knitting. The wolf hounds just *love* Pip.
Yes, I know the city is too hot for wool. She finds it funny.
But you are wondering where the magic comes from. Thought you could get more by doing weird things with bits of myself that I cut off? If injesting bodily fluids made you magic my boyfriend would be a grand Mage. Oh, don't make that face. Making you think about us having oral sex is as good a punishment as any.
Sorry? So where does magic come from? No idea. No, i'm serious. This isn't a 'wait until your ready' thing.
Well, do you know where time comes from? But you can count seconds? Add up minutes? Judge how long something will take?
And other people understand it more, right?
No. I'm not calling you an idiot. I wish you would listen to what I actually say rather than react to the words you imagined out of my mouth.
How to explain this? Let's stick with the time thing. Other people made sundials, and building that only light up one day a year, right? They made little mechanised watches to count the seconds and ways to tell the hours apart from each other.
People made watches without having a single clue about where time came from. They made calenders to track the moon and their bodies. They did all of that without knowing where time came from.
That's what we are, darling. We are the watchmakers of magic, you and I. Only right now you are learning the days of the week and I'm writing entire calenders. Stop wondering about the where and the why and start figuring out the what of it. Stop looking for shortcuts.
Oh, and apologise to your brother.

What Natural Remedies Stop Itching?
Having itchy skin can be very annoying and painful. Finding relief is essential for the cause of allergies, bug bites, or skin conditions like eczema.
Since over-the-counter creams and medications are frequently utilized, many natural remedies can successfully reduce itching.
Let's explore a few of these treatments and their advantages.
Tumblr media
Natural Remedies to Stop Itching
1. Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera is a well-liked home remedy for a number of skin issues, including itching. Its calming qualities can help lower inflammation and offer immediate relief.
How to prepare:
Just place some fresh Aloe Vera gel on the irritated area and let it sit there for ten to fifteen minutes. As needed, repeat this procedure multiple times each day.
2. Colloidal Oatmeal
Oatmeal that has been finely ground and readily dissolved in water is called colloidal oatmeal. It creates a barrier of defense over the skin to stop moisture loss and lessen irritation.
How to prepare:
Colloidal oatmeal should be soaked for 15 to 20 minutes in lukewarm bathwater. Afterward, pat your skin dry without rubbing, as this could make the itching worse.
3. Cold Compress
A cold compress can provide immediate relief from itching by numbing the area and reducing inflammation.
How to prepare:
Apply a cold pack or some ice cubes wrapped in a fresh cloth to the irritated area and leave it there for a few minutes. To prevent ice burns, repeat this procedure without coming into direct contact with the skin.
4. Baking Soda
An easily accessible household item with anti-inflammatory qualities that can help reduce itching is baking soda.
How to prepare:
Apply a paste made from a tablespoon of baking soda and water to the affected area, and let it sit there for 10-15 minutes. After using cold water to rinse, pat dry.
5. Coconut Oil
Because of its reputation for hydrating skin, coconut oil is a useful treatment for dry, irritated skin.
How to prepare:
On the affected area, apply a thin layer of organic virgin coconut oil, and let it sit there until it is completely absorbed. For best results, repeat this process multiple times per day.

The calming and anti-inflammatory qualities of chamomile tea help reduce itching.

Embracing Nature's Bounty: Herbal Remedies for Eczema
In a world saturated with synthetic remedies, the allure of natural solutions is more compelling than ever. Eczema, a chronic inflammatory skin condition affecting millions worldwide, often calls for holistic approaches that minimize side effects while addressing the root causes. Amidst this quest for gentler yet effective treatments, herbal remedies have emerged as promising alternatives. Let's embark on a journey through nature's pharmacy to explore the realm of natural herb remedy for eczema.
Understanding Eczema
Before delving into herbal solutions, it's crucial to grasp the nature of eczema. Characterized by red, inflamed, and itchy skin, eczema manifests in various forms, including atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, and seborrheic dermatitis. While genetic predispositions and environmental triggers play significant roles, the immune system's dysfunction and impaired skin barrier function are central to its pathology.

Herbal Allies in Eczema Management
Herbs boast a rich history in traditional medicine, offering multifaceted benefits for skin health. From soothing inflammation to promoting tissue repair, these botanical wonders can complement conventional therapies or stand alone as holistic remedies. Here are some notable herbs renowned for their efficacy in eczema management:
Calendula (Calendula officinalis): Renowned for its anti-inflammatory and wound-healing properties, calendula is a cherished herb in herbal medicine. Its soothing effects make it a popular choice for alleviating eczema symptoms, including itching and redness. Calendula-infused creams or ointments can be applied topically to affected areas for relief.
Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla): Chamomile's gentle yet potent anti-inflammatory and anti-itch properties render it a valuable ally in eczema management. Whether used in the form of tea for internal consumption or as a topical application, chamomile can help calm irritated skin and promote healing.
Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra): Known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, licorice root extract holds promise in eczema treatment. Its active compound, glycyrrhizin, exhibits corticosteroid-like effects, making it effective in reducing itching and inflammation associated with eczema.
Aloe Vera (Aloe barbadensis): Aloe vera's cooling and moisturizing properties make it a popular choice for soothing eczema flare-ups. Its gel, derived from the succulent leaves, can hydrate dry skin, reduce inflammation, and accelerate wound healing, offering much-needed relief to eczema sufferers.
Burdock (Arctium lappa): Burdock root, revered for its detoxifying and anti-inflammatory properties, is increasingly recognized for its potential in managing eczema. Whether consumed internally as a tea or applied topically as a poultice, burdock can help purify the blood, alleviate inflammation, and promote clearer skin.
Neem (Azadirachta indica): Neem, often referred to as the "village pharmacy" in Ayurvedic medicine, possesses potent antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties. Its oil or extract can be applied topically to eczema-affected areas to relieve itching, reduce inflammation, and prevent secondary infections.
Evening Primrose Oil (Oenothera biennis): Rich in gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), evening primrose oil is prized for its anti-inflammatory and moisturizing effects on the skin. When taken orally or applied topically, it can help improve skin barrier function, reduce inflammation, and alleviate eczema symptoms.
Incorporating Herbal Remedies into Your Eczema Care Routine
While herbal remedies offer promising benefits, it's essential to approach their use with caution and informed guidance. Here are some tips for incorporating herbal remedies into your eczema care routine:
Consult a healthcare professional: Before experimenting with herbal remedies, consult a qualified healthcare provider, especially if you're pregnant, nursing, or have underlying health conditions.
Patch test: Perform a patch test before using any herbal remedy to check for allergic reactions or sensitivities.
Choose quality products: Opt for reputable brands and sources when purchasing herbal remedies to ensure purity and potency.
Monitor effects: Keep track of how your skin responds to herbal remedies and adjust usage accordingly. Discontinue use if adverse reactions occur.
Practice holistic care: In addition to herbal remedies, adopt a holistic approach to eczema management, including proper skincare, stress management, dietary modifications, and lifestyle adjustments.
Conclusion
In the pursuit of eczema relief, the bountiful offerings of nature beckon with promising herbal remedies. From calendula's soothing embrace to neem's purifying touch, these botanical treasures offer holistic support for managing eczema symptoms and promoting skin health. By embracing the wisdom of herbal medicine alongside conventional therapies, eczema sufferers can embark on a journey toward greater comfort, vitality, and well-being.

Where can I find reliable skin infection treatment in Ludhiana?
Are you searching for a skin infection treatment?
The best way to get permanent relief from skin infections is with natural medicine, which means Ayurveda.
Unhealthy eating habits and lifestyle choices are the cause of this, as they directly affect the digestive system of the body and can seriously harm your health. Numerous investigations have determined that a sedentary lifestyle and a poor diet are the root causes of fungal infections and other skin-related disorders. You may end up becoming dependent on creams and steroids as a result of this.
People often say that a person's skin is a reflection of their internal wellness.
Tumblr media
There are many Skin Care clinics in Ludhiana which provide a solution to your problem. But based on my experience and analysis , Dr.Sharda Ayurveda takes on traditional Ayurvedic treatment that supports physical, mental, and spiritual healing. This hospital treats people from all around the world with Ayurvedic medicine and has the best success rate in treatments. With the help of Ayurveda, she treats eczema, psoriasis, and fungal infections on skin. Last year I was suffering from eczema. I had a red patch on my right arm, which annoyed me because of the itching, and the skin became weak and lost its moisture, which resulted in darker, rougher, and thicker skin. I took many medications from different doctors and applied creams, powders, and lotions to my skin. But I was unable to get permanent relief or a solution. One day I was scrolling on Facebook, then I reached out to the Dr.Sharda Ayurveda profile and searched for my skin problem on their website, and I was shocked when I knew that this hospital was treating 50+ diseases under one roof. Furthermore, they have four branches in Punjab. Several people get a permanent solution to their diseases. The very next day, I visited their Ludhiana branch and explained my whole situation about my skin infection to her doctor. She recommended guidelines for diet modification, exercise, and taking and applying herbal medications to the skin. After almost 3 months, I got better results with Ayurveda and the problem of skin infection was permanently solved. My skin was crystal clear, and all the red patches and dryness were removed. I am really thankful to the Dr.sharda Ayurveda clinic doctors for helping me overcome my disease.
