My comic for the 2017 MegOp Zine, "Equinox". It was a project I really loved and I'm humbled that so many great artists participated on it. Forever grateful! The edition turned our pretty neat and I still cherish it on my bookshelf :>

One interesting thing about the street dogs in my city is that during the 90-2000s lots of people bought German Shepherds because they wanted good guard dogs. So when you saw street or mutt dogs (sometimes the difference is blurred, my neighborhood had lots of street dogs but they were taken care by people), they all had a little of the German Shepherd black over brown coat, or the ears, the tail, etc. Though most were short-haired which makes sense as this is a hot region.

This could be an interesting thing to research, but I guess it will remain as an anecdote because fortunately there are lots of animal shelters now and people have become more responsible about keeping their pets inside and neutering them, so there aren't that many street or free-ranging dogs anymore. Also, right now the popular breed are toy poodles, but those aren't really the kind of dogs that you would find in the street, unless you're stealing them.

( salón de arte ── cuando todo el ataque comienza, su primera reacción es huir. pero qué difícil se vuelve la simple tarea cuando los rostros de distintos vástagos vienen a su mente. se reprocha por preocuparse, y se reprocha por incluso creer que no sería así. está en su busca de conocides cuando se mete al salón de artes y el paisaje parece una burla. caminando con dificultad por heridas superficiales, sin zapatos y el vestido con obvios cortes, se asusta cuando ve una sombra. un “¿quien eres?” en un grito bajo se le escapa y qué ridícula se siente luego de ello. en un vago intento por protegerse, se esconde tras una estatua. “esto ya parece una maldita mala broma” escupe, esperando que la otra presencia no sea una más del ejército.

no rompan las pelotas si tenes un perro enorme (mastin, dogo, rottweiler, etc etc) ponele bozal en público sobre todo si es de los que se emocionan y le saltan a la gente, nadie sabe que es buenísimo o tu bebé preciado en ese momento se activa el cerebro del paleolitico y te meas del miedo si un animal desconocido de 40 kg se te abalanza, aparte la mayoría de ustedes no sabe entrenar a sus perros que fueron literalmente modificados geneticamente para tener tremenda fuerza y mandíbula de trituradora, igual ya que estamos ponganles bozales a TODOS los perros sin importar tamaño si salen en público tarados
