omg the first party at holt's house in kp99...

- everyone has experience with parties, including the theerapankul kids— it's just that this is the party of someone they actually like and respect so they are awkward bc they don't wanna embarrass chan

- tankhun dazzles the psychiatrists at the party while kim and kinn watch in amusement

- vegas and pete have a moment by the buffet talking about food that grosses everyone out

- porsche talks himself into a corner trying to charm big, who is unimpressed

- kinn finds his own photos around the chanbig household despite his father having stopped bringing him around pretty young, and it shoud be so sweet and sentimental except some of them are so embarrassing, so much that porsche won't ever let him forget them. he tries to hide them while trying not to look like he is robbing the house of sentimental photos

- kim's taciturn attitude and brooding at the corner makes him the muse of several artists at the party, so he takes to dragging chay around to deter them

- kinn, porsche and chay still end up at chanbig's ensuite bathroom in an awkward position

OMG, the first party at Chan’s house in KP99? Absolute chaos but in the most iconic way possible. Let’s break this down:

Everyone being awkward at Chan’s party 🥴—like, they all have party experience, but this is Chan’s house. They actually like and respect him, so everyone’s walking on eggshells trying not to embarrass themselves, the Theerapankul kids, or him. 😅

The awkwardness of everyone trying not to embarrass Chan is chef’s kiss. Like, they’re all so used to chaos and extravagance, but suddenly they’re in a respectful setting, and it’s hilariously wholesome.

Tankhun dazzling the psychiatrists while Kim and Kinn watch in quiet amusement? ICONIC. I can see Tankhun spinning wild tales that are half true and half made-up just to keep everyone entertained while secretly enjoying being the star of the night. All while, Kim and Kinn are just standing off to the side like proud siblings watching their chaotic brother work his magic. 🤭

Vegas and Pete bonding over buffet food that grosses everyone else out? Perfection. It's such a them thing to find joy in something odd while everyone else is either side-eyeing them or outright walking away. Bonus points if Pete starts ranting about how underrated fermented dishes are and Vegas chimes in just to rile people up.

Porsche charming Big and failing spectacularly is sending me. Big’s unimpressed face is all 👀😐, is gold, and Porsche spiraling into saying increasingly ridiculous things, digging himself a deeper hole, is just so on-brand. Poor guy.

THEN there’s the whole “Kinn grew up around the ChanBig household” moment 🥹—like, he has all these cute childhood memories there, even if Korn stopped bringing him around when he was young. Kinn reminiscing and finding old photos would be such a sweet and sentimental scene…except he’d get so embarrassed, and Porsche would never let him live it down. Cue Kinn trying to hide the photos while not looking like he’s robbing the house. 🖼️😂

That’s such a sweet but hilarious subplot! Kinn being secretly sentimental and Porsche being the worst by teasing him endlessly is such a fun dynamic to add here.

Kim unintentionally becoming the muse of several artists is so funny and fitting. He’d absolutely have the “brooding loner” 🖤🖌️energy that artists can’t resist, and I love the idea of him dragging Chay around like, “If I have to suffer, so do you.” much to Chay's amusement 😏.

Finally, the chaos of Kinn, Porsche, and Chay ending up in ChanBig’s ensuite bathroom in an awkward position? ICONIC. I’m imagining them panicking, trying to explain why they’re all in there without it sounding terrible. Maybe Chay was just trying to hide from Macau, Porsche was helping him, and Kinn wandered in to check on the noise. Either way, the mental image is gold.

Except, if Chan found them he would trust Kinn to tell him the truth and since Kinn wants to keep that trust he blurts it out.

I love this setup—it’s such a perfect blend of awkward humor, heartfelt moments, and chaotic family dynamics. 🖤

P.S. Since Vegas is Gina and Pete is Boyle in this AU, they totally have that chaotic “we slept together” dynamic, but let’s be clear—they DO NOT end up together. Their parents getting married makes it even more hilariously awkward, and I live for that drama. 😂 They’re better off as chaotic besties/sibling energy after all the dust settles.
