Well... My country's national day is coming soon so...

I present you my hc about my country: ⭐Chile!!⭐

• They/them pronouns (non-binary afab but tolerates he/him pronouns)

• Has anger issues and mommy issues (what? Florida and them were from the same empire)

• Has no friends but doesn't care about it

• They gave Texas a nickname: "Little me" (Reason: Texas is smaller than Chile and the similarities between the flags), Texas find that annoying.

• California reminds them to their politics (Umm...we don't have a good opinion about our politics so...)

• Jokes to cope traumas (Mostly make question their mental health and sanity)

• Catholic

• Doesn't like their capital (I can't explain it but has to be with centralism)

• One of the most seismic countries in the world (we have the first place in the strongest earthquake in the world with the Valdivia earthquake of 1960 which was 9.5)

• Their accent in english sounds like a mix between British accent and American accent

• Likes to read

• Participates in rodeos (yes, we have rodeos here)

• Has a tense relationship with Spain (personal stuff not political)

• Never experienced a hurricane (and we hope that a hurricane never happens here) but they experienced wild fires, earthquakes, floods, some few tornadoes, heavy rains, high temperatures (one time in my city it was 42°C which is 107°F), tsunamis, etc.

• Relationship with Gov: Tolerable

• In spanish speaks with a southern accent or a northern accent

• Relationship with their Gov: They should be 5 foot of distance between each other.

• If they were a child of a ship from this fandom, it could be Texacali but being raised by Florida, Louisiana and Mother Nature...Ufff!

Hi travelers! How are you? We are very excited to have started our journey!

When we arrived, the first thing we did was to ask for a map because of course, we didn’t want to get lost and some information about the weather to be prepared with suitable clothes!

Now we know that this wonderful country has large areas of wild landscape and it can be divided into three areas: The Highlands, located in the northern and northwestern regions of Scotland, is the largest geographical area in Scotland, has wild and untamed mountainous areas. Here you can find some of the most famous landscapes in the world: The Loch Ness with its mythical monster Nessie and Ben Nevis, the highest peak in the UK!

The Central Lowlands, situated between the Scottish Highlands to the north and the Southern Uplands to the south, is a region that includes major cities and urban areas and because of this, it has a higher population than other places of Scotland and serves major transportation. It also has gentle hills, farmland and rivers. There are located the beautiful cities of Edinburgh, the capital, with its Edinburgh Castle and parliament and blend of historical architecture and modernity. And Glasgow, with its artistic and architectural heritage.

And last but not least, just north of the border with England are the Southern Uplands, known for its forests, open moorland, and numerous valleys. This area also has a rich cultural and historical heritage, with various archaeological sites and walking trails!

We were very surprised by the similarities between Scottish and Chilean weather! In general, Scotland is similar to the weather of the south of Chile. I find it useful to think I’m in Valdivia, so I know what I should be prepared for. I don’t want to be caught in a sudden rain because of the unpredictable weather! Many people have warned us that, even though the summer is cool and the winter is mild, we should have in mind that sometimes in Scotland you can experience the four seasons all in the same day!

We also wanted to mention that due to Scotland is located in the northern hemisphere, the seasons of the year are inverted compared to Chile. In other words, while in Chile it’s still winter, here we’re in summer! And because of how up north this country is, in summer the days are quite longer than usual. Nevertheless, it isn’t as cold as it could be thanks to the Gulf Stream that carries warm water.
