Prize Wheel: My New Favorite Outreach Tool

We will tell you about the prize wheel. This prize wheel is my new favourite outreach tool. It’s simple, well-designed, and works even better than I expected. It's like a windmill but on wheels! You can rotate it in any direction to find out about your audience. Chatting with people is fun for them and for us, and it's a great way to engage with content. It's clear to see why retailers love it: it's simple to use and easy to understand, plus it generates leads more effectively than other outreach tools.

I understand why we often conceptualize patterns of sexual desire as being set at birth ("born this way" was a lifesaving political slogan for many queer people, for example) but I would love to see more work on the plasticity of sexuality, how arousal evolves to compliment environments, how erotic fantasy helps the unconscious mind workshop challenges and curiosities.

I fear that by adopting a totally set-at-birth mindset, we may miss the invitation sexuality extends to us to rediscover ourselves (and our kinks, and our turn ons, and our emotional hot buttons, and what all those things mean to us) over and over again throughout our life.

Two books in, I can’t help feeling like people who are upset that Rand isn’t getting enough screen time in the show just have some sort of wish fulfillment with book!Rand. He’s a totally fine “chosen one” character, but in typical chosen one fashion he’s trope-y enough to be one of the less interesting characters in the books so far imo. But you know, every girl is in love with him for some unclear reason, people give him respect when he’s quiet and then even more when he gets bossy, being petulant makes people like him *more,* and nothing he has to do actually takes that much effort or challenge (and his mistakes don’t ever backfire). There’s a certain type of person, and especially a certain type of young boy, for whom I feel like that would REALLY resonate.
