It's the will to succeed that keep you motivated, keeps you challenged, keeps you driving towards the dream.

Abraham Lincoln was a wise man, one of the many people in our history that I really admire because of his intelligence and courage. He came from nothing and rose to a man who made one of the greatest impacts on our country and it's history. Lincoln was a man who contributed to molding America to what it is today.

Because of President Abraham Lincoln and what he accomplished, I am proud to be an American. He was truly a man of the people. Lincoln was a benevolent leader who was admired by many and faced the harshest criticisms for his beliefs.

Lincoln began the process to end slavery when he initiated the Emancipation Proclamation but didn't see his vision realized because he was assassinated before the passage of the 13th Amendment that ended it in 1865.

Many people are still enslaved, to negative thoughts, negative people, negative patterns of behavior, and negative social conditioning. In order to really be successful you have to be free to run towards the goal, you have to be free to focus on the vision you want for yourself, and you have to be free from everything we have in our society that teaches us to be unhappy because someone's else's idea of happiness does not match our own.

We all need to free ourselves in order to be truly successful and happy. It all basically comes down to mind over matter. By using your energy, ideas, imagination, intelligence, and will you create your own reality. Choose to focus on what you really want and make the conscious decision to go after it. The only person standing in your way is you.

Life is a journey, make it an exhilarating one! Choose to live free! I’m working towards that dream every single day.
