Thought He’d Got Away With It

Jack genuinely thought he had got away with it. Sure enough that nosy stewardess who looked a bit like Emma Watson had been suspicious and kept wanting to search his bag, but he had managed to give her the slip after disembarking. Or so Jack thought. Just as he had nearly reached the Nothing To Declare zone, “Emma” appeared before him like a long legged vision from a fashion catalogue - except that this image of female loveliness carried a length of airline issue restraint rope amongst her accessories!

Jack didn’t even bother to argue. He just turned around and put his hands behind his back, knowing that the jig was up. “My, aren’t you the co-operative one?” the stewardess smiled as she began to tie up the despairing man. “So much nicer than you were inflight, sir!” It was a mystery to Jack how women in authority could so often sound both curious and complacent. Sometimes in the same sentence…
