Telangana New Bhumata Portal: A Strategic Replacement for the Dharani System

The Bhudhaar cards, both temporary and permanent, will be available online for all assigned parcels of land. Additionally, a pattadar passbook-cum-title deed will be issued to all individuals listed in the record of rights, provided they pay the prescribed fee. These documents will be distributed by the tahsildar or an authorized person.

He highlighted that the rushed implementation of the Dharani portal and the elimination of the VRO/VRA revenue system at the village level led to numerous unresolved grievances. The user charge for slot booking at Mee Seva centers is Rs.200 per transaction, including up to 10 necessary printouts. Additional printouts will incur a charge of Rs.5 each.

In response to technical challenges, the Telangana government has mandated the implementation of necessary mechanisms and new modules to address all issues related to the Bhumata portal.
