People who weren't in the Omori fandom from 2021-2022 completely missed how insane YBM/Pursuit AU was and the chokehold it had on the fandom. It was an actual point of discussion for a lot of big fans of the game because of how well-known the series was and I'm dead serious. When the final chapters of Pursuit were about to release there was a countdown on twitter, and when it came out it released alongside an ACTUAL ART PRINT OF THE CHARACTERS (I own one!). There was a tag specifically for spoilers so people had time to read and a place to ramble without spoiling anyone on the insane events that transpired in the endings. I'm not fucking kidding when I say there was a whole ass discord server dedicated to this shit

pursuit hero was scary, i couldn't stand the bit where Hero forced Sunny to eat pancakes. Like- an unspecified amount of stacked pancakes (probably 3), that's torture!!?!?!? You know how suffocating pancakes can be??? And hero just forced it, even pinching Sunnys nose so he couldn't BREATHE and be forced to swallow it!?!?! Just one bite after the other!?!?!

Being a YBM/Pursuit fan is so silly/IHATETHIS because

the reputation of this fic is horrible due to the rampant misinformation that people spread about it

I joined after the au's peak so like at least half the art for this fucker is basically lost media now

None of my friends will sit down and read anything longer than like a couple thousand words. This is a LONG fic series.

Like one person still cares about it online at this point.

My parents are a little concerned about my mental health now. Seriously tho, its a FIC that makes you notice my mental health issues???
