RoboCop 2 will be released on 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray on June 18 via Scream Factory. The 1990 sci-fi action sequel was the final film directed by Irvin Kershner (Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back).

Comic book legend Frank Miller (The Dark Knight Returns, Sin City) and Walon Green (Eraser) wrote the script. Peter Weller returns to star with Nancy Allen, Dan O'Herlihy, Tom Noonan, Belinda Bauer, and Gabriel Damon.

RoboCop 2 has been newly scanned in 4K from the original camera negative with Dolby Vision and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 Surround and 2.0 Stereo. Special features are listed below.

It's Megacop vs. Megacorp when Detroit's cyborg crime-fighter hits the streets to protect the innocent – this time from corporate greed!

When the ruthless corporation that runs Motor City begins kicking families out of their homes to clear space for a profitable new real estate project, RoboCop (Robert John Burke, 2 Guns, Limitless) joins with a renegade band of freedom fighters to save them. But RoboCop must face some deadly foes, including a lethally efficient android and a dangerous gang of thugs. RoboCop's latest arsenal of high-tech weaponry only somewhat evens the battlefield, as this lone superhero takes on the entire army of corporate militia in an all-out war to control Detroit! Scream Factory has revealed the specs for the Collector’s Edition Blu-ray releases of RoboCop 2 and RoboCop 3, which hit shelves on March 21. RoboCop 2 has received a new 2K scan. Paul Shipper designed the new artwork; the original posters are on the reverse side of each.

1990’s RoboCop 2 is directed by Irvin Kershner (Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back) and stars Peter Weller, Nancy Allen, and Dan O'Herlihy. RoboCop 3’s Robocop 3 is directed by Fred Dekker (The Monster Squad) and stars Robert John Burke, Nancy Allen, and Rip Torn.
