Struck me today that my little brother is the almost exact age as Wind and. hm. I don't know how I feel about that.

I love making up bad guys for whumptober. Especially when I realize with some tweaking I can use these bad guys for other things and they actually fit really well for a different story

Mentioned this yesterday but I got some pictures of it— the sacred ground ruins in botw have a triforce design in the center, and the courage portion is cracked.

Sky: maybe he’s thinking about where we’re headed next?

Warriors: nah. he’s probably asleep

Wind: his eyes are open though?

Warriors: never stopped me

Wind: 🤨

Four: maybe he’s just... thinking?

Hyrule: about what?

Wind: bugs!

Sky: rabbits?

Wild: I still think it’s food

*arguing ensues*

Legend: *actually having an intense argument with Fable via telepathy link over whether cereal is a soup or not*

The two who were arguably most freaked out by Twilight almost dying are also the two looking the most upset that the Shadow isn't dead

Adding this to my "Four and Wind are related" propaganda because LOOK at their expressions, they're nearly identical!! The only difference is Wind's squiggle mouth versus Four's lack of squiggle (which could totally be blamed on Wind's baby face).

They're related I say!!! Family!!!

I think in any sort of modern setting Hyrule probably wouldn’t use a phone very much but when he does he texts Wild stuff like this with zero explanation

Horrible lu thought of the evening:

Warriors knew Marin in the war, and figures out Legend is the Link she was always talking about. It comes out somehow that Warriors met her and Legend lights up and immediately starts hounding him for details.

...Warriors just has to figure out how to break it to him that Marin died in the war.

Here's my guess for dungeon groups:

Time, Twilight and Wind (because Time is NOT going to let Twi out of his sight, also if you look at the second-last panel in the update, it seems like he's looking at them specifically)

Warriors, Hyrule, and Legend (I think it makes sense for them to be together, even if Legend drives Warriors nuts. I could see him being like "here pretty boy I'll teach you all you need to know about dungeons" and go from there. Hyrule is there because I bet he'd want to go with Legend, and he also seems to look up to Warriors)

That leaves Four, Sky, and Wild, which I didn't think about much, but would certainly be an interesting group. Four and Wild working together would be nice, especially with Wild's new sword, and I wonder if Four would maybe end up using the Master Sword... maybe. It's just a guess.

Maybe it’s just me... but this totally feels like it could be a way for the Zeldas to show up.

I mean a whole dungeon with owl motifs? Clearly stated to be associated with wisdom? The element of the triforce that Zelda is ALWAYS associated with?? And there’s even a little Zelda cameo???

I have no clue how the Zeldas showing up would be done at this point, or even if it would make sense for any of them to show up yet, but the storytelling part of my brain is honing in on the owls and wisdom discussion as a clue.

Those owls are going to be important somehow, and I really think they’ll be Zelda-related. Even if this dungeon is just a way to somehow check in on one (or more) of the girls to see what they’re doing, or maybe Dark Link is going to try something with them... I don’t know. So many options. I can’t wait!
