“Oh, no, my friend — I will not leave you here to suffer!” Hercules certainly won't let his own mistake ruin someone's day — or let someone be hurt while under his watch. That's the opposite of what the god of heroes is meant for — especially with people like Remy and his allies, heroes in their own rights. 

“I apologize once again for dropping you,” he's already reaching for Remy, holding an arm out for him to grab on to. Given the need, he'll scoop him right back up to carry him properly. “Typically I do not make a habit of dropping others — unless they deserve it.”

He pauses. That could be taken wrong. He's supposed to be making an effort to be more considerate, not quite so reckless as years prior. 

“You did not deserve it.”

Nice save. Unlike the previous act of dropping someone he's meant to be helping.
