Kara is constantly annoyed by the treatment of Orcs so much to the point that she will point out when a member of her people does something of note and she never forgets. To this extent it is why she is so boastful of her own accomplishments....even a successful date counts as a huge accomplishment seeing as Orcs have a history of raping and pillaging.
