oh, who is she? (f1 driver!megumi x fem!reader) part twooo
it was about 10 pm before you went to megumi's hotel room. the race went overtime and you needed to rest. qualifying was one of the most hectic days and you thought you deserved that bit of rest after all that running around you do for the team and megumi alone.
you wondered how long it will take him before he is bored with you and finds a new toy to play with. of course, not all f1 drivers were like this, most held class and perfectionism all the way through— of course megumi was like that, too— but they also needed a way to take all that furstration away. the pain and anger for crashing, the hatred for their fellow drivers/team mates, most driver chose golf or alcohol but megumi? he chose you.
and you complied. you offered yourself to him. who wouldn't? with those deep set eyes, full lips and toned abs, anyone would throw themselves at him. single, rich, and good looking— he's megumi fucking fushiguro.
you stand in front of the mirror as your heart throbs at your chest, you look at your pretty little outfit, school girl skirt with a simple white button down shirt, and your signature gold necklace. you breath out as you add some last bit of mascara and strawberry lip gloss. you were late on purpose, the anticipation of what he might do if you were, the punishment— your mind wandered— it got you aroused as you clenched your thighs together.
as you went up the elevator, you played with the hem of your skirt, breathing lively as the elevator dinged to your destined floor. your heart practically lept off your mouth as you knocked on the door.
as much as aroused you were, meanwhile megumi was jacking off in the bathroom thinking you won't be coming to see him tonight. he wouldn't admit it to you, but it made him sad. what?! sad?! megumi is never effected a woman, but you weren't just a woman to him, you were his dream woman. with your perfect curves, and tanned skin, lucious brown hair and sweet eyes, he practically crashed his car just so he could talk to you. of course, one thing bigger than megumi's dick, was his ego, so he would never admit.
but he didn't have to, because his actions did. while you were getting ready to be fucked senseless, megumi was pouting about why you weren't here at 9 exact, like he said before. he groaned as he checked his phone, 9:10 no you. 9:25 no you. 9:40 no you, instead of sitting on the chair and thinking of you, he went on the shower and thought of you.
with his gorgeous dick in his hand, he carresed over his pink tip, a soft whimper leaving his mouth as he tightened his grip. going faster, and harder, his pace getting sloppy as his hips buck and his come is released with a loud moan to your name. he pants as the cold water trails down his body. he hears the knock as soon as he gets out of the shower, thinking it might be his team mates on their way for a drink, he opens the door with the grumpiest expression, just to see your flushed face.
"you're late." he said through grittened teeth.
"race ran late. m' sorry." you said, with a smile on your face as he moves away from the door to let you in. your eyes first scan his entire body, he was entirely naked except for that slim towel covering his slim waist. his broad waist on display as the small bruises on his back make an appearance, making him even more hotter. his black hair is wet and dripping— just like the fire between your thighs— and his cheeks are slightly flushed.
"i don't like late, y/n," he said, his hands slowly sliding to your waist as he closed the hotel door, guiding you inside. "i thought you knew me better." his breath hit your ears as he kissed your collerbone, "and that skirt...oh, y/n," he moans in your ears as his hands gripped your breats and his thumb ran over your peaked nipples over your shirt, "is this on purpose?" he asked.
"no," you breathed out. he smiled against your skin before—in a quick and swift movement— he bend you over the bed, your knees pressed against the firm mattress and your ass in the air, you groaned at his rough movement.
"i don't like liars, either." he said, before spanking your ass loudly. you moaned as he took both your hands, pinning them to your back, your face pressed against the mattress now. "now, again. was this on purpose?" he asked, "y/n,"
"yes! yes, it was!" you said loudly as he smiled. his hand caressed the area he spanked, the stinging sensation burning through his warm fingertips as you whimpered. his finger gently pulled your underwear to the side, his other thumb holding it in place. you twitched as soon as his fingers glided over you wet clit.
"so sensitive.." he whispered. you felt his breath on your cunt before you felt his lips. his soft, yet firm, lips pressed against the lips of your cunt as you moaned out loud. his tounge traced all of your folds before his index finger rubbed your bud. your legs shook as you felt the knot in your stomach tighten. instantly, he pulled his finger out, and parted his lips from your cunt, "not yet." his low, husky voice reached yours, "you made me wait, and hour. it'll take you a while before i let you come."
he flipped you over so you would lie on your back now. your ass hit the cold wooden surface of the bed as he caressed your knees. he pulls your underwear off as he leaned down to put a soft kiss on your lips. it wasn't like normal, it was soft, sweet, almost intimate but primal, carnal. as if he needs this, he needs you. the kiss made you confused, dazed, as he pulled out. his blue eyes gazed into yours before he kissed you again. this time fast, hungry and not at all sweet. this kiss was fierce, bold, he bit your bottom lips as your teeths grazed. you moaned when you felt this knee rub against your bare, wet core.
"megumi..." you moaned, feeling his teeth graze over your clothed nipples. he opened his mouth, filling his face with your breasts in his mouth. he moaned, the vibration making your back arched, he practically ripped the shirt away from you as you giggled and threw his towel away.
"eager, are we?" he gave you a low chuckle that made your stomach flutter.
"always for you."
he smiled before his lips glided down to yours again. his dominant hand slided up your throat as you moaned on the kiss. his other hand slided down your stomach, creating goosebumps on the way to drop to your glistening clit. his finger grazed over your bud as you whined in the kiss.
"megumi, please!" you said, throwing your head back. he chuckled, his fingers slowly drawing circles around your sex. you whimpered as his pace went quicker and quicker. suddenly, without any warning he shoved two fingers inside out. his hands going faster than his car. you clenched around his fingers but this time he didn't take his finger away, and you squirted (i hate this word, im sorry, but idk what else word to use????) all over his fingers and sheets.
"tsk, tsk, tsk! the glorious media manager..." he taunts, "why did no one record you coming all over my fingers like that?" he kissed your cheek before pulling your skirt down. you shut your legs together but he grabbed them forcefully and opened them, "don't. you're perfect."
he lowered himself so his face would be level with your wet cunt, and his eyes looked up to you. "i can smell you, sunshine." he moaned, "so wet..."
he took in a slow yet careful lick, from your slit to your clit. Tasting your arousal. I licked y/n again, this time her folds, each and everyone of them. you shook under his touch, feeling her thighs close up on my face, he forcefully separated them with his hands, again. "stop doing that." he giggled. your face flushed as you covered your face with your hands.
he licked and sucked on her cunt as long as he could, eating you like a starving man, he put your left leg on his shoulder, yanking you closer. you gripped his hair, grinding on his face shamelessly. and then for the second—oh well, third— time you came today. he looked at you, his chin dripping from your slick and come.
he hoovered on top of you. his warmth exageratting from his body as he send you a soft smile before tugging a strand of your hair away from your face. "tell me to stop," his eyes searched for yours, "and i will stop, okay?" you hummed as you kissed him again. he got your answer as he pushed his hard length into your sex.
he moaned at how tight you always were. he fully let his length get inside you as you moaned and gripped on his arm. "too deep, too deep..."
"shut up, you wanted this." he said breathlessly before he got up, his knees bent as he grip your hip and slams into you again. you moaned as he fastened his face, his ball hitting your ass your toes curled and your back arched. tears formed in your eyes as you felt your come leaking all over his cock. your hands pushed him away from his abs as he threw your hands away, "not over, till i come." he said, you groaned, your hands gripping the bed sheet as you felt your fourth come arising. "fucking whore." he whispered.
his mean words adding fuel to the fire as you twitched and frailed around. you clenched around his dick as his hands bucked, he got ontop of you again, thrusting into you from angles you didn't know existed as you came again. your come erected his as he came shortly before you. he panted in your ears as he got up again, pulling himself out of you, causing you to moan.
his eyes lingered at your glistening cunt, his come dripping down from your sex as he traced his come. you twitched, still sensitive as he spread his come all over your sex. his eyes stayed focus on your cunt for a second, before they found your already closed and panting ones.
he laid down beside you, folding the wet patch of the sheet so it wouldn't bother you before pulling the blanket over your chest, your eyes lazily fluttered at him before he brought you closer to him. your legs getting interwined as he sighs deeply, inhaling your scent.
"so, what's new with the account?" he'd ask, listening your sleepy voice getting fumbled as you both fell into deep slumber. only to wake up and do this all over again, before he went to race. winning, and collecting his prize : you.
this was a bit long, sorry bout that :(

excerpt from the odericevertz summer offseason fic i’m working on atm. rpf below the cut
Yours was better, he texts Declan after the match is over, sitting in SoFi Stadium’s locker room, the American football team logo emblazoned on the wall across from him nightmarishly bright. Doesn’t say anything else. Scrolls up, instead, through their chat history: pictures, most recently of a gorgeous golf course in the Irish countryside. A few mirror shots of Declan in the gym that Kai had peered over his shoulder to look at. Bukayo fast asleep on the floor in front of the Playstation. Kai in a state of near-heatstroke, sprawled out on the turf with his eyes closed.
He’s not expecting Declan to come online. The chat stays silent, his own cursor blinking up at him. Martin shoves his phone into his duffel bag and starts packing up: slides, towel, an ice pack that’s long since gone damp. He’s almost done when Kai pokes his head into the room, hair still matted to his forehead.
“Coach is leaving soon,” he says. The urge to peel his hair back and straighten it with his fingers never gets any less intense for all the times it strikes Martin, but he resists; Kai’s mouth is curled downwards at the corners in the way it only does when he’s frustrated. He arrived two days ago with the Gabis, came on tonight for Martin in the seventy-first minute, a mediocre performance, a missed penalty. He’ll be quieter than usual for the rest of the night, Martin knows, turning it over in his head to think about what didn’t click this time, but he knows his worth well enough that Martin won’t have to lean over from the other bed and make sure he’s actually asleep instead of staring at the ceiling wallowing in self-doubt. They’re no longer the same people they were nine, or six, or even three months ago: losing clarified Kai, lent a sharper edge to his movements, his thoughts, his purpose. Something harder behind his eyes that Martin wants to see put to the sword.
“Yeah,” Martin says. Gets up, and goes.
#ki.fic#trying to finish it before the season starts but ughhhh there is literally no way that’s happening#would be perfect though because it spans from end of 23/24 to the leverkusen match……#sigh. odericevertz i miss you

Solomon scenarios for his birthday <3
A lot of these are from @creativepromptsforwriting so credit to them, this is very ooc and probably not written well.
. ☪︎* ☁︎. . * ✰ .· ☁︎ . * ✯. ☪︎* ☁︎. . * ✰ .· ☁︎ .
• Playing Just Dance together, during couple dances he plays as the girl and you end up having to dip him, which doesn't end well.
• Cooking together, which ends in you two rolling on the ground throwing flour at each other, using wooden spoons as swords, having a food fight and getting batter all over each other.
• Cleaning up afterwards, doing the dishes and having a water fight, throwing soap on each other, whipping each other with the towels, making an even bigger mess to the point Raphael has to come and clean up after you two while you're in the shower.
• Going shopping together, Solomon picking up the most hideous things he could find and going "this would look good on you." Getting him to try on a dress as pay back (he felt beautiful in it and almost bought it).
• Running around House of Lamentation while Lucifer is out, chasing each other like little kids, sliding down banisters. Putting on songs like Macerena and YMCA and dancing in the hallways.
• Watching horror movies and comically screaming when there's a jumpscare, even if you don't get scared.
• Doing each others makeup, Sol purposely messing yours up making you look terrible, him constantly moving when you're doing his not letting you work in peace.
• Going golfing and being really competitive, at one point you were thinking of hitting him over the head with the club, alternatively playing Wii sports and almost hitting each other with the remote.
• Going ice skating, but you're both terrible and end up clinging onto each other for dear life. When one of you falls, you both go down, Solomon purposely tripping you and pushing you around.
• Going to a zoo together, Solomon pointing at one of the gorillas and saying "that looks like you." When a bird squaks at you, squaking back, the two of you going back and forth squaking at each other, getting weird looks from other people.
• Going to restaurants and fake proposing to each other just so you can get free food. Solomon telling the waiter that it's your birthday, so you can get free cake and to embarass you.
• Painting each other, Sol making it his life mission to make you look terrible, giving you a butt chin and a unibrow, wonky eyes and a huge forehead.
• Doing this ^ but making Mii's instead, and playing Wii sports with them.
• Doing the yoga challenge, constantly falling and yelling at each other to do it right.
• Going swimming, splashing each other, trying to drown each other.
• Going stand up paddle boarding together, constantly falling in the water, deliberately pushing the other in.
• Going to a waterpark together, playing hide and seek in it.
• Giving each other fashion shows, doing your best catwalk and hyping each other up.
• Playing board games, being competitive, almost flipping the table at one point, accusing each other of cheating.
• Movie marathons, complete with a pillow fort, popcorn, and staying up until 6am. Having a night dedicated to scary movies, one to childhood / Disney movies, one to action movies, etc.
• Going to an escape room and coming up with the weirdest solutions. "Maybe we have to make out with the skeleton!" "What if I just throw you at the door, will that open it?", etc.
• Taking dance classes together, making up a whole back story about your characters, how they met, the relationship with each other (the dance instructor is fed up with you two).
• Visiting an old cemetery and making up stories for the different graves, what their hobbies were, what dark secrets they took to the grave.
• Visiting a museum about something you know nothing about and acting like a tour guide to the other person, making up an explanation for all the artifacts, guessing what they are and how they were used.
• Trying to learn a new skill together, a pointless one like riding a unicycle, juggling, etc.
• Watching Drag Race together, yelling at the TV, pretending you were judges, singing along during the lip sync for your life.
• Having a girls night, with face masks, painting each others nails, drinks, and telling each other all the gossip. When you don't have anything to talk about you make up drama, fake people and relationships.

do you have any headcanons as to what zenyatta's purpose was before the crisis? (i saw a person hc him as a sex worker, as even though blizzard would never do that i did think it was an interesting idea)
I'm pretty sure they made him a sex worker so they could give him a robo-dick, but like honestly power to them
Personally, I think Zen was hotel staff at a fancy tropical resort somewhere in Thailand or Bali, and was part of a troupe of identical advanced custom labor units that were designed to be interchangeable for multiple jobs around the resort. Like I think the resort was one of those places that's favored for super plush corporate retreats, so Zen would end up doing all kinds of jobs depending on the guests and the needs of the hotel. Zen was the best golf caddy you could ask for, a wonderful masseuse, a discreet and capable bellhop, a charming receptionist or concierge, a housekeeper who could fold the prettiest towel origami, a dazzling chef, you name it! Aaaaaand then he actually immediately forgot all of these skills at the beginning of the Omnic crisis.
Zen: *is doing that Benihana onion volcano trick at the hotel grill*
Guests: Ooooh! *clapping*
Zen: *suddenly perks up, is strangely still for nearly a minute*
One of the guests: Uh, that onion's starting to--
Zen: *abruptly walks off along with all of the other omnic staff, leaving the onion tower burning on the grill*
Another one of the guests: ...am--am I still going to get my shrimp?
#The hotel was later destroyed by the gwishin#that guy never got his shrimp#tekhartha zenyatta#overwatch

Norwegian Potato Lefse is a traditional Norwegian flatbread made with riced potatoes. It's a versatile and delicious treat that can be enjoyed with sweet or savory toppings.
Ingredients: 4 cups of riced potatoes. 1/4 cup of unsalted butter. 1/4 cup of heavy cream. 1 tablespoon of sugar. 1 teaspoon of salt. 2 cups of all-purpose flour. Additional flour for rolling. Optional toppings: butter, sugar, cinnamon, or jam.
Instructions: After you boil and peel the potatoes, mix them with rice while they are still hot. To the mashed potatoes, add butter, heavy cream, sugar, and salt. Mix well until everything is smooth and creamy. Mix the flour into the potatoes slowly while kneading the mixture. Do this until you have a soft dough. Cut the dough into pieces about the size of golf balls. Using extra flour to keep it from sticking, roll each piece into a thin, round flatbread. On a hot griddle or skillet, cook each flatbread for about one to two minutes on each side, until it is browned and just a little crispy. Put the lefse on a clean kitchen towel and stack them on top of each other to keep them warm and soft. You can add butter, sugar, cinnamon, or jam, among other things, to taste.

Crispy Delight: How to Make the Perfect Buñuelos at Home
It was during a lively tamalada in New York, with friends from Texas and New Mexico, that I found the joy of making buñuelos at home. These buñuelos were more than just food; their cinnamon crispness took me to a festive world I had never seen before. As we mixed the ingredients, which reminded me of tortilla dough but had a special festive touch, we watched them turn into crispy delights in hot oil. Each piece, coated in cinnamon-sugar, became slightly chewy and wonderfully airy. They were amazing with honey or dipped in rich sauces. I'll show you how to make buñuelos that are perfectly crispy and sweet. If you're looking to make the best buñuelos or just want to try a new recipe, these will become a favorite. They’re perfect with syrup or just plain.
A Sweet Introduction to Buñuelos
Exploring Tex-Mex cuisine, I found buñuelos, a hidden gem. These sweets bring the Spanish dessert legacy to Latin America and San Antonio's festivals. They weave a unique cultural story. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mmReBMq6MeE The Cultural Significance of Buñuelos in Tex-Mex Cuisine Tex-Mex offers more than enchiladas and carne asada. The Spanish dessert tradition shines in the crunch of buñuelos. These treats are vital at Christmas and New Year's, carrying a cultural heritage. Originating from Spanish Sephardic Jews, they thrive in Latin America's lively events. My First Encounter with Buñuelos at a Tamalada I stumbled upon buñuelos unexpectedly in New York, at a festive tamalada. Someone suggested pairing our meal with buñuelos. Unlike sopapillas, buñuelos offered a unique, warm, sugary crunch. Each bite drew me closer to Tex-Mex flavors. Exploring Authentic vs. Tex-Mex Buñuelos Recipe Variations Authentic and Tex-Mex buñuelos differ in ingredients and the feelings they evoke. The original's simplicity allows for playful Tex-Mex twists, like adding citrus zest. This shows the love and creativity buñuelos inspire. Taking that first bite of a warm, cinnamon-coated buñuelo, I realized that every crunchy morsel was steeped in tradition yet brimming with new possibilities.
Buñuelos Recipe: A Step-by-Step Guide
Homemade Buñuelos Yields: Approximately 12-15 buñuelos Prep Time: 30 minutes (including resting time) Cook Time: 5-10 minutes Estimated Cost: $5 - $10 Estimated Calories (per buñuelo): 150-200 calories (depending on size and toppings) Equipment: Large mixing bowl Whisk or fork Rolling pin Large skillet or deep fryer Tongs or slotted spoon Paper towels Baking sheet or wire rack Ingredients: All-purpose flour: 2 cups Baking powder: 1 teaspoon Salt: 1/2 teaspoon Ground cinnamon: 1/4 teaspoon (optional) Warm water: 3/4 cup (may need slightly more or less) Vegetable oil For frying Cinnamon sugar: For coating (mix granulated sugar and ground cinnamon) Instructions: Combine dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon (if using). Add water: Gradually add the warm water to the dry ingredients, mixing with a fork or your hands until a soft dough forms. If the dough is too dry, add a tablespoon or two more water. Knead and rest: Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 2-3 minutes until smooth. Cover the dough with a damp towel and let it rest for 20-30 minutes. - Shape the buñuelos: Divide the dough into small balls (about golf ball size). Roll each ball out into a thin circle or oval shape. Fry: Heat about 1-2 inches of oil in a large skillet or deep fryer to 350-375°F. Carefully fry the buñuelos one or two at a time until golden brown and puffed, about 1-2 minutes per side. Drain and coat: Remove the buñuelos with tongs or a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Immediately toss them in cinnamon sugar to coat. Notes & Tips: Dough Consistency: The dough should be soft and pliable but not too sticky. Adjust water as needed. Oil Temperature: Use a thermometer to monitor oil temperature for consistent results. Frying in Batches: Avoid overcrowding the pan to maintain a steady oil temperature. Serving Variations: Serve buñuelos warm with toppings like honey, whipped cream, ice cream, or your homemade caramel sauce! Starting to make homemade buñuelos feels like opening a treasured family ritual in your kitchen. I'm thrilled to share an easy buñuelos recipe that truly captures its spirit. Think of the dough as a blank canvas, similar to making flour tortillas. Turning flour, water, and sugar into something amazing is magical. Our Mexican buñuelos recipe is spiced up with a citrus twist from San Antonio's Mi Tierra. Adding orange juice brings a zing, making each bite of the traditional buñuelos recipe unforgettable. After letting the dough rest, we roll out the balls until they're thin. Then, they're ready to fry.
The bubbles fighting to the surface signal excitement, hinting at the crunch to come. When buñuelos turn golden brown, we coat them in melted butter and orange-cinnamon sugar. This mix of textures and flavors is what we're all after. Our step-by-step buñuelos making guide encourages even beginners to try making buñuelos. You can stick with tradition or try something new, like using coconut oil for a vegan twist. No matter what changes, the cinnamon-sugar finish makes every buñuelo a mix of tradition and new ideas—a perfect Tex-Mex treat.
The Art of Crafting Dough for Homemade Buñuelos
Making homemade buñuelos is like being an artist. You need the right balance of touch and ingredients. It's like bringing a canvas to life with traditional buñuelos ingredients and a little twist. "To make buñuelos at home is to blend tradition with personal touch; it's to turn simple ingredients into celebratory delicacies." Perfecting the Buñuelos Dough Texture Getting the dough right for homemade buñuelos needs patience and precision. It should be neither too stiff nor too tacky. By carefully mixing the basics, I create dough that's soft yet firm. This dough is ready to be rolled thin and turned into crispy buñuelos. Essential Ingredients for an Easy Buñuelos Recipe To start, you need simple ingredients: all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, and a bit of kosher salt. Using butter adds richness, but shortening is fine too. These simple things make an inviting dough that's ready to delight. Incorporating Citrus Flavors: A Twist on Tradition Adding citrus revamps the buñuelos dough into something special. A bit of orange zest, with a nod to Tex-Mex, makes buñuelos flavorful. It's a way to honor tradition while adding something new to each homemade batch.
Frying Techniques for Crispy Buñuelos
I am a passionate home chef in search of the perfect crispy buñuelos. I've found that success in the kitchen comes from mastering the right frying techniques. Getting the fry right feels like a dance with heat and timing. Each step is crucial for that delicious crunch. In my experiments, I've learned that the choice of oil matters a lot. Safflower oil is my favorite because it has a neutral taste and a high smoke point. This makes sure my buñuelos come out golden and tasty, without any bitter smokiness. Choosing the Right Oil and Temperature Choosing the right oil and keeping the oil at the correct temperature is key. 350°F is the magic number for frying buñuelos. It cooks them perfectly without burning the outside or soaking them in oil. A reliable thermometer is essential for keeping the oil temperature steady. This helps get that perfect crispy texture. Yes, making the perfect buñuelo requires not just heat, but also precision and patience. Getting the Perfect Puff: Secrets to Light and Airy Buñuelos The journey to light and airy buñuelos is truly special. It's all about the dough meeting the hot oil and puffing up beautifully. I keep an eye on the oil bubbles and use my spatula to gently guide the dough. This prevents it from getting too puffed up and ensures even cooking. What’s the payoff? Delicate and light buñuelos that melt in your mouth. Whether you sprinkle them with cinnamon sugar or drizzle with piloncillo syrup, they're irresistible. Follow these tips, and your kitchen will become famous for the crispiest, fluffiest treats around.
FAQ
Q: What is a buñuelo? A: A buñuelo is a sweet treat from Mexico and Spain, kind of like a fritter. It's made from fried dough, sprinkled with cinnamon sugar or covered in syrup. This dessert is crispy, sweet, and perfect for holidays like Christmas and New Year's. Q: Is there a difference between authentic and Tex-Mex buñuelos recipes? A: Yes, the authentic recipes are simple, using just flour, water, and sugar. Tex-Mex buñuelos might include orange juice or zest for a special flavor. They also differ in shape and what they're served with. Q: What are the essential ingredients needed for making buñuelos? A: You'll need all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, shortening or butter, a pinch of salt, and water or milk. Some might add orange zest and juice for a citrusy take. Q: Can you share some tips for achieving the perfect puff when frying buñuelos? A: Sure! Roll the dough thin and heat your oil to about 350°F. Use a spatula to manage bubbles, and flip them to cook evenly. This makes your buñuelos light and crispy. Q: What type of oil is best for frying buñuelos? A: Safflower oil is ideal for its neutral taste and high smoke point. Vegetable or canola oil are good choices too. The goal is to use an oil that stays neutral in flavor and can handle the heat. Q: How do you coat buñuelos with cinnamon sugar? A: Fry them to a golden brown, then coat them while warm. Brush with melted butter or dip in oil, then sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. This makes the flavors stand out. Q: Can buñuelos be made vegan? A: Absolutely! Switch to plant-based butter or shortening and use water or non-dairy milk. Also, check that your sugar is vegan (some are processed with animal products). Q: How do you serve buñuelos? A: Serve them plain, or with cinnamon sugar or honey. In Mexico, they come with piloncillo syrup. Try them with chocolate or caramel sauces, or drinks like hot chocolate. Q: Can zesty citrus flavors be incorporated into traditional buñuelos recipes? A: Yes, adding orange zest and juice to the dough gives a fresh citrus flavor. It's a great match with cinnamon sugar. Q: What is the best way to store leftover buñuelos? A: Keep them in an airtight container at room temperature. They're best eaten within a few days. Don't refrigerate to avoid sogginess. Reheat in the oven if needed for crispness. Improvisations to Lessen the Damages of a Hail Storm to Your Car
Are you tired of having your vehicle damaged by the disastrous effects of hail storms? While it is always necessary to be prepared for the inevitable, sometimes the disaster can be overwhelming and far beyond what we think it will be. Hail storms are one of the major weather hazards in Illinois and other states. Aside from the damage to crops and property, vehicles are also no exception. While technological advancements and developments help predict it, thunderstorms can signify a coming hail storm. However, preventive measures or preparations will be better to avoid irreparable damage to your car. Additionally, you must pick an accurate auto shop for hail repair just in case your car got caught up in or damaged by the storm. Lessening the impact of the storm will also spare you from the eye-popping cost of repair you will have when bringing your vehicle to auto body repair in Naperville, IL. Here are more ways and tips you should know to lessen the impact of hail storms.
Time For The Garage! Get your garage cleaned up and prepared to accommodate your vehicle. You might want to eliminate the factor of why you are forced to park outside because your garage is so crowded and stacked up with stuff! It is time to get it cleaned to keep your vehicle safe from the storm.
No Garage? Then Park Under a Tree As absurd as it sounds, some people who lack access to or cannot afford a parking space would prefer to park under a nearby tree to lessen the impact of a hail storm, even though it is advised against doing so because it could result in significant damage. Trees can provide cover and protection from the damaging effects of hail storms if lightning and strong winds are not present.
Improvise a Hail Cover While hail covers can cost from $200 to $300, depending on the model of your car, you might want to save up by improvising a hail cover instead. Also, you can do something to minimize or reduce the damage or impact of the hail storm. You can do this by either choosing any of the following:
Old, Thick, and Padded Blankets A popular improvisation nowadays is the use of blankets. This serves as a cushion and is purposely designed to absorb shock and impact from the golf-sized hail storms. If hailstorms are accompanied by strong winds, these padded blankets will not be blown away because they are typically heavy.
Bags of Potting Soil Worry about the mud later, but having this improvised method can also give much protection to your vehicle from the extremely damaging effects of hail storms. This can be easily spread out on your car and won’t be blown away. You can specifically place this on the fragile parts of your vehicle, such as your windshields.
Cardboard Sheets Some people would recommend this method; however, it might be easily blown away during strong and windy hail storms. Though you can place a weight on them or pile them up together to make them thicker and sturdier, you can also choose appliance boxes because they are thicker than the cheap and regular ones.
Floor Mats or Rugs You can also reduce or minimize the damaging effects of hail storms by making use of floor mats or rugs. You can place its softer or carpeted side on your car windshield with the rubberized sides facing up. If you are securing these mats or rugs atop your car, never use rocks to hold or secure them in place.
Towels and Comforters Hail storm damage can still be reduced by adding additional layers of defense. You can use the towels you have at home. But you will need more to secure them from being blown away. You can also make use of any quilt or thick comforter to get that thicker composition. Remember that the thicker the blankets layered up, the more or better protection they provide.
Plywood Plywoods also offer protection from the hail storm’s golf-sized ice balls. Think about buying an appropriate plywood size for your vehicle. However, you have to secure this properly to avoid dents on your car’s hood, roof, and windshields. Bring your vehicle to an auto body repair in Naperville, IL, for hail damage repair treatment.
Mobile Car Tent If you have no access to covered parking lots or garages, you can opt for an improvised tent solely for the protection of your car from the hail storm. In this way, you can make your tent roof sturdier with durable and resistant materials to lessen the impact of the storm.
If you are caught up in a hail storm while driving, remember to pull over. Do not race up with speeding and panicked drivers around you to avoid unwanted collisions or accidents. Stay inside your vehicle and get on the floor for cover. You can also recline your seat for better protection and use any blanket or jacket you have to cover yourself. And in the aftermath, remember to head to the nearest hospital to be checked for your injuries. For reliable hail storm repairs, do not forget to avail of automotive services in Naperville, IL.

Essential Things To Make Your Golfing Trip More Enjoyable
Golfing with buddies in the wide meadow is a priority to achieve fitness goals and stay happy. When aiming at the hole, it is always a pleasure to swing and hit the ball at the right spot. If you want to upgrade your status to the next level, start focusing on the standard requirements of a pro golfer. Nobody can become a professional or a regular at tee time without enjoying the game. Check out the following list of essentials for making the most of a golfing trip.
Golfing clubs
Golf clubs are pieces of equipment used for hitting the ball. Every golfer needs a club to drop the ball into the cup and score a point. The device has a long rod with a sole and a face at the tip. You cannot use a stick as a substitution for the golf club. To ensure that the golfing session gives you the best experience, get all clubs required for different purposes. Visit a golf kit supplier online and buy the club that suits your golfing style. You can add top-quality and lesser clubs to experiment with each product for fun.
Golf clothing
Unlike other field sports requiring players to run, golfing is very soothing. The golfing session won't demand spandex pants and cleats to manage the physical condition. However, golfers cannot ignore how clothing determines the game. Invest in golfing apparel to suit up for a relaxing game. You can wear golf T-shirts with a collar and trousers. If you want to feel free when walking on clean ground, shorts are appropriate for a bright day. Meanwhile, the ground with shoddy areas and shrubs warrants you to wear long pants to cover your legs.
Balls and tees
You cannot play any form of golf without a golf ball. As much as the golf club is crucial for swinging, a golf ball keeps you from missing it. If you play golf in a close arena with caddies, you can easily relax by sending the ball into the far corner. However, a place like an open field with natural habitats such as ponds, lakes, and wild vegetation is notorious for losing golf balls. So get ready with a new ball when you hit the ball to a spot too far from the tee box. You can keep a stock of golf balls since they are not as expensive as the club.
Tees
Every time you aim for a longer shot, your performance relies on the ball's position beside a correct standing posture. However, not all efforts can be fruitful if you do not prepare the ground. You need a tee, a short peg put into the ground to hold a golf ball off the ground. Pack dozens of tees in your golf bag if you want to make it into several games in the coming weeks. Depending on the quality and golfing style, these pointy objects come in wood or plastic.
Towels
The outdoor golf course may look clean and beautiful, but it consists of dirt and bugs if you look closely at the surroundings. You will soil yourself when you pick the ball from the ground. At the same time, it is difficult to focus on the game when your hands are sweaty. You could lose grip of the club once the sweat from your body runs down the handle. Swing the club in such a slippery situation increases the risk of misaiming and injury. Cleaning your hands dry with an athletic towel is a better way to reduce the wetness in your palms. The fabric of the towel absorbs the sweat and enhances your grip.
Umbrella
The zeal for golfing can motivate you to keep playing all day, but not all sessions will have sunshine. The sky may look blue and clear in the morning until you walk into the tee box in the afternoon. Then, the dark looming cloud could pour heavy water and wash all your hopes down the drain. You can continue scoring for the next hole with the spirit of golfing. To proceed with the plan, always take an umbrella to the field. There is no need for wetting in the rain and catching a cold while attempting to become a local champ. An umbrella is also a good shade when you take a break from the game and recline on a lounging chair.
Headgear and sunglasses
When playing golf under bright sunlight, you should not risk your eyesight by squinting for a distant spot. It is not easy to see the flag above the hole if floaters start growing in your eyes. Wearing a hat or visor is the best practice to maintain your eyesight because it is too dangerous to do sports activities with your eyes closed. If the small area of shade on your face is not enough, you should wear dark glasses to refresh your vision. The sporty sunglass can protect your eyes from dirt and excess brightness when enjoying outdoor sports.
Water and snacks
It is impossible to stay dry while playing golf for hours. The dehydrated body cannot endure the pressure from heat and sweat. No matter how badly you want to golf on weekends, you should never ignore nutrients as a part of your health requirements. However, drinking directly from a tap is too dangerous. You never know if touching water from an unknown source can be infectious. For this reason, you must pack your water bottles and keep them cool in an ice bucket.
Like everyone else, you have a dream of staying near the green. Add a club car roof extension to your golf cart and get ready for a pleasant trip.

END THE MADNESS
WF THOUGHTS (12/16/22).
Regardless of political persuasion, we can all agree on the following two points:
1. The U.S. president holds the most important job in the world.
2. The U.S. president is the “face" of America, both at home and abroad.
Based upon the foregoing:
1. No voter should vote for any presidential candidate who cannot be trusted with the most important job in the world, and no voter should vote for any presidential candidate who should not be the "face" of America.
2. No political party should nominate any presidential candidate who cannot be trusted with the most important job in the world, and no political party in America should nominate any presidential candidate who should not be the "face" of America.
Are we all in agreement so far? If so, let's move on to an imagination game.
Imagine the following:
A. A celebrity announces that he's seeking his party's nomination for president.
B. Every morning, the celebrity puts 10 large Ziploc bags into a basket that he keeps on his bathroom vanity.
C. Every day, after he finishes his morning personal hygiene routine, the man puts each of the following items into an individual Ziploc bag:
▪His used toothbrush.
▪His used dental floss.
▪The used bar of soap from his shower.
▪His dirty towel.
D. Every evening, after he finishes his personal hygiene routine, the man puts each of the following items into an individual Ziploc bag:
▪His dirty socks.
▪His dirty underwear.
▪His used toothbrush.
▪His used dental floss.
▪The used bar of soap from his shower.
▪His dirty towel.
E. Every night, right before he goes to bed, the man uses a big Sharpie to date and autograph the 10 Ziploc bags from that day. He then goes to his personal website and lists each bag for sale for $100.
Is that a guy who should be president? Is that a guy who should be the presidential nominee of a major American political party? Should that guy hold the most important job in the world? Should that guy be the face of America?
If our imagination game occurred in real life, wouldn't we all agree that the behavior is extremely bizarre? Wouldn't such behavior strongly suggest the possibility of multiple mental illnesses? Wouldn't such behavior strongly suggest that the man has no respect for the presidency?
Who could be so narcissistic to think that people would want to buy his used personal hygiene items? Who could be so desperate to be president that he'd engage in any tasteless stunt as long as it keeps his name in front of the American people?
Yesterday, Trump announced that he's selling digital trading cards of himself for $99 each. The cards feature a bunch of ridiculous renditions of Trump, including poses as a cowboy, an astronaut, and a superhero. It's pathetic.
It gets even more pathetic. Trump offered extra "prizes" to folks who buy multiple cards. Depending on how many you buy, you might be eligible for a sweepstakes to win golf at a Trump resort, a zoom call with Trump, or even a photo opportunity with Trump. Buyers of at least 45 cards automatically receive a ticket for a Trump party in Florida. I'm not making this up.
All of the money goes to Trump personally. This effort has nothing to do with his campaign. It has no charitable purpose. It's part of Trump's never- ending effort to enrich himself.
Isn't this trading card grift basically the same as our imagination game? Trump might as well be selling his used toothbrushes and dirty underwear. Nothing is beneath him. He has an unquenchable thirst to be worshipped. He has a perpetual need to promote himself. He has no boundaries. He'll do anything, no matter how demeaning, for a buck. He can't be trusted with the most important job in the world. He shouldn't be the face of America.
It was bizarre when Trump came down an escalator at Trump Tower to announce his candidacy in 2015, and he has behaved in a bizarre manner on dozens of occasions since that day. The list of bizarre events is way too long to itemize here. Over and over and over again, dozens of times, Trump's supporters and Republican leaders have been willing to give him "another chance" to prove that he's normal. This trading card thing is right up near the top of Trump's craziest behavior. Let's hope that it's the end of Trump. Let's hope that it's the final straw that breaks the camel's back. It's so wrong on so many levels.
Let me close with a few words for my Republican friends and neighbors. These words also need to be heeded by Republican leaders all across America. America needs a healthy two-party system. We're at our best when we have two healthy political parties. We need a healthy Republican Party. If you had any doubt, this trading card stunt definitely proves that Trump should not hold the most important job in the world. It definitely proves that he should not be the face of America. The Republican Party is filled with experienced folks with strong conservative credentials. I'm thinking of folks like Mike Pence, Ron Desantis, Nikki Haley, Glenn Youngkin, and Ted Cruz. That's only a partial list. Do yourselves a favor, and do America a favor, by rejecting Trump. Come out and reject him now. Start the process of restoring glory to the Republican Parry. Kill Trump's 2024 campaign now before it starts, and use your nomination process to select a strong Republican candidate who isn't crazy. Isn't that what's best for the Republican Party and America. Isn't it time to make the Republican Party healthy again? Take advantage of this opportunity that Trump has created with his latest bizarre behavior. Isn't it finally time for the madness to end?
