such a kickass track ❤️
perfect for a sunday night

Let the Rhythm Guide Your Soul: Discover “Alone” by Mr VISION
Tumblr media
About
I’m Yash Suppal, better known as Mr VISION, and I’m excited to take you on a journey through my latest track, “Alone.” If you’re a fan of hip-hop and rap, this song is a reflection of both my personal experiences and the universal feeling of solitude that many of us face. Let’s dive into the story behind the track and how it came to be.
The Heart of “Alone”
“Alone” explores the theme of solitude and self-reliance. The lyric “In your hard times I have found only myself as by my side” captures the essence of finding strength in our own company during life’s toughest moments. I wanted to create a track that resonates with anyone who has ever felt isolated but found the courage to keep moving forward.
You can listen to “Alone” on YouTube. I’d love for you to experience the track and share your thoughts!
Crafting the Track
As both the producer and writer, I poured my heart into “Alone.” The production was a deeply personal process, allowing me to blend raw emotion with a compelling sound. If you’re curious about how the track was made or want to explore more of my music, visit my YouTube channel where I regularly post updates and new releases.
Lyrics That Resonate
Two key lines from the song that I’m particularly proud of are:
“Chala mein hu apni manzil ki aur, Koi nahi saath sirf mein or ek dost, Jo bhi maine socha hai sab mera dosh, Esa laga jo bhi saath mere hai vo mera ghost.”
This verse reflects the solitary journey towards personal goals, emphasizing the inner strength required to continue despite feeling alone.
Another powerful lyric is:
“Jana sabko hai manzil ki aur, Manzil na dur bas bich mein ek stop, Thode din ki life or bus thode din ka daur, Thode din ka saath or phir manzil hai maut.”
It touches on the transient nature of life and the perseverance needed to achieve our dreams. For more insights into the lyrics and to connect with the song, follow my Instagram page.
The Journey So Far
Since its release a year ago, “Alone” has reached 2,495 views on YouTube. The positive feedback has been overwhelming, and a notable highlight was receiving a comment from “Dev Next Level,” a renowned music producer from Punjab. His appreciation was a significant boost and a testament to the hard work invested in the track.

Khanzaadi sat on the couch, scrolling through her phone. She missed Abhishek terribly. It had been two weeks since he left for Punjab to spend time with his parents. Unable to hold back her longing, she decided to post a playful challenge in her broadcast channel.
The message read:
“I wanna know how much you love me. Can you put it in your stories?”
She smirked, imagining Abhishek rolling his eyes. “Let’s see if he takes the bait,” she murmured to herself.
In Punjab, Abhishek was sitting in his room sipping his protein shake when he saw the notification. He opened the message and read it, his brow arching.
“She wants to know how much I love her?” he muttered. His lips curved into a mischievous smile. “Fine, challenge accepted.”
He scrolled through his playlist, searching for the perfect song. Then it struck him. He selected the track, added it to his Instagram story:
“Oh, sunniyan-sunniyan raataan te raataan de vich tu
Jad vi tainu labbhan te mil jaye mainu tu
Saare din diyan gallan beh ke dassan main tainu
Tu mainu bhulle na kade, main na bhullan tainu.”
Khanzaadi was in the kitchen, attempting to make chai, when her phone pinged with a notification in which she was tagged. She saw Abhishek’s story and gasped, her heart skipping a beat.
She played it, smiling like a lovestruck teenager. “This man,” she whispered, replaying the story three times.
Unable to resist, she sent him a message:
“Oh, look who decided to play along.”
Her phone buzzed almost immediately. It was a video call from Abhishek. She answered, trying to keep her expression neutral.
“Enjoying the song?” he asked, his voice dripping with amusement.
She crossed her arms, pretending to pout. “Hmm, it’s decent. Could’ve been better.”
“Liar,” he teased. “I saw you replaying it three times.”
Her cheeks turned red. “Stalker much?”
He laughed. “I just know you too well, Stop missing me so much btw".
She replied exasperated, "I don’t miss you. Like I have no other work, seriously.”
“You don’t miss me?” Abhishek leaned closer to the camera, his smirk evident. “Not even a little?”
“Not even a little,” she replied, feigning nonchalance.
“Then why post that challenge?” he teased.
“Uh, entertainment purposes?” she quipped, grinning.
“Don’t lie, Khanzaadi,” he said dramatically, clutching his chest. “You’re dying to see me.”
“Keep dreaming.” She flipped her hair playfully. “I’m too busy to miss you.”
As their banter quieted, Abhishek looked at her with soft eyes. “Khanzaadi, I know you miss me, even if you won’t admit it.”
They stared at each other for a moment, the silence filled with longing. “I miss you,” she finally admitted, her voice soft.
His expression softened. “I miss you more, you know.”
“By the way,” she began, grinning mischievously, “you still haven’t told me how much you love me. A song isn’t enough.”
He smirked. “Fine. Let me put it into words.” I can sing that song for you live if you ask.”
Her eyes widened. “Really?”
“Try me,” he challenged.
“Okay, sing!” she demanded, laughing.
He sighed dramatically but began singing the lyrics softly, his voice a little shy:
“Oh, sunniyan-sunniyan raataan te raataan de vich tu...”
Khanzaadi burst out laughing, tears of joy forming in her eyes. “You’re horrible at this, but I love it.”
Abhishek chuckled. “As long as it makes you smile, I don’t care.”
After ending the call, Abhishek couldn’t shake the feeling of missing her. He decided then and there to cut his trip short and surprise her.
“She’s going to pay for making me sing, though,” he muttered to himself, already planning his return.

Indian Classical Music: A Journey Through Time by Artigenius
Have you ever stopped to truly appreciate the richness and depth of Indian art and culture? While many of us are familiar with Bollywood hits or the soulful tunes of devotional music, the vast and magnificent ocean of Indian music often remains unexplored.
With this article we intend to dive in on a captivating journey through the diverse and timeless landscape of Indian music.
The Two Prominent Branches Of Indian Classical Music: Dhrupad: Often referred to as the "Father of Indian Classical Music," Dhrupad is characterized by its slow tempo, profound emotional depth and emphasis on intricate rhythmic patterns.
It is one of the oldest forms of Indian classical music, dating back to the medieval period. Dhrupad is traditionally performed by a male singer accompanied by a tanpura and a pakhawaj.
The lyrical content of Dhrupad compositions often includes themes of devotion and spirituality, reflecting the music's roots in ancient Hindu traditions. The performance of Dhrupad is marked by its adherence to strict rules of melody and rhythm, with a focus on purity of tone and expression.
Its austere beauty and focus on improvisation have captivated audiences for centuries.
Khayal: Evolving from Dhrupad, Khayal offers a more expressive and lyrical experience.
It allows for greater freedom in improvisation, enabling the artist to explore the emotional nuances of a raga (melodic framework) and create a unique blend of melody and emotion.
Khayal emerged as a distinct form in the 18th century and is now the most popular form of classical vocal music in North India. It is characterized by its elaborate melodic and rhythmic improvisations, often accompanied by tabla and harmonium.
The compositions in this music style are typically devotional or romantic in nature, with themes ranging from love and longing to the beauty of nature and the divine. The performance of Khayal involves ornamentations, rhythmic patterns and expressions, making it a beautiful form of music.
Beyond The Classical Realm Indian music thrives in a vibrant mosaic of different genres, each reflecting the cultural and artistic essence of specific regions and communities.

Ghazal: This poetic genre, characterized by love poems set to music, originated in Persia and found a unique home in India. Ghazals are known for their melancholic beauty and sophisticated use of Urdu poetry, creating a deeply moving experience for listeners.
Often sung in a classical style, this Indian classical music is usually accompanied by tabla and harmonium.
Ghazals are love poems, expressing the pain and longing of unrequited love or the joy and ecstasy of union.
The performance of Ghazal requires a deep understanding of poetry and music, as singers must convey the meaning and emotion of the lyrics through their voice and expression. They are known for their haunting melodies and soul-stirring lyrics, making them a timeless and beloved form of music.
Tappa: Tappa is a style of classical vocal music known for its fast and rhythmic compositions. It originated in Punjab and is characterized by its lively and energetic melodies. Tappa is often performed in a fast tempo, with intricate melodic patterns and rhythmic variations.
The lyrics of Tappa are typically light-hearted and humorous, often depicting scenes from everyday life or conveying messages of love and joy.The performance of Tappa requires a high level of skill and dexterity, as singers must maintain a rapid pace while delivering melodic phrases and rhythmic patterns.Tappa is a popular form of music in Punjab and has gained popularity in other parts of India as well, thanks to its lively and engaging nature. Modern Expressions: A Fusion of Tradition and Innovation
Bollywood Music: Bollywood music, also known as filmy music, is the popular music of Indian films. The compositions of Natyasangeet are ranging from devotional songs to romantic ballads, each serving to enhance the storytelling and thematic elements of the dance drama. Natyasangeet is performed live during dance dramas, with musicians playing traditional instruments like the tabla, harmonium and flute to create a rich and immersive musical experience for the audience.

From the soulful Baul music of Bengal to the energetic Lavani music of Maharashtra, folk music plays a crucial role in preserving India's cultural diversity. Folk music is often passed down orally from generation to generation, with each community adding its unique flavor and style to the music. Folk songs are typically based on themes of everyday life, including love, nature and social issues, making them relatable and accessible to people from all walks of life. Folk music is often accompanied by traditional instruments like the dholak, harmonium, and ektara, creating a lively and vibrant sound that is both captivating and soul-stirring.

How Music Streaming Has Transformed the Industry
The rise of music streaming platforms like Spotify has revolutionized the way we discover, listen to, and enjoy music. With the click of a button, music lovers now have access to an almost infinite library of songs across genres, countries, and languages. This shift has not only made music more accessible but has also changed the dynamics of the music industry, allowing artists to reach global audiences in a way that was once impossible. The impact of streaming on the industry is immense, and its influence can be seen in various facets, from music discovery to the way songs are promoted and consumed.
One of the most significant ways in which streaming has transformed the industry is through its ability to democratize access to music. In the past, artists relied heavily on record labels, radio play, and physical distribution to get their music into the hands of listeners. Today, anyone with an internet connection can upload their music to platforms like Spotify, allowing independent artists to bypass traditional gatekeepers and reach a wider audience. This has opened the door for new genres and styles of music to gain popularity, including regional genres like Punjabi music, which has experienced a meteoric rise in the digital age.
The Punjabi music most popular song of the year award is a testament to the growing influence of Punjabi artists on the global music scene. These awards recognize the best Punjabi songs of the year, showcasing the talent and creativity of artists from the Punjab region. Thanks to streaming platforms, songs like these can go viral internationally, even reaching listeners who may not be familiar with the language. Streaming has enabled Punjabi music to break traditional boundaries, with artists achieving recognition worldwide without the need for extensive international tours or traditional media coverage.
In addition to helping regional genres thrive, streaming platforms like Spotify also offer personalized features that enhance the user experience. For instance, the my spotify top artists feature allows users to track their most-listened-to artists, providing a personalized musical journey. Spotify's algorithms suggest new tracks based on user preferences, making music discovery easier than ever. These recommendations introduce listeners to emerging artists and new genres, creating a more diverse and dynamic music ecosystem.
The visual aspect of music has also evolved significantly with the rise of digital platforms. Artists today invest heavily in music cover art, which plays a crucial role in marketing their music. A striking album cover or single art can capture a listener's attention and give a visual identity to the music. In the digital world, where album sales are no longer the primary means of income for many artists, creating visually compelling cover art is an essential tool for grabbing the interest of potential listeners. These covers often reflect the themes or style of the music and can become iconic symbols of an artist's brand. On Spotify, the cover art is one of the first things a listener sees when browsing through a playlist or searching for a new track, making it an important marketing tool.
However, despite the many advantages of streaming, users have occasionally encountered technical issues, one of the most common being the lack of lyrics on certain tracks. For many, the ability to read lyrics while listening to a song enhances the overall experience, allowing them to connect with the music on a deeper level. When Spotify doesn’t display lyrics, it can be frustrating. Why is Spotify not showing lyrics is a common question among users, and there are a variety of reasons why this might happen, including licensing issues or delays in updating the platform’s catalog. Spotify continually works to improve its features, but users can troubleshoot this problem by checking their app settings or waiting for updates.
The ease with which listeners can share their favorite tracks is another way in which music streaming has reshaped the industry. With a simple click, users can send a Spotify song link to their friends, allowing them to instantly listen to the same track or playlist. This has made music sharing effortless, enabling users to promote their favorite songs or share new discoveries with their social circles. It has also led to the viral spread of songs, as users share links to tracks that resonate with them. The shareability of streaming platforms has turned music into a more social experience, where listeners can engage with their friends and the artists themselves through direct interactions.
The rise of streaming platforms has undeniably reshaped the music industry in profound ways. The accessibility of music has brought global recognition to genres like Punjabi music, while personalized features on platforms like Spotify have transformed how listeners discover new songs and artists. Additionally, the importance of music cover art and the growing role of visual branding in music marketing cannot be overstated. While technical glitches like Spotify not displaying lyrics can occasionally detract from the user experience, the overall impact of streaming has been overwhelmingly positive. With the ability to easily share songs and track listening habits, music has become more social and interactive than ever before. The music industry will continue to evolve as new technologies and features are introduced, further enhancing the way we engage with music.
