They still write letters. Younger philosophies beg them to get phones but they either refuse or own one and don't know how to use it.
Stoic always writes proper.
"Dear Epicurion, daughter of Epicurus of Samos,
I hope this letter reaches you in good...health, I suppose. Despite the fact we can't get sick, I think you'll appreciate the intention.
I feel that it's been a while since you, Pyrrhonides and I got together. I have already sent Pyrrhonides a letter inviting him to my home, so I would like to invite you too.
If this reaches you before Friday, I invite you into my residence on Sunday, you're free to arrive at any time, though preferably the morning.
Momento Vivere,
Zenonides, son of Zeno."
Epicure is less proper.
"Respected Zenonides,
Thank you for the invitation, though I'm afraid I won't be able to make it. I hope that we are able to see eachother next week, we will surely be able to discuss this on Monday at the garden.
Most sincerely,
Epicurion. :)"
Peripateticism will go on some unrelated, incomprehensible rant in the middle of the letter before he gets to the actual point. I can't even write an example, I can't emulate the ramblings of a madman
The last time Epicure and Stoic managed to keep up to modern trends was 1920s. They were THRIVING too. Stoic still listens to jazz and swing and both of them default to steam machinery when someone is talking about cars
